The sigil of the jianu ghoul king appeared on the gray coffin in Tianming's lifebound space. "It looks like some kind of sealing talisman that keeps a record of every ghoul that's been consumed...."
He hurriedly claimed the spatial rings of the devas and fed their ghouls to Eighth. The little gray coffin in the lifebound space burped out some fumes in excitement. Ostensibly, it was really happy with today's harvest. All of them were ghouls from the fifth level of hell or deeper!

Sixth's vita had taught Tianming what true trouble was like, so he wondered what kind of troublesome nature Eighth would have. "Looks like I have to keep hunting devas."
It hadn’t taken too long to deal with Princess You You. He quickly entered the cave and had Yin Chen seal the entrance before helping Moran and Zi Zhen wipe out the rest of the devas. It was a one-sided massacre. The ten-plus devas that remained didn't last long and perished. Tianming was able to claim all their spoils, the most precious of which was the Darkrot Galaxy, Yu Qing's cosmic relic, which he gave to Zi Zhen. Even specters could use weapons, after all. The gigantic blade looked comical contrasted against her petite girlish form.
"Everyone," Tianming said as he approached the little beastballs, who had witnessed him and the others wipe out the devas. They were the ones who had come to their rescue, and they already had an impression of Tianming from before. "I have the Ancestral Void Ark. Some of your friends are there, too. This location’s been exposed, so a lot of people will be coming to capture you. Do you want to risk it and come with me? You can meet up with your friends!"
"Peep! Peep!" They seemed to understand what Tianming told them. What he didn't expect was how excited and interested they seemed as they huddled around him.
"Alright, I'll bring out a net for you guys so we can save some time." With the little beastballs cooperating, things became much easier. With Yin Chen keeping watch, Tianming bagged up all the little beastballs, who excitedly chirped and plastered their large eyes to the net so that they could see everything. It almost seemed like they were being taken on a field trip. Their chirping made Ying Huo feel like it had gotten a bunch of illegitimate children out of nowhere.
"Let's go!" The rescue was much smoother sailing than he thought. "It's thanks to you two."
Moran and Zi Zhen merely smiled through the cloaking purple smoke without another word.
"The mask was especially helpful, Zi Zhen."
