The purple mask naturally worked on her, since it used to belong to her. One could only barely make out that she was a specter without any other distinguishing features.
"The Ancestral World has specters as well?" The devas that charged toward her seemed surprised.

As they were still deliberating, two powerful divine wonders manifested and completely sealed the cave. All five devas were within their area of effect.
"A wondermancer?!" Yu Qing furrowed his brows even tighter; the natives' cultivation techniques were much more complicated than he had imagined. He had thought that the flameyellow remnants would only comprise beastmasters and totemancers at most.

Wondermancers weren't necessarily wonderians, and if they couldn't even make that connection, they wouldn't think about Tian Jiu. All three of them still needed to grow their power by quite a lot before they could properly take on the entire Eightpart Pantheons.
"Hurry up or we'll finish dealing with our foes while you're still occupied by those minor goons," Moran taunted.
"Hehe...." Zi Zhen bared her teeth, anger opening another one of the ninehall eyes. Even though she was a fourth-level cosmic god, she stood six hundred meters tall, taller than the other two. In an instant, she violently slammed into the devas, lashing out with her claws and tearing off three of their arms.
Her hundred-meter-long spiked tail pierced through the chest of another deva, and with a slap of her hand she crushed the deva's three heads! It was a simple, but brutal attack. The next instant, she pulled both hands apart, ripping out the entrails of the deva and creating something of a waterworks show out of blood and meat chunks. The deva howled in pain before turning into its essence form, which she stomped on so hard that it was flattened into a disc.
"Ugh!" The deva died without being able to fight back in the least. The ghoul he’d just summoned had already been sealed inside the flat cosmic god essence before it could even fight.
