Lord Yue was stunned. He had thought that he was here to die as cannon fodder, yet the assignment given to him was that easy. He accepted the mission, though he still had his doubts. "No problem. I understand her."
"Pope, deal with Mi Shen Gamma. Same thing, keep him in the formation. There's no need to defeat him," Tianming said to Tian Jue.
He humphed with a smile. "Those dogshit wonderians are three persons in one, and you only asked me to take on a third of a person? I'll kill him and show you what true divine wonders are capable of!"
Lord Yue somewhat envied the pope's charisma. Though he was a Grand Xia imperial just like Empress Xia, his mindset was completely different, being a rash but decisive person who went with his gut. Empress Xia, on the other hand, feigned rationality from her ivory tower but didn't have a spine to back it up. Still, Lord Yue wondered who would deal with Mi Shen Alpha and Beta. Those two were no joke and they wouldn't just let Gamma be isolated.
Lord Yue's doubts aside, the four imperial-class fighters on the other side seemed troubled. They knew that the key to taking down the formation was defeating Tianming. Talking too much might squander this rare encounter!
Mi Shen Alpha was the most centered of his brothers, being the eldest. "I need each of you to hold one back while I deal with Li Tianming!" The four gigantic cosmic gods made their move.
"Even though I led you on a path of success, you jumped into the drain at the most crucial moment! Now, all you have waiting for you is death. Don't blame me for being heartless! It's all your choice!" Empress Xia said, charging at Lord Yue.
He looked at her coldly as a pair of moon-white primalwings emerged from his back. Like two galaxies, they glowed brightly even against the flaming backdrop of the formation. Without another word, he flapped his wings and flew away from the main battlefield.
