Chapter 152 -: 151 The world is not biased after all.
Rosalina’s brows drew together as she looked at his bright red, embarrassed face.
She glanced down at herself next.
Julius had already covered his eyes with his fingers, but he kept peeking through the gaps and turning even redder each time.
Rosalina let out a soft chuckle. She finally took a good look at her own body.
"Huh? Why are they bigger than I remember?" she mumbled.
She stood up slowly, her eyes moving over every part of herself.
Her legs were longer and slimmer, her waist had a nice curve, and her chest felt fuller.
Her whole body had grown bigger and more womanly.
"Even my voice?" she muttered, touching her lips.
It used to sound a bit forced when she tried to sound mature, but now it came out soft, deep, and a little alluring on its own.
"Hmm? Not bad," she said quietly to herself. She hadn’t expected the ten-year lifespan loss to work like this.
Her eyes then shifted to Julius.
Except for his torn underwear, which had ripped from the sudden muscle growth, his body had changed a lot.
He looked bigger and stronger everywhere, with clear muscles showing under his skin.
His face had matured too, sharper and more handsome.
He was still covering his eyes but peeking every few seconds. Seeing him like that made her chuckle again.
"Why are you feeling so shy all of a sudden?" she asked, tapping on the ring on her finger.
Long clothes appeared right away. She threw one set at Julius.
"It’s a pity I couldn’t see you completely naked, but you still look fine," she added with a teasing grin.
She didn’t pull out their old spare clothes. Those would never fit anymore.
Even the bigger robes they had worn had torn apart from the sudden growth.
"Now hurry up and change into these," she said as she wrapped the new clothes around herself. "Or do you want me to dress you?"
Julius peeked again. This time he couldn’t look away.
Rosalina shook her long black hair once, letting it fall smoothly down her back.
Her height had increased, and her face... damn. It had grown longer with a sleek jawline and a fine, graceful neck.
Her eyes looked sharper, and her collarbones stood out in a way that made her look stunning.
Julius’s nose twitched. Two warm streams of blood dripped down from it.
’Damn... Was that ten-year lifespan thing a penalty or a reward?’ he wondered.
He finally stood up and quickly wrapped the clothes around his own body, trying not to stare too much while his face stayed burning hot.
Rosalina tied her long black hair into a loose knot.
Even then, the thick strands still spilled down and covered most of her back.
She gave her neck a small, smooth jerk and stepped closer to him.
"I can’t believe just a few months ago you were stalking me, begging to marry me and have my children," she said, her voice full of teasing. She walked behind him and grabbed his messy hair.
"Now look at you, getting all shy just because I was naked? How are you going to give me children if you act like this? Tsk!"
She clicked her tongue and started tying his hair into a neat knot.
"Well..." Julius began, but the words got stuck in his throat.
The second he realized she had been completely naked against him, his mind had gone blank.
His body felt like it was on fire, hormones rushing everywhere.
He had no idea how to calm down. Even now they were still going wild.
"Ahem!" He let out an awkward cough. His cheeks burned bright red.
"You... you looked so good... ahem." He coughed again and couldn’t finish the sentence.
Inside his head, he kept complaining. ’I don’t know what’s weird anymore. We just skipped years of growing up, and she has zero shyness at all.’
In the comics and novels he read, the girl was always the shy one who turned red.
But Rosalina?
She had been like this since the day she confessed.
She kissed him whenever she felt like it, slept wrapped around him all night like a body pillow, and sometimes even walked into the bathroom while he was bathing.
He couldn’t even take a proper naked bath anymore. It was really something.
"But anyway... Once we get married, you’ll see my manliness!"
Julius lifted his chin high, trying to look proud right as Rosalina finished tying his hair.
"Oh really?" She raised one eyebrow, a playful smirk on her lips. "Then should we get married right now?"
"Whoa, whoa, wait!" Julius stepped back fast, his hands waving wildly.
"Our bodies grew up, but you are the only real adult here... or not?" he thought.
Before he died he was seventeen, and in this world you became an adult at sixteen.
He started thinking hard about it.
Rosalina didn’t wait for him to finish. "Anyway, what’s the news?"
"I heard the message," Rosalina said. "Uriel said that geezer has entered the tower..."
Rosalina’s words snapped Julius out of his wild thoughts in an instant.
"You heard it?" he asked, eyes wide with surprise.
Rosalina gave him a smile that wasn’t really a smile.
Truth was, she had woken up long before he did.
The moment she opened her eyes and found herself completely naked, pressed warmly against his body, she had simply stayed there.
It felt too comfortable, too nice. So she kept still and waited for him to wake up.
"Anyway... we can’t stay here long," she said. She took a step forward.
"We killed the Love Guardian, and we don’t even have the.."
Her foot hit something hard.
"Clink!"
Rosalina paused and looked down.
The second her eyes landed on it, they widened like two big dinner plates.
It was a small square box. Inside the box floated a tiny, glowing universe.
She bent down slowly and picked it up with both hands.
Her fingers trembled. Her eyes stayed locked on it. .
She had heard Julius describe the key before, a square box with a whole universe trapped inside.
"Darling," she said, her voice shaking with excitement.
She turned toward him, holding the box out carefully.
"I think that trash’s luck just got passed over to us..."
