My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives

Chapter 494: Gaining A New Subordinate Loyd

The room was dead silent as the remaining Ifrits stared between Rin standing casually on the corpse beneath his paws and Damian towering over their elder. Nobody seemed capable of processing what had just happened. Their secret meeting had been hidden beneath the border town, protected by multiple demonic arrays and concealed from anyone capable of sensing cultivation, yet a human prince had somehow entered their sanctuary without triggering a single alarm.

Worse, he had appeared beside their elder without anyone noticing his movement. Even the Demi God Ifrit could not understand it. His instincts screamed at him to flee, but his body refused to move as his gaze remained fixed on Damian. He could not sense the slightest trace of demonic force from the young prince, yet two completely different spirit beasts accompanied him. One was the familiar fox that had just killed one of his people, while the other was the strange black dragon wrapped around his neck like a living scarf.

Then his eyes widened as the pieces finally connected.

"Abyssssss!!!" he screamed at the top of his lungs.

The elder staggered backward so violently that his legs tangled beneath him, and he fell onto his backside. His normally composed expression had completely collapsed into terror. The moment he spoke that name, every Ifrit in the auditorium froze. Then, as if they had all been struck by the same realization, they slowly turned their attention toward Damian. Their eyes widened until several of them looked as though they had just witnessed a dead God return from the grave.

The Abyssal inheritance had been missing for years since Majin’s death. Yet the man standing before them was human, barely a demigod and supposedly one of the newest princes in the Underworld. How could someone like him possess the power that even the strongest beings in existence feared?

Damian showed no reaction to their realization. He had already revealed far more than he originally intended by allowing Abel to remain in his true form, but at this point there was little reason to worry. These Ifrits were already trapped, and even if they somehow escaped, fleeing the underground chamber would only expose their existence to the authorities. They had hidden their cultivation while living among ordinary civilians and had gathered in secret to plot against the ruling dragon dynasty.

By the laws of the underworld, that alone was enough to earn them a death sentence. Damian was simply deciding whether they would die after giving him useful information or die without giving him anything.

His gaze settled on the trembling elder. "Fulgur. Where is he?"

"I... I..." The elder’s lips trembled as he struggled to form an answer, but before he could say anything, another Ifrit suddenly rose from his seat and glared at Damian with hatred burning in his eyes. "Don’t tell him anything, Loyd!"

Pa!

His head exploded before the final echo of his voice could disappear.

The body collapsed heavily against the stone floor, and Abel calmly stepped onto the corpse. His black claws pressed against the dead Ifrit’s chest as his crimson eyes swept across the room without emotion.

"The weak do not have the right to choose anything for themselves. Not even the way they die."

Nobody answered.

The statement was so cold that even Damian glanced briefly toward Abel. Rin, however, merely curled his lips as if he had expected nothing less from the strange dragon. The remaining Ifrits exchanged nervous glances, their confidence collapsing completely. Their eyes darted toward the tunnels behind them, and one by one their bodies tensed.

Then several of them moved at once.

Bang! Bang!

They shot toward the exits with everything they had, desperate to escape before Damian decided they were no longer worth questioning. Their movements were fast enough to leave afterimages behind, but the moment they reached the darkness covering the tunnel entrances, their bodies slammed into something invisible.

Boom!

Several Ifrits bounced backward and crashed onto the stone floor. One of them clutched his shoulder while another scrambled backward in panic, staring at the darkness ahead as though the tunnel itself had suddenly become a wall.

"What the hell is going on?" one of them screamed.

The answer slowly revealed itself.

Darkness began seeping from the walls.

It trickled from the ceiling, flowed across the floor and gathered around the edges of the auditorium. What had initially appeared to be ordinary shadows rapidly thickened until the entire chamber seemed to be sinking into an ocean of blackness. The darkness moved with unnatural intent, swallowing every possible escape route before gradually closing around the Ifrits.

