Birthing Legends: My Womb Creates SSS Monsters

Chapter 296: The First Step Toward Prometha's Fall — Part 2.

Sephiran's jaw clenched, but before he could snap back at them, Dyralfa stepped forward. She aggressively flexed her powerful arms, her thick, reptilian tail slamming heavily against the cavern floor with an alpha level thud.

"They better be tough," Dyralfa huffed, a competitive gleam in her eyes. "If they inherit those weak, flashy peak traits, they won't survive a single day of my training. And if they aren't born tough, I will personally beat them into shape until they're the fiercest soldiers in this hive!"

Standing a few paces ahead of everyone else, Arach stood like an immovable statue. His six massive arms were crossed perfectly over his chest, his glowing eyes reflecting the pulsing rhythm of the birthing sac. He wasn't participating in the bickering. Instead, his tactical mind was already working a step ahead.

Arach had already planned exactly what he needed to do the moment the sac burst. He knew how he would speak to them, how he would direct their newly formed instincts, and exactly how he would carry himself to show them what a proper, elite child of Mother looked like. He would be the pillar they looked up to, ensuring that this new batch would fall perfectly into line and serve the hive with absolute discipline.

"Every creation born from Mother's womb… is always perfect."

A loud, wet crack echoed through the chamber as a tiny fracture split the surface of the glowing membrane.

But while the others leaned in with excitement, curiosity, or competitive pride, Frovian stood completely still. His reaction was entirely different from the rest. He wasn't just waiting to welcome a new brother or sister; his sharp mind already understood exactly why this specific batch had been engineered.

He watched in grim fascination as the thick sac finally popped, the amniotic fluids splashing against the stone floor. Silhouettes tore through the membrane, stepping forward into the dim light of their new life.

Frovian closed his eyes and muttered quietly to himself, twisting an old human proverb to fit their dark reality.

"They say an enemy yesterday can be a friend today. But for us... the enemy of yesterday is now the face of our new family."

The moment the fluids cleared and the new batch stood fully revealed, the entire chamber froze. The excitement instantly died, replaced by a suffocating, collective shock. No one had expected this. Every jaw in the room dropped—except for Frovian's.

Dyralfa's tail snapped straight up as she instantly dropped into a low, lethal fighting stance, her scales bristling with raw fury.

"What the hell?!" she roared, claws gouging deep furrows into the stone beneath her feet. "Why are these fools here again?! Mother literally killed them herself! Why would she birth them?!"

Even Arach, the stoic eldest brother, felt his composure shatter. His six massive arms tensed, his glowing eyes widening as his mind raced to comprehend the impossible sight before him.

"What is the meaning of this… Mother?"

Standing in front of the Mobile Womb, blinking away the birthing fluids, were the exact same faces of the high ranking human adventurers who had brutally infiltrated their home days ago. The very invaders their mother had fought, no… got slaughtered to protect the hive were now looking back at them with docile, unblinking eyes.

They weren't invaders anymore. Woven from the stolen traits of the peaks and the genetic body of the dead, the enemies who had tried to destroy them had just been reborn... as their newest siblings.

The room instantly erupted into a deafening wall of noise. The sheer shock of seeing their worst enemies stepping out of the Mobile Womb sent the siblings into a frenzy of panicked shouting, snarling, and clashing weapons.

Yet, amidst the absolute chaos, Frovian remained perfectly still. His expression was a mask of cold composure. Slowly, he stepped past his rioting family, his footsteps rhythmic and unhurried as he walked right up to the freshly birthed chimera children.

When he spoke, his tone and delivery carried the sharp, undeniable weight of a true intellectual.

"Fascinating," Frovian murmured, his eyes scanning their flawless human features. "How clever of you to already wear the exact skin of whatever target Mother wants you to take over. You are born disguised for the grand stage."

The new siblings didn't answer. They couldn't. Having only just entered the world, they couldn't talk straight—in fact, they couldn't even form words yet, merely blinking in a daze as they stabilized their newly formed limbs.

Frovian turned around to face his family, who were practically screaming over one another for answers.

"Frovian, get away from them!"

Dyralfa roared, her muscles bulging as she prepared to pounce, her voice dripping with rage.

"We need to kill these bastards again right now! What if those human suckers have some kind of dark Lich magic? What if they somehow corrupted and infiltrated Mother's womb from the inside?!"

"She's right!"

Sephiran agreed frantically, clutching his war bat tightly as Vermi hissed in terror from his shoulder.

"They almost destroyed Vermi last time! We can't trust this!"

Up near the ceiling, Soltis and Noctis floated down, their expressions twisting into wicked, vengeful grins.

"Oh, before we kill them, let us torment them first!" Soltis cackled maliciously. "They deserve another painful death for what they did to our home! Let's make them suffer!"

"Quiet down. All of you."

The booming command didn't come from Frovian, but from Arach. The eldest brother stood like a mountain, his six arms slowly lowering to his sides as his panic subsided into deep, profound understanding. He stared at the mute, docile human clones standing before the womb, and a look of absolute reverence washed over his face.

"Arach, you can't be serious!" Dyralfa snapped, looking at him in disbelief.

"Look at them closely, Dyralfa," Arach muttered to himself, his voice calm, steady, and resolute. "They bear no malice. They possess no human souls. They belong entirely to the hive."

He looked toward the ceiling, his devotion unshakeable.

"Mother does not make mistakes... mother is always, flawless. If she birthed them, then they are our flesh and blood. And they have a purpose."
