Disaster-Level Player Is Too Good at Broadcasting

Chapter 88 - 88: « Blue Blood [4] »

The porters from the Blue Dragon Guild stopped moving. Their faces turned white. One of them, a man named Park, opened his mouth. His lips were shaking.

"I remember this," Park said.

Min-ho looked at him. Park was a veteran porter. He had survived the first disaster that hit the Blue Dragon Guild.

"What do you mean?" Min-ho asked.

"Jin-ho said this. During the private interview after he got better. He lost his arms and legs to a thing in the dark. He described these eyes. He said the eyes were blue and far apart. This is the thing that wiped out the elite team."

Because Park said this, the atmosphere became heavy. The Rankers heard him. Leonhardt Weiss gripped his sword tighter. Hyeonwoo raised his staff.

The thing in the dark moved forward. It entered the light of the lanterns.

It was a tiger. It was massive. Its fur was blue. It had black stripes all over its body. The fur on its cheeks was long and thick. It had fur on its ears too. Its eyes were pure blue. They did not have pupils.

The tiger's tail was strange. The end of the tail was not solid. It looked like black smoke. The same smoke came off its paws. Its claws were white and long. They were longer than daggers.

Yechan looked at the beast. He was sweating. He looked at Woonhee. Woonhee was a player with taming and summoning skills.

"Woonhee-ssi," Yechan whispered. "You are a tamer. Can you use a skill? Can you tame that thing?"

Woonhee did not look at him. She was staring at the tiger. Her hands were trembling.

"No," Woonhee said. "Even if I had a constellation with taming abilities as my sponsor, it is impossible. That thing will not submit. It is too strong. My skills would fail immediately. Because of that, I would probably die from the backlash."

The tiger opened its mouth. It did not roar. It made a low sound in its throat. The sound made the floor vibrate.

The fight began because the tiger moved.

It was fast. It did not look fast because it was big, but it reached the front line in one second.

Sasha Kim reacted first. She was an artillery specialist. She pointed her heavy weapons at the tiger.

Multiple explosions hit the tiger's chest. Smoke and fire covered the beast. Sasha did not stop. She kept firing. She used 20% of her mana in ten seconds.

The smoke cleared. The tiger was still standing. Its blue fur was slightly singed. There were small holes in its skin from the shrapnel. But it did not back down. The wounds did not bleed red. They leaked blue vapor. The tiger did not seem to feel pain.

Because the artillery failed, the tiger reached Sasha. It swung a claw.

Leonhardt Weiss moved in front of her. He was a Holy Knight. He raised his shield.

"『Divine Shield』!"

The white claw hit the golden shield. The sound was loud. Leonhardt's feet pushed into the ground. The stone cracked. He was strong, but the tiger was stronger. Leonhardt's arms shook.

Kim Jin saw this. He was a player who used clones. He activated his skill.

"『Phantom Division』!"

Ten copies of Kim Jin appeared. They all held swords. They ran at the tiger from different sides. They began to strike the tiger's legs.

I watched Kim Jin. He was attacking fast. But I saw his mana bar. It was dropping very fast. Maintaining ten clones against a high-level beast was hard. Each clone that the tiger swiped away cost him more MP.

"I can't hold this for long!" Kim Jin shouted.

Hyeonwoo tried to help. He was a mage. He pointed his staff at the tiger's head.

"『Lightning Bolt』!"

Yellow lightning hit the tiger's ear. The fur burned. The tiger turned its head. It looked at Hyeonwoo. It ignored the clones. It knew who the dangerous mage was.

The tiger jumped. It jumped over Leonhardt.

Minseok, the rookie, saw the movement. He used his "Gifted Eyes." He looked for a weakness. He looked at the mana flow in the tiger's body.

「There is no core. The mana is everywhere. This is because it is a creature of the Abyss. It does not have a heart.」

Minseok felt despair. If there was no core, they had to destroy the whole body.

"Leonhardt-nim! Watch out!" Minseok yelled.

