Inside Heaven Dog Mountain.
Upon seeing the enormous figure of the Heaven Devouring Beast in the form of Little Black, the two yellow dogs swallowed their saliva, knowing that even if the black dog in front of them wasn’t the Heaven Devouring Beast, it was certainly connected to him. This was not something two mere soldiers could decide.
"Esteemed Senior, while we cannot yet confirm whether you are the Heaven Devouring Beast, please meet with our current leader first," one of the yellow dogs said.
Little Black agreed with the two yellow dogs, and soon after, the group arrived at a uniquely shaped mountain. The entire mountain resembled a black dog lying prostrate on the ground.
As Little Black saw this scene, distant memories flooded his mind.
Wang Yufan, standing nearby, knew that Little Black must have recalled past events. This was, after all, his hometown and a place of sorrow in his heart.
After Little Black regained his composure, led by the two yellow dogs, he walked into a massive cave entrance within the mountain.
"Huang Ji, Huang Ba, why have you brought outsiders in?"
A large dog with blue and white markings stared with fierce eyes at Little Black and Wang Yufan as they entered.
"Protector Lan, the situation is like this."
The yellow dog who had led the way explained the whole story.
However, halfway through, the large blue and white marked dog, referred to as Protector Lan, roared.
"You two fools, how could you be so easily deceived by outsiders? Our Heaven Devouring Beast went to the Upper Realm a hundred years ago. Now someone is impersonating him, and you two can’t even tell the difference.
This Protector believes you two should go guard our dung pit; that place is more suitable for you."
Upon hearing this, the two yellow dogs trembled slightly. Guarding the dung pit was the work of their lowest-ranking clan members. They remembered that a clan member had once fallen into the dung pit and never climbed out. What was that clan member’s name again? Tai Di, was it?
But the enormous illusory image of the Heaven Devouring Beast that Little Black had displayed earlier made them unable to disbelieve.
Little Black saw that the two black dogs were in a difficult position, so he spoke:
"You don’t need to trouble them; I asked them to bring us in."
Hearing Little Black speak, Protector Lan’s eyes darted around, scrutinizing Little Black. Upon closer inspection, there truly were some similarities to their Heaven Devouring Beast.
"Speak, who sent you to impersonate our Heaven Devouring Beast? Was it the Xuan Lang Mountain?" Protector Lan glared at Little Black.
Little Black saw that this so-called Protector Lan was like a clown, as humans would say. He didn’t want to waste more time with this boring Protector Lan.
"Call Little King over. I have something to tell him," Little Black said directly.
"What? What did you just say? I didn’t quite catch it. Huang Ji, Huang Ba. What did he just say?"
One of the dogs named Huang Ba said.
"Protector Lan, he just said he wants you to call Ancestor Little King."
"Oh, so he wants me to call Ancestor Little King, hahaha. Do you think just because you look a bit like our Heaven Devouring Beast, you can do whatever you want? Even our leader Roaring Moon wouldn’t usually invite our Ancestor Little King. Ancestor Little King is from the same era as our Heaven Devouring Beast. And you want to see our Senior Little King?
Clan members, seize these invading outsiders and this renegade."
After Protector Lan finished speaking, dozens of dogs wearing armor immediately rushed out from all directions. Each of them bared their fangs, glaring at Little Black and Wang Yufan.
"Young Master, what’s going on? What are they gibbering about? I don’t understand, and it seems our situation isn’t looking good," Li Meng’er, standing next to Wang Yufan, said.
Wang Yufan smiled and said.
"It’s nothing, you don’t need to know. Just watch. With Little Black here, nothing can go wrong."

Looking at the armored dogs pressing in from all sides, Little Black also became a little angry. It was one thing for them to disrespect him, but his master was right in front of him.
"Woof." A single bark.
A massive sound wave directly spread out from Little Black, radiating in all directions.
"What? How is this possible?" Protector Lan was halfway through his sentence when he was directly swept away by the sound wave, slamming into the cave wall.
Just then, a majestic voice came directly from the depths of the cave.
"What beast dares to cause trouble in my Heaven Dog Mountain?"
Upon hearing this voice, Protector Lan shouted excitedly.
"Leader, these outsiders want to force their way into our Heaven Dog Mountain. Please take them down quickly."
After Protector Lan finished speaking, a huge black dog figure appeared before everyone. This black dog looked very similar to Little Black; the only difference was a moon-shaped white patch on its forehead.
Indeed, it was Roaring Moon, the current leader of Heaven Dog Mountain, a Tenth-Order Demon Beast who had just entered the Tribulation Transcension stage. Little Black was stunned for a moment when Roaring Moon appeared. He had just felt as if his good brother, who had once ambushed and betrayed him, had emerged.
And Roaring Moon, who had come out, was also stunned. He saw the black dog in front of him, who looked very much like himself, and thought it was his father, the Heaven Devouring Beast, who had returned.

Little Black looked at Roaring Moon, who was even taller than himself, and said, "Are you Li Huang’s offspring?"
Roaring Moon froze when he heard the name Li Huang. Only Ancestor Little King and he knew that name; how could this dog know it?
"Speak, who exactly are you? Why do you know my father’s name?" Roaring Moon asked angrily.
"Hahaha, who am I? I am Li Huang’s elder brother, Tun Tian." Little Black said.
"Impossible, absolutely impossible. My father never told me he had an elder brother; that’s just a rumor. You shouldn’t spread alarmist talk here. Besides, even if you are my father’s elder brother, you cannot bring outsiders into Heaven Dog Mountain and act so recklessly." Roaring Moon said loudly.
"You, ah, it’s not that I’m bringing outsiders. Heaven Dog Mountain was originally my place. Do I need proof to return to my own home? Since there are some who don’t understand the rules in my home, then this Lord has the duty to deal with them. Is there anything wrong with that?" Little Black said.
"You are presumptuous." Roaring Moon said, then directly launched a palm strike towards Little Black.
