Chapter 4075 - Flowering and Requiem
"What the...." Ming Xingwang was taken aback. This was something that even his common sense had no answer for! How could a normal cosmic god possibly gain so much power and cross a few levels in such a short moment to the point that it made even him wary? "This simply isn't possible for cosmic gods!"
The path of cosmic gods was defined by middlekin astrons. One could tell the rough power level of a cosmic god based on the number of middlekin astrons they had, which was directly proportional to their size. Tianming was bound to have much fewer compared to Ming Xingwang, and it was clear from Tianming's size that it hadn't changed!
However, Tianming didn't even bother to give him the time to figure it out. He came charging like a wild beast! With a single move, lightning crackled all across his body. Even though he was clearly a human, his body was as tough as specters' and could even unleash multiple types of abilities, raining down storms of lightning and flame as well as floral, mountain and sea abilities. Ming Xingwang was awed by the sheer monstrosity!
All of Tianming's capabilities were enhanced by omnisentient power, Bai Ling and Bai Ye especially. They got to monopolize all the soul power that came from the omnisentient threads, making them the most potent within Tianming's arsenal!
"Since he's charging toward me, something must be off!" Ming Xingwang's deep experience told him that he did not want to underestimate Tianming. That instant, his five-kilometer-tall body began to expand audibly, down to the level of every single middlekin astron! He shot up to eight kilometers in height, sprouting three heads, six arms as the sixfold hell-ring in his chest revolved. However, he didn't summon his ghoul just yet.
After his transformation, his red hair appeared even more explosive than before. His face seemed to contort as countless spiked scales rose to cover it. Then, a shark mouth surfaced on his mask-like face. His six arms were entirely covered in hooks, while his claws looked like crescent blades!
Such was the sheer physical power of a specter deva. He seemed like a tyrant that could topple all. Not only did he have raw brute strength, but he was also armed with three godshaker-class cosmic relics, one of which was a huge cauldron that hovered around his head, covered in bloody patterns. That was Tianming's objective: the Ninefold Hell Cauldron. It was the most famous cosmic relic in the Ninefold Hellstar and was the core of the fusion and astralguard formations of the world.
The other two cosmic relics were a brush and a book. With six arms, he only needed one arm on each side to wield those relics. The brush actually doubled as a spear of death, covered in skull patterns and colored the pale white of death. The power of death and finality flowed across it. Every wave of the brush caused the nova source around it to be stained gray.
The book, on the other hand, also resembled a heavy tombstone. It was gray and seemed heavy beyond imagination. When its pages were flipped through, ghostly sounds of agony could be heard. Every single page was filled with countless images of death, and every expression of agony depicted within was of a unique flavor of agony.
Tianming had learned about these two relics long ago. They were the Brush of Dead Souls and Tome of Armageddon respectively. The fact that they came as a pair was a rather rare thing. These two relics had been passed through countless generations of people in the long history of the Ninefold Hellstar, having claimed countless lives. Ming Xingwang, armed with one relic in each hand and wearing one on his head, radiated an aura of boundless evil. Yet, all that was within Tianming's expectations.