The tiger landed. It did not land on the ground. It landed on two of Kim Jin's clones. They vanished instantly. Kim Jin coughed. His MP hit 5%. He fell to his knees.

The other players joined the fight. They used swords, axes, and spells. They hit the tiger hundreds of times. Sasha Kim kept firing her artillery. The tiger's body was covered in wounds. It was pierced in many places.

But the tiger did not slow down. It did not stop. Because it was an Abyssal beast, it did not have the limitations of a living thing. It kept moving. It swiped its tail. The smoky end of the tail hit three players. They flew into the wall. Their armor broke.

Then, the tiger stopped. It stood still in the center of the room. It lowered its head.

It activated an ability.

A wave of blue energy came out of its body. It was not a physical wave. It was an aura.

[Skill: Abyssal Majesty has been activated.]

Suddenly, I could not move. My legs became heavy. My brain sent a signal to walk, but my muscles did not react. This was because the fear was too vast.

This was not normal fear. It was a primal fear. It was the fear of a small animal looking at a god. The ability shut down the nervous systems of everyone weaker than the tiger.

The pressure came next. It was heavy. It felt like ten tons of lead were on my head.

I saw the players fall.

First, they were standing. Then, they were forced to their knees. Their knees hit the stone hard. I heard the sound of bones cracking. After that, they were pushed further. Their chests hit the ground. Their faces were pressed into the black sludge.

I was on the ground too. I tried to push up with my hands. The pressure pushed back. My arms shook and then collapsed. I was flat on the floor. I could not even lift my chin.

The fear was too much for some.

The porters from the Europe Coalition were near the back. They were not combatants. Their mental defense was low.

The fear entered their minds. It showed them things. It showed them their own deaths. It showed them an eternity of darkness. Because the fear was so overbearing, their brains looked for an escape.

The only escape was death.

I heard a wet sound. I moved my eyes slightly to the left. A European porter had taken his own utility knife. He did not fight the tiger. He used the knife on his own throat. He did not hesitate. He did it because he wanted the fear to stop. He wanted to escape the torture of the pressure.

Another porter followed. He used a heavy strap to choke himself. They were choosing to die. This was because the tiger's ability made life more painful than death.

The tiger walked slowly. It was not under pressure. It walked through the fallen players. It stepped on a player's hand. I heard the fingers break. The player did not scream. He could not even open his mouth.

Leonhardt Weiss was trying to pray. His lips moved, but no sound came out. His golden armor was dull.

Hyeonwoo's glasses were cracked. He was staring at the ground. His mana was drained.

Minseok was crying. The tears mixed with the sludge on the floor. He was a rookie. He had never felt this. He thought he was going to die here.

The tiger stopped in front of Gunnar Volkov.

Gunnar was flat on the ground like everyone else. But his body was different. His muscles were twitching.

I heard a sound. It was a groan. It was deep and full of pain.

Gunnar's fingers moved. They gripped the handle of his axe, The Storm-Biter.

Because of the pressure, blood began to leak from Gunnar's nose. It was dark red. Then, blood came out of his ears. The pressure was trying to burst his internal organs.

Gunnar pushed.

His elbows left the ground. His bones made a grinding sound. He was fighting the [Abyssal Majesty].

"Heh..."

A small sound came from Gunnar's mouth. He coughed. A large amount of blood hit the floor.

He pushed harder. He used the axe as a support. He moved his right leg. His knee hit the stone. The stone shattered under the pressure of his weight and the tiger's aura.

Yellow-black electricity began to crackle around Gunnar's body. It was not steady. It was flickering. It was fighting the blue aura of the tiger.

Gunnar stood up.

He was not standing straight. His back was bent. He was leaning heavily on his axe. He was covered in blood. His eyes were bloodshot. He looked like he was about to fall over.

But he was standing.

He was the only one standing in the vast, dark cavern. The tiger looked at him. Its blue eyes narrowed.

Gunnar looked at the tiger. He opened his mouth. More blood leaked out. He did not look afraid. He looked insane.

Gunnar chuckled.