Within moments, the entire auditorium had become enclosed inside a massive sphere of darkness.

Loyd’s face became deathly pale.

Partial Realm Zero...

Damian glanced around calmly while Abel’s voice sounded inside his mind.

"If you unleashed the full power of Realm Zero, you could consume this entire border town and more. These weaklings would have had the privilege of seeing the Abyss itself, but I understand that you are attempting to keep your dealings discreet."

Loyd’s breathing became increasingly frantic. There was no longer any room for doubt. The Prince of Lust really possessed the Abyss.

Everything finally made sense.

Kaizer’s defeat and the strange memories that had been stripped from the Dragon Prince. The impossible power that Damian had displayed despite being a newly awakened demigod.

Loyd suddenly understood that Kaizer had never been fighting an ordinary human.

"I thought Wrath was weak..." he whispered, his voice trembling. "I didn’t realize he was going up against the devil himself."

Damian rolled his eyes at the comparison before looking directly at him. His expression remained almost friendly, which somehow made the situation even more terrifying. "Are you going to make me repeat myself?"

Loyd swallowed hard. His mind raced as he considered his options, but every path ended with the same result. If he refused to cooperate, Damian could simply force the information from his mind or torture him until he talked. Even surrendering offered no guarantee of survival.

"You are going to kill me after I tell you, right?" he finally asked.

Damian nodded without hesitation. "Of course. You have already seen too much to be left alive. But whether you talk freely or not doesn’t matter either. I can always force it out of you. I’m just polite by nature."

The casualness with which he said it made Loyd’s stomach twist.

He immediately dropped to his knees and slammed his forehead against the stone floor. "There is no need to be so extreme, sire! Allow me to serve you. I will happily pledge my life to you using a Faustian Bargain!"

The remaining Ifrits stared at their strongest member in disbelief. Loyd was a demigod, their leader and the person they had trusted to guide their rebellion, yet he had surrendered without even attempting to fight. That alone shattered whatever courage remained among them.

They immediately followed his example.

"Let us serve you, sire!"

Their voices overlapped as they fell to their knees, but Damian merely raised an eyebrow. He had expected them to resist longer. Instead, they had made the decision considerably easier for him.

He crossed both hands against his chest and considered the situation for several seconds before shaking his head.

Loyd’s heart sank.

"You, I have use for," Damian said calmly. "Managing a demigod is much easier and more profitable. The rest of you, however, would be nothing but liabilities."

The Ifrits’ faces turned white.

"Sire!"

Their desperate cries filled the chamber, but Damian had already made his decision. He extended his hand, and abyssal flames immediately erupted around his fingers. The black flames twisted together above his head, forming the shape of a massive dragon head with crimson eyes.

Loyd pressed his forehead harder against the floor, refusing to look up.

ROOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRR!

The monstrous crimson eye opened its jaws and released a deafening roar before diving downward.

Abyssal flames flooded the chamber and the screams began immediately.

The black fire swept through the gathered Ifrits, devouring their bodies and extinguishing their voices almost as quickly as they appeared. Some attempted to run, others tried to resist, and a few desperately pleaded for mercy, but the flames did not distinguish between any of them. They consumed flesh, armor and demonic force alike until nothing remained.

Loyd remained completely motionless.

Sweat poured from his body and gathered beneath his forehead, forming a small puddle against the stone. He could hear everything happening around him, yet he refused to lift his head. He understood that the slightest movement could make Damian reconsider his usefulness.

Within less than a minute, the screaming stopped.l and silence returned to the auditorium.

Loyd slowly raised his head only to realize every other Ifrit was gone. Not even a corpse remained.

The only thing floating beside him was a parchment covered in glowing demonic runes. The Faustian Bargain hovered directly beside his face, waiting for his signature.

Damian stood several meters away, his hands relaxed at his sides and that same small smile resting on his lips.

"Sign this quickly," he said calmly. "Then tell me everything you know."
