Marineford!

SLAM!

Garp's fist crashed down on the desk, the impact sending a nearby water glass toppling over.

Water spilled across the polished wood, reflecting his deeply conflicted face. He was fighting a losing battle to suppress his anger, his features tight with a mixture of fury and profound anguish.

"Is this really necessary?? I can't accept this!"

Facing the impeccably calm Sengoku, Garp's legendary composure finally shattered.

The source of Garp's violent reaction was Sengoku's latest directive: he intended to publicly reveal Ace's true lineage.

The initial decision to publicly execute Ace had already cost Garp nights of sleep and his appetite.

But this? This felt like a deliberate twist of the knife, deepening the agonizing guilt clawing at his gut.

Years ago, Garp had honored a dying rival's request. He had saved Ace, entrusting the infant to the mountain bandit Dadan, shielding him from the World Government's wrath.

If Ace hadn't set sail—if he hadn't chosen to paint a target on his back by tearing up the Grand Line, but had instead lived the quiet, ordinary life Garp had prayed for—that secret might have died with them.

But fate had other plans. Ace took to the sea and quickly carved out a notorious reputation.

Driven by his own unyielding sense of "Justice," Sengoku had eventually uncovered the truth and reported Ace's identity to the World Government.

Following that revelation, the Five Elders had extended an offer for Ace to join the Seven Warlords.

That offer had been a hard-won compromise, fiercely negotiated by Sengoku, Garp, and Tsuru to give the boy an out. If Ace had accepted the amnesty, his past—and his bloodline—could have been overlooked.

But Ace had flatly refused.

Once Ace was captured, and Sengoku finalized the plans for a public execution, Garp knew exactly what his old friend was orchestrating.

Yet, as a Marine burdened with the mantle of "Justice," Garp had no authority to interfere.

So, he had remained silent.

Garp knew the bitter truth.

If Ace were merely the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, he might not be facing the executioner's blade.

Just look at the monsters rotting in Level 6 of Impel Down. Every single one of them had committed atrocities that dwarfed Ace's rap sheet. Yet, they were merely imprisoned, not publicly slaughtered.

So why did Ace have to die?

Because the blood of Pirate King Gol D. Roger flowed through his veins. He was Roger's son, and the World Government was obsessed with severing that bloodline at the root.

And because he was a Whitebeard commander, the World Government intended to use his death as the catalyst to annihilate the Whitebeard Pirates.

Ace was nothing more than a pawn in a much larger game.

Watching this unfold, Garp was being torn apart from the inside.

And now?

Now, Sengoku wanted to broadcast Ace's lineage to the world, effectively branding Garp a traitor to the promise he had made to Roger.

How could Garp not be devastated?

"This public execution is not simply about putting down a pirate. It holds profound significance for the future trajectory of the world. Therefore..."

Behind his glasses, Sengoku's gaze was cold and unflinching.

Hanging on the wall behind him was a plaque bearing the calligraphy for "Reigning Justice." It wasn't just a motto; it was Sengoku's absolute conviction.

Garp knew exactly what Sengoku was going to say. Gritting his teeth, unwilling to hear the rest, he turned on his heel and stormed toward the door.

The man known as "Sengoku the Buddha."

He was the supreme authority of the Marines. From his youth, he had maintained an unwavering faith in the absolute righteousness of the World Government's commands.

He had ascended to his current rank by flawlessly executing every mission assigned to him.

To him, anyone who dared question the Government—even a comrade—was an enemy to be neutralized. His loyalty bordered on zealotry.

In his eyes, a Marine who disobeyed orders was no Marine at all.

This rigid dogma was the driving force behind his every action.

On the surface, Sengoku and Garp were cut from the same cloth. They were legends, brothers-in-arms.

But one was a "Resourceful General," and the other was a "Man of Action." Fundamentally, their core philosophies were galaxies apart.

"Garp. You are a Marine. You carry the burden of Justice on your shoulders. Do not forget that!" Sengoku's voice cut through the air like a whip.

Garp paused at the doorway, his back to the Fleet Admiral. "It's the inability to easily separate those feelings that makes us human, Sengoku."

"Absolute Justice... sometimes it drives a man mad!"

He threw the door open and left.

Sengoku sat in silence, though he didn't let Garp's words linger in his mind.

Impel Down.

Level 1.2!

Jin landed smoothly atop the massive, shattered boulder.

At the sound of his arrival, a momentary, stunned silence fell over the chaotic battlefield.

Magellan frowned, quickly putting the pieces together.

"Are you the King?"

"Sengoku sent me to help clean up this little riot," Jin replied easily.

Magellan let out a heavy sigh of relief.

But then, confusion set in. "What happened on Level 1?"

"Hey, hey! Enough talking!"

Byrnndi World bellowed, stepping forward.

He hadn't earned the moniker "World Destroyer" for nothing. He had a reputation for utterly annihilating anything that stood in his path.

He commanded a bounty of 500 million Berries. His philosophy was simple: if it moves, break it.

Without hesitation, he hoisted a massive chunk of rubble, weighing easily over a hundred pounds, and hurled it straight at Jin.

"More-More: Hundred-Fold Impact!"

In mid-air, the boulder suddenly swelled to a hundred times its original size, its destructive momentum magnifying proportionally.

The Paramecia More-More Fruit!

It allowed the user to multiply the size and speed of anything they touched by up to a hundred times. They could even apply the effect to their own physical speed.

Facing the incoming, house-sized projectile, Jin didn't even flinch. He simply raised his leg and delivered a devastating upward kick.

BOOM!

CRACK... CRACK... CRACK...

A deafening roar echoed through the corridor.

The point of impact shattered first, spiderwebbing outward until the massive boulder violently exploded into dust.

World wasn't surprised.

If his opponent went down that easily, it would be boring.

"Not bad, kid!" World grinned. "Why don't you come work for me?"

Jin chuckled dryly. "Work for you? A captain who got betrayed by his own crew... do you really think you still have the right to call yourself a captain?"

Those words hit a nerve. World's eyes instantly blazed with homicidal fury.

"You're dead!"

Years ago, World had been cornered by the Marines after being forced to attack a Celestial Dragon's ship.

The battle had been a stalemate, until the World Government's Cipher Pol intervened, using underhanded tactics. They had incited a mutiny among his crew, leading World to believe that even his most trusted commanders had stabbed him in the back.

Jin's taunt had ripped open a very old, very raw wound.

"DIE!"

World launched himself into the air.

"More-More: Hundred-Fold Speed!"

SWISH!

He materialized in front of Jin instantaneously!

His arm, coated in pitch-black Armament Haki, drove forward, delivering a punch the size of a wrecking ball with terrifying velocity.

CLANG!

The blow landed with sickening force.

Because Jin hadn't even tried to dodge. His physique, refined by multiple evolutionary leaps, was akin to tempered steel. It was absurdly resilient.

In terms of pure physical durability, even Loki of Elbaf would have been envious.

What??

He took the punch head-on without flinching?

World was stunned.

Jin drew Shusui in a blur of motion.

With a sickening SHLUCK, the black blade tore through World's defenses, sending him flying backward with a horrific gash across his torso.

"This guy..."

Behind them, Bullet and Redfield's expressions shifted drastically.

This man was clearly operating on a level far beyond the standard monsters of Level 6.

It took only a single strike to put World down.

Even if World was rusty from decades in cryogenic stasis, his baseline combat power was still easily commander-tier.

Redfield saw it clearly.

World's Haki defense had been practically useless against that blade, tearing like wet tissue paper.

"Why don't you both come at me together?"

Jin challenged, leveling Shusui at Bullet and Redfield.

"Arrogant punk!"
