Leon nodded in understanding and let out a sigh of relief. If things were as Rasmodius said, then the only thing he needed to guard against was monsters.
In this world, someone who had eaten just a single Starfruit was as common as dirt, hardly enough to attract the attention of any powerful monsters.
Not to mention, he was living in Stardew Valley, where experts gathered and safety was practically guaranteed.
“I’m good now. Thanks for explaining everything. I won’t bother you two any longer.”
Having confirmed that his identity as a Starfruit eater wouldn’t bring unnecessary trouble, Leon excused himself.
“This sailing log will stay with me. I need it as evidence to submit to the Supreme Court before I can dispatch enforcers to track down that witch. You’re fine with that, right?” Rasmodius raised the sailing log Leon had brought.
“Take it, take it. Don’t stand on ceremony. It’s not worth anything anyway.” Leon waved it off without a care. It wasn’t like it was a treasure map—giving it away didn’t hurt.
Rasmodius nodded, accepted the log, and tossed Leon a palm-sized pouch.
“As a reward for providing the lead, here’s your payment.”
