"Senior Dongfang," Tianming said, "I don't know how long this excursion of mine will take. I hope you'll be able to provide me with some cosmic arts. The stronger, the better. I'll need them on this journey."

"No problem. There are some void-class ones that suit you. They're the strongest cosmic arts that we've passed down through generations," Dongfang Taisheng said.

"Alright!" Tianming gave him some time to prepare them while he flew up towards the gold-crystal star. The pink glow around it was even more intense than before, a sign that it was struggling and suffering. Tianming could feel her lifeforce wearing out, but there was a spark of new life emerging from within. It wasn't easy for her to achieve a life where she could be by Tianming's side forever.

"Ling'er..." Tianming grit his teeth. "You also know what happened just now, right? I really can't predict how it'll go with the Realm of Chaos, but this is my responsibility. Don't worry. I will bring our child back."

He looked at her deeply for a moment. "As for you, please don't let this distract you. Keep holding on. Focus your everything on undergoing this tribulation. You can't lose. You have to be there for the birth of our child to name her, alright?"

Even though it was not in good taste to use that as motivation, Tianming had no choice. Love and responsibility were the only things that would give her a chance of survival. Nirvana Rebirth was simply no joke. It was the burden of her destiny.

"I hope that by the time I return, our child will be able to see a powerful and magnificent mother who's endured everything. We can't have a real home without you there. I know better than anyone else where my true home is. No matter how others try to change me, I will always stay the same," Tianming said, eyes slightly red as he looked at the crystal star.

He could feel a powerful heartbeat coming from her. That was her answer. He knew better than anyone that she had changed a lot since the start. She had undergone Nirvana Rebirth thrice and each time was fraught with great hardship, all just to survive. Yet, he could still remember the frail and meek girl who had followed him all those years ago. He was filled with nostalgia looking at the star for so long. It was as if he could feel her presence there with him, enveloping him and showing him how full of lifeforce she was.

"Wait for me to come back. I will be back! Promise!" he said, feeling like his throat was boiling. Then, he descended back to the Sun.

He returned to the Sky Palace Formation and laid out some future developments he would like carried out for establishing his dynasty in the Primordial Sands. Then, he took the void-class cosmic arts of the Flameyellow and the Archaionfiend Eyes with him along with other cultivation resources. He couldn't afford to not improve his cultivation no matter where he went.

He also made sure to bid Zi Zhen, Jiguang and Yao farewell.

"Don't make it sound like you're not coming back," Yao said at the brink of breaking out in tears.
