Selena sat up in bed and looked at me.
“Why did you come here?”

“I won’t do that. All the Seal Stones are broken. The absurd world is about to end, do you really think I would?”
She was full of sarcasm and mockery.
“You are being deceived.”
Selena shook her head with a crazed expression.
“No! It’s you who is being deceived by the false gods. How can you say that after seeing this situation?”

At that moment, the orphanage door shattered and heavily armed soldiers stormed inside.

The adult Selena approached me.

While the adult Selena and I were talking, Davinus grabbed the young Selena’s hand.

Davinus picked up a candlestick and broke the window.

Davinus and Selena escaped through the broken window.
“Get them! Catch those two brats!”
The soldiers hurriedly chased them, but perhaps because of their heavy armor?

They immediately slipped and fell on the snowy ground.

As I watched the soldier groan in pain, Selena asked.
“What exactly did we do wrong to deserve that?”
At her words, I turned my head.
