What was Ruochu doing alone at the male dorm building?

Tian Yuan gave Chen Fan a meaningful look, then nodded at Su Ruochu.
"I'll take my leave first."

This girl was grinning, her face clearly still wearing an excited smile.
"What are you smiling about?"
"Nothing much."
"Really nothing?"
It was only then that Su Ruochu, still linking arms with Chen Fan, asked with a smile.
"Don't you have anything you want to ask?"
Chen Fan played dumb.
"What would I ask?"
Su Ruochu changed the subject.
"Why didn't you come find me?"
Chen Fan didn't want to admit he had looked for her during the day, so he casually made up an excuse.
"I've been too busy since starting school, I was planning to find you tomorrow."
