The Demon Emperor was Saint Emperor

Chapter 446 - 338: Two Worlds (Part 2)

So I’ve become a daughter slave?

Not that being a daughter slave is bad, but doing it this way makes his family rank seem a bit low.

Of course, the fact that Little Youli has the sub-soul of the Guardian Demon God hidden within her is confirmed, but the situation within Little Yuna is still uncertain, at least it’s said to be undead.

The Light God King might have the ability to seize the container of the Destruction Demon God, but the Destruction Demon God, as the former King of the First Demon God who overshadowed the Guardian Demon God, is definitely not one to be trifled with.

Could He just watch helplessly as the container He prepared in the Lower Realm gets occupied by the Light God King, and then only glare at Him?

The Destruction Demon God is the terrifying demon head that commanded His followers to destroy countless Great Worlds, certainly not a comedic role. If He allowed the Light God King to occupy the container without an outburst, then He must have either a fallback plan or a hidden hand.

Regardless of which situation, Lynn is the one in a difficult position, as neither the Demon God King nor the Light God King has descended to the Human World yet, and both children are under his care!

"It’s still early, why did you arrive so soon?"

At the old residence of the Light God King where the ritual was being held, the "bride squad" that arrived earlier than Lynn all looked at him with confusion.

With his ability to traverse the Miracle World in just a blink, there was no real need for him to arrive so early, even though he was the "host" of this grand event. But could a True God really show up early to greet and entertain guests?

There’s plenty of people to do that because he has many wives, so naturally, there are many fathers-in-law, most of whom are notable figures who wouldn’t treat guests poorly.

"This is a major life event for us, shouldn’t I take it seriously?"

Lynn said as he walked into the crowd, grabbing whoever he caught first to hug, without worrying about who it was, just going up and giving a couple of kisses.

Accompanying his wives were also Little Youli and Little Yuna, along with Gugi and Little Flower, and an eagle named Xue’Er strolling along.

These little ones weren’t here without purpose; they all had their tasks.

Little Youli and Little Yuna were to serve as flower girls, Gugi and Little Flower as flower cats, and even Xue’Er would temporarily act as a floral bird.

By comparison, the conferring ceremony here in the Miracle World might be more lively than that in the Demon Realm... though maybe not in terms of liveliness per se, as plenty of demons showed up over there too, it’s just the Miracle World’s vibe feels right.

In the Demon Realm, a lot of guests came, which created the appearance of liveliness, whereas in the Miracle World everything was in order, not only were guests present, but also relatives, friends, comrades, colleagues, and among others, additionally, adorable daughters and cute pets.

Whereas in the Demon Realm, forget about the extra trimmings, without daughters and pets, it already felt significantly behind, not to mention, out of the fifteen consorts, in the Miracle World, at least half had fathers-in-law to help greet the guests, but in the Demon Realm...

Ahem, with fifteen Imperial Consorts, you couldn’t muster up a single dad...

The worst part was that among these fifteen demon race fathers-in-law, more than half had been killed by him.

Only with the Joyful Witches did he have no vendetta, though it’s hard to say, since their biological fathers may have died long ago and were never found in the first place.

Enchanting Demon Race tended to be like this, often knowing only the mother and not the father, due to understandable reasons.

Lynn fought against demons for over a decade, slaying countless of them, who knows if he killed the anonymous fathers of the Joyful Witches.

Thankfully, all his demon race wives did not pursue vengeance for their fathers’ deaths, of whom Ilya simply didn’t know, while the Seven Great Demon Kings were disinclined to seek revenge.

As Proud Demon King Ilya used during their first meeting —

Killer of my father, benefactor.

Currently, the Seven Great Demon Kings are followers of the Guardian Demon God, whereas the previous generation’s Seven Great Demon Kings were followers of the Destruction Demon God.

Though differing beliefs have been enough to cause enmity between fathers and daughters, the fact that they can regard Lynn as the killer benefactor is not merely due to simple heretic differences between them.

Essentially, the seven witches are relatively kindhearted demons, inherently capable of love. They couldn’t tolerate their fathers’ cruelty and bloodthirstiness and resented their disregard for life.

Strengthened demon races, in their view, should offer protection to weaker beings, rather than see them as mere flesh and blood nourishment.

Possibly, during the upbringing of Ilya and the other seven witches, other causes led to the rift, estrangement, and eventual enmity between the seven father-daughter pairs..."

But given the results, the process seems less important.

Anyway, in the eyes of the current Seven Great Demon Kings, if the previous generation didn’t respect life, then their lives weren’t worthy of respect.

Similarly, those actual Demons who followed them in their path of destruction were the same, so when Lynn asked them to hand over the demon invaders for disposal, they didn’t even hesitate, because these demons deserved death, and their only living value was to convert into devoted followers of the Guardian Demon God Lord, providing Him with the Power of Faith.

But compelling heretics to change faith is inherently difficult, and even more so to create a group of devout followers, so when it came time to "sacrifice" them, the Seven Great Demon Kings weren’t overly distressed, but rather felt a slight pleasure.

Lynn didn’t initially know this, only discovering it after developing a loving relationship with the Demon King wives.

He could understand their perspective, this is the helplessness of lawful good born into chaotic evil homes, similar to a naive child from an islander tribe discovering his grandfather was part of the invading army or even their commanding officer, making it difficult to regard him as closest kin.

"I know you care a lot! But can you not ruin our makeup? You’re kissing so hard, leaving marks!"

While Lynn was thinking of these things, Sifrin, whom he was enthusiastically kissing, became a bit upset. She had carefully groomed herself for this grand ceremony, looking her best ever, but Lynn’s ’muah muah’ left her cheeks wobbly, unsure if her makeup was smudged.

Normally, if Lynn initiated affection with her, she’d be quite happy, but not today, at least not until the ceremony is over. She didn’t want to uniquely stand out among the beautiful Divine Consorts.

Usually, she wouldn’t mind being silly or carefree, acting like a fool, but today and on the wedding day she must be elegant and radiant, poised and multifaceted, because these grand ceremonies would be photographed. She plans to record them for her future children.

"Don’t worry, during the ceremony, just hide behind Xiya and Hilvy when they appear; no one will pay attention to you then."

Hearing Sifrin’s slightly discontented grumbling, Lynn unrelentingly kissed her soft cheek once again before letting her go.

Not only did this leave kiss marks, it left a faint imprint of teeth, prompting Sifrin to hurriedly find a small mirror to check, puffing her cheeks in frustration. Because of her substantial anger, she puffed her cheeks so much it made the marks flat...
