Athanasia: My Hacker System

The moment the sledgehammer hit John, the lady who impersonated Nikolas took out a dark green dagger with a weird serrated edge and stabbed it deep into her flank.

"Btch!" she roared, "I planned to let you die fast, but now I'll make sure you'll get tortured to death…"

BOOM!

She didn't even complete her words when all of a sudden, an explosion appeared from her, enough to knock Elena away with the dagger deeply inside her.

John was awake, and even before he stood up, he instantly used his Logic Bomb ability. He didn't need to ask, as what he heard, what he saw, was enough to tell him everything.

Even before his mind would fully wake, he knew Elena was under attack. Slowly, he rose to his feet, while the lady who attacked Elena was thrown in the air, rolled for a few metres, before standing up with a deep wound over her chest.

"Ouch!" she growled, "That hurts, bad boy!"

Seeing this made John narrow his eyes. Instantly, he examined the lady in front and the one to the side. And then he realised why his attack didn't kill her.

"They are strong," he lowly muttered, as in front of him, each had over one hundred blue special codes, with even a couple of yellow codes.

"Cough!"

From behind, Elena wanted to get up, but her arms failed her. She fell to the ground, vomiting weird black blood that looked bad news.

John turned to her and examined her body, and there he spotted a torrent of dark green codes, bordering on black, storming through her body.

"What a way to wake a man up," he narrowed his eyes, as up front, two deadly enemies were about to attack, and behind Elena was about to die.

THUD!

Then a body fell from high above, as if a balloon got deflated.

"Ben?"

John raised an eyebrow. A moment ago, he saw the strong tornado of Ben attacking a third lady. But now, Ben was the one falling on the ground, and that lady gracefully descended and landed next to the other two.

And she was no less weak than the other two ladies.

"Mark explained a lot about your abilities," the lady who had just landed spat to the ground, "but it seems he failed to tell us about the annoying pests on your side."

Her clothes were torn apart in most parts, only having a strip covering her chest, and another at the waist. Aside from that, only her fiery figure appeared with smooth white skin that had many slashes like wounds everywhere.

Yet none of these seemed to be that dangerous or fatal.

"What do you think?" one of the three ladies asked the other two, "Shall we toy with them for a little bit, or should we go for the kill from the first attack?"

"I got pissed off by that kid," the lady with torn clothes glared at Ben, who was now receiving something from John, a bottle, "let's kill them fast and move on to have fun with others."

"No problem."

The one to say these words wasn't any of the ladies; it was John. He calmly watched them, knowing they were perhaps the strongest enemies he had fought against so far. They were even stronger than Nikolas. And yet, he didn't even feel any pressure.

From what he saw, he could tell one thing or two about them. They might be stronger than the entire team combined, but they weren't the type to excel at strength or deadly attacks.

If not, then that lady who attacked Elena wouldn't have used a poisonous dagger and instead would have attacked using her ability.

The mere presence of the poisonous dagger was enough evidence for John. And from there, he instantly devised a plan on how to kill them.

The first thing he did was to deliver an enhanced HP Regeneration Potion to Ben. The latter looked way better the moment he gulped its contents, and slowly rose to his feet.

"Use your tornado," John slowly said, "and cover us up."

Hearing that made Ben narrow his eyes. He already told John a few words about what happened while he was asleep, yet he never thought John to be as suicidal as Elena.

Yet he was mistaken.

"Are you going to fight them alone?" Ben was shocked, "This is suicidal!"

"Not in the slightest," John took out his sword, "just do as I said, and don't intervene. Keep a safe distance around the battlefield, and if you can, deliver these potions to Elena till I'm done."

He handed him a few extra enhanced HP Regeneration Potions to use for himself and Elena. Even if these weren't suited to detoxify the poison running in her body, it was enough to keep her alive long enough till he was done with these ladies.

"Hahaha!"

Hearing what the two kids in front of them said made the three adult ladies laugh.

"Did you hear that, sisters? That kid is funny, hahaha!"

"How about this," another lady evilly chuckled, "let them do whatever they want, and we can have some fun torturing them and crushing any pathetic hope they have."

The third lady with torn clothes wore a conflicted expression for a moment, before she finally grinned savagely.

"I like that!"

She then turned to Ben, before adding, "Hey, you, once I'm done with this funny kid, I'll take you to a room and have fun till you die."

Ben didn't know why, but hearing these words made his body shiver. Yet a calm pat on his shoulder from John settled his fear.

"Just go, and watch how I'm going to kill them."

Ben never fought by John's side before, only heard stories. Yet for a reason, hearing John's words felt quite relieving. It felt like a supreme figure was reassuring him.

So Ben moved, activated his tornado ability, covered up the entire battlefield, and waited.

"Hahaha, how amusing that being young makes you feel impulsive, daring, and quite stupid."

The lady with torn clothes looked at everything happened before bursting out in laughter.

"You just sent the only one able to fight to the side to watch? That's hilarious! That's a super level of stupidity! Hahaha!"
