Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer

Chapter 405 - 342: Well I didn’t ask you

She fought for him, yes, but always to an extreme. The destruction of countries, then worlds. Entire civilizations were erased because she felt bored. And Gothiel was never allowed to die. She would not let him. No matter how many times he begged, no matter how many times he tried to kill himself, she dragged him back.

He hated it. He hated the suffocating feeling he felt staying by her side, And yet, he couldn’t bring himself to truly hate her, he was her first and probably his only friend in their entire lifetime. And because sometimes she listened to him. Sometimes, in rare quiet moments, she would stop.

So when Iris appeared, Gothiel deliberately placed himself before her. He didn’t hesitate one bit and made up his mind and as expected, he died.

Bomb, unable to accept it, extracted whatever fragments of his soul remained, and fled from their verse.

"Well it doesn’t matter now then kill the rest of the other humans," Time stated coldly, her voice flat and merciless, as if she were discussing something trivial.

"Don’t kill anyone!" Peter yelled, clutching his chest as he felt pain over there, his knees nearly giving out.

"Alright Gothiel," Bomb stated calmly, not even glancing back.

’She caved in so fast,’ Kiana and Elena thought silently, exchanging uneasy glances.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid I knew this was a bad idea!" Time yelled angrily, pacing back and forth in the air as her composure finally cracked.

"Seriously I haven’t betrayed you guys but whatever Gothiel says I have to do it. Afterall we have a binding contract. It doesn’t mean he can control me though so don’t worry about it," Bomb stated calmly, waving her hand dismissively as if the situation were mildly inconvenient at best.

Time simply stared at Bomb with an annoyed expression. "You had such a contract with a mortal?! Omg it’s like everyone of the Aurianna’s I meet tend to be stupid in one aspect!" She yelled angrily while rubbing her temples.

"Oh come on you’re discrediting us way too much," Bomb cooed, her lips curving slightly.

However before they could continue their conversation, a massive pair of hands shot out of the world prism, grabbing them in one crushing clasp and pulling them inside.

"Finally lady Aurianna omg do you know how terrifying it was leaving me here with her," Ragna stated joyfully, almost bouncing in place.

"Aren’t you supposed to be protecting me? Why did you trap me here with them??" Aurianna asked telepathically, her voice sharp with disbelief.

"It’s only one week," Ragna stated casually.

"One week my ass I don’t think I’ll survive a day. Get me out of here!" Aurianna yelled, her panic obvious through her voice.

"Unfortunately I cannot," Ragna shook her head. "Unless you kill them you can’t leave and if they kill you they can leave," she stated bluntly.

’Is she stupid? How does she expect me to do that?’ Aurianna wondered as she stared at the sky in confusion. She closed her eyes, her concentration jumping from one chaos angel to another chaos angel. She saw them being easily destroyed by each Aurianna they were attacking. However, there were some Auriannas that were struggling to hold their own against the overwhelming mob of chaos angels, their movements clumsy but they were never cornered.

"Hey send me there, you have to help master!" Hadina stated urgently.

"You would be nothing more than a burden," Ragna scoffed, her arms crossed.

"Says who?" Hadina asked, clearly annoyed by Ragna’s statement.

"Hadina she’s kinda right," Penma added quietly.

"Master!!!!!" Hadina cried dramatically, dropping to her knees.

"Hey so you just increased my level like that. I don’t know how to control it so it’s giving me problems," Aurianna added telepathically to Ragna, frustration threading her thoughts.

"Well just do your best!" Ragna stated with a wink, which only annoyed Aurianna further.

’When I get out of here I’m beating up that bitch,’ Aurianna thought angrily.

"Also Aurianna?" Ragna blurted out.

"What?" Aurianna asked.

"Umm Bomb Aurianna has Peter and the rest, but I doubt she would kill them though," she stated, and Aurianna’s eyes widened in shock.

"Shit," Aurianna grumbled.

"Also make sure that they don’t catch you, they want to make you a world core," Ragna stated.

"Yeah I heard the full story from one of them, it’s honestly such a pain, but I guess this is how it feels like to be important," Aurianna stated, almost bragging, making Ragna roll her eyes.

"Are you hiding?" Ragna asked.

"What else would I be doing? I’m not stupid enough to take on any of them, do you see what they are doing with their full powers? I’m not risking my life like that but I guess I need to find my friends," Aurianna stated.

"Hmm Jade, should we ask that lady to send us to Aurianna?" Avriel asked, whispering to him.

"I doubt we will be of much help but I sure am getting tired of being a spectator in all of this," Jade stated coldly while scratching his hair.

"Hey, can I ask who you are? I would also like to thank you. I believe that being in the sky is yours," Vanuer stated, walking up to Ragna.

"Of course you’re highly welcome. I’m simply someone meant to protect Aurianna, well Aurianna of this dimension of course," Ragna stated calmly.

"I’m very confused about what is going on. Could you explain?" Vanuer stated, however another woman teleported beside her in a flash of light.

"Basically our world was almost destroyed not the first time but this is probably one of the worst things that might have happened to our world," stated Saintess Ator, the Saintess of the goddess of wisdom. She was a cyborg woman with piercing blue eyes and peach fluffy hair.

She had a noticeable frown on her face, clearly showing her displeasure.

’Well I didn’t ask you,’ Vanuer thought with a blank expression as she stared at Ator.

"Ator do you know what is going on?" Vanuer asked.

"Parallel world concept. We never knew such a theory would be possible. That’s why we all saw the same girl or woman on different continents," Ator stated.

"Hm I guess when this is all over I should replace the face and names of the other Aurianna’s who attacked the world in everyone’s minds and change it to different faces and different names. It would be such a hassle if Aurianna had to deal with the aftermath of all of this," Ragna thought calmly.

"Well that blasted woman has told me the gist of everything, no wonder my level had such a boost. It’s honestly sad because it feels amazing but seeing all these other me, it’s obvious that I’m destined to become a goddess like them. That means I’ll be a step closer to becoming strong like my big sister!" Aurianna chuckled, spinning around happily.

"But killing them would be a problem. It’s obvious from my ranged attacks that they don’t even phase most of them except a few. But if I focus on the weaker ones the stronger ones would track my presence and come to attack me. Such a pain," Aurianna muttered to herself as she stared at the rainbow sky, her rainbow-colored eyes narrowing with annoyance.
