Chapter 121: A Video That Shook Valemont
A Video That Shook Valemont
When Julian D’Aurelius descended the grand staircase surrounded by four stunning women, Mike Valquin, his so-called "good brother," immediately reacted like the mischievous troublemaker he was.
His eyes lit up.
Without hesitation, he raised his phone.
Click.
A short video began recording.
Julian walked through the hall with calm steps, his black hair neat, golden eyes steady. On both sides of him stood breathtaking women whose beauty alone could dominate any gathering.
Selene Aurevale walked with quiet grace, her long black hair flowing softly behind her like silk. Her blue eyes occasionally glanced toward Julian with subtle possessiveness.
Bianca De Dominicis followed beside them, her long red hair gleaming under the chandelier lights. Her red eyes sparkled with playful confidence, as if she found the entire situation amusing.
Amara Ravenswood walked lightly nearby, petite yet charming. Her long brown hair swayed gently, her hazel eyes warm and curious as she occasionally glanced at Julian.
And Gwen Valquin walked with elegant composure, her long blonde hair shining like sunlight. Her black stockings wrapped around her slender legs, emphasizing every graceful step she took.
Four women.
One man.
The entire hall stared.
And Mike recorded everything.
Moments passed before Mike tilted the phone down, a quiet smile spreading across his face.
Few things rattled him these days, not after years of chasing nights that never led anywhere real. A moment like this just slipped past, hardly noticed.
In fact -
He admired it.
"My big brother is so outstanding," he muttered proudly.
"It’s normal for him to have a few more wives."
Faster than a blink, the clip went up on his Snapora profile.
A note appeared beneath it too.
"I thought I was the most charming guy in Valemont, but compared to my big brother, I’m miles behind."
Within seconds—
The video exploded.
The internet loved only two things.
Handsome men.
Beautiful women.
And this video had both.
Four extraordinary beauties.
One strikingly handsome man.
The comments began flooding in like a tidal wave.
"Damn, is this guy a beast? Four girls at once?"
"What a bastard! We can’t even get one girlfriend and he has FOUR?!"
"Brother is so handsome! Those girls are incredible!"
"I refuse to believe this man is human!"
Jealousy.
Envy.
Shock.
The comment section turned into a battlefield of emotions.
Meanwhile—
Far away from the lively ballroom where the commerce meeting was being held, another man watched the video with completely different emotions.
-------
A quiet space tucked within the Jones family’s medical wing held Evan, resting on crisp white sheets. The air stayed still, broken only by soft breaths near the doorway. Light from a shaded lamp pooled around the edges of the mattress. A figure in scrubs adjusted an IV without speaking. Time moved slow beneath the hum of hidden machines.
A sharp clean scent hovered just beneath the air. It pricked at your nose when you stepped close.
Bandages covered his body tight. Wrapped up he lay, still.
Though his Solar Body fixed much inside, the marks left by Julian’s harsh strike across his backside kept burning. Pain pulsed there, slow and sharp, refusing to fade.
Still healing fast as he was, the cuts outside took more than a few days yet.
Evan lay bored on the bed, scrolling through short videos on his phone.
As the Obsidian Kings, he had never been interested in games.
Instead, he enjoyed watching short videos.
Beautiful women.
Luxury lifestyles.
Occasionally he even found interesting targets.
But today—
One particular video appeared in his feed.
When Evan saw the first frame—
His expression froze.
Then his pupils shrank violently.
The video showed Julian walking confidently through a hall... surrounded by four women.
Selene.
Bianca.
Amara.
And Gwen.
For a moment—
The entire world seemed to go silent.
Then—
The veins on Evan’s forehead bulged violently.
His breathing turned heavy.
With a furious roar, he jumped off the bed.
"I finally found someone I liked..."
"And you ruined everything!"
"Damn it!"
His voice echoed through the hospital room like thunder.
Rage surged through his body.
The phone in his hand suddenly slammed against the floor.
CRACK.
The screen shattered instantly.
Fragments scattered across the ground.
But the destruction of the phone did nothing to calm him.
His chest rose and fell violently.
The women he had carefully noticed...
The women he planned to conquer...
He hadn’t even begun courting them yet.
And Julian already had them surrounding him?
Worse—
Bianca De Dominicis and Selene Aurevale were openly holding Julian’s arms in front of the entire elite circle of Valemont.
That treatment—
That attention—
That admiration—
That should have been his.
Evan clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
His eyes burned with fury.
At that exact moment—
A sharp pain shot through his lower body.
His face twisted.
"Ah—!"
The sudden movement had reopened the wound on his buttocks.
Warm liquid spread across the bandages.
Blood.
His barely healed injury had split open again.
Evan’s entire body trembled with pain.
But the pain only made his hatred burn hotter.
He gritted his teeth, his voice low and venomous.
"Julian D’Aurelius..."
"I want you dead."
His hand instinctively reached for his phone.
He planned to contact the Scythe Division immediately.
They had already been sent to kill Julian.
But now—
He wanted them to act faster.
He wanted blood.
However—
His hand froze halfway.
Because he suddenly remembered something.
The phone he needed...
Was lying on the ground.
Broken.
Shattered.
Destroyed by his own rage.
For a moment—
Evan stood there in stunned silence.
The frustration nearly drove him insane.
He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth so hard his jaw ached.
As the mighty Obsidian Kings...
When had he ever been humiliated like this?
Never.
Not once in his entire life.
