Chapter 20: Fell for the Trap
July 7th.
The alarm hadn't rung yet, but Chen Fan had already gotten up.
After getting dressed, he went out to wash his face and brush his teeth.
His dad, who worked the night shift, hadn't returned yet. His mom got up even earlier than Chen Fan, and at this moment, she was making breakfast in the kitchen.
After finishing washing up, he sat on the doorstep and stared blankly at the sky.
