Ling Ning raised an eyebrow, looking at the twin sisters before her, both wearing identical maid outfits. She had only stepped away for a little while, and upon returning, she was met with this scene.

Seeing Chu Mengyao's expression, Ling Ning knew she wouldn’t get an answer, so she turned around and went back to work.

"Li Qian, you messed up the order for Table 10. Go fix it, quickly!"

"Li Meng, did you forget something? The order for Table 5 still hasn’t gone out—it’s been ages!"

"And stop glaring at each other like that. What if you scare the customers? Smile, both of you! Do you understand what smiling means?"

Although Li Qian and Li Meng were full of energy, this was their first time working. Even though serving tea and water wasn't hard, they still made a few mistakes here and there. Despite saying she wouldn’t interfere, Ling Ning always ended up stepping in whenever the twins ran into trouble.

This was a habit he'd picked up ever since his treasured collection had gone missing. Every time he left the house, he’d check himself to make sure he wasn’t carrying any USB drives. Only once he was sure would he head out.

He really couldn’t afford another loss. With only four USB drives left, losing even one would be a huge blow.

However, Wei Suozhai failed to notice that two small USB drives were quietly lying inside the hood of his jacket.

Once the pretty maid left, Wei Suozhai let out a sigh of relief. As expected, having a pretty girl near him made him so nervous he couldn’t even speak properly.
