"I still miss Grandpa and Grandma, and Little Aunt, too," Pei Jing continued.

With that, Jiang Ran gathered her strength and sat up, dressed herself and Pei Jing properly, then took Pei Jing outside.
As soon as they opened the door, the smell of food filled the air.
Just from the smell, Jiang Ran knew it must be Pei Yang cooking.
Pei Jing wanted to run straight to the kitchen, but Jiang Ran held him back.
"You need to wash your face and brush your teeth before eating."
Pei Jing, held back by Jiang Ran, didn’t cry or fuss. He looked up and gave Jiang Ran a bright smile, then followed her to the bathroom.
After they both finished washing up, they went to the kitchen where Pei Yang had already prepared breakfast and was serving the dishes.
Seeing Jiang Ran and Pei Jing enter, Pei Yang quickly said, "Sister-in-law, Little Jing, come on, let’s eat."
The food was served on the table in the main room, and the three of them sat around the table. Only then did Pei Yang say, "Brother Chen left early for the store, he told us to take a good rest today."
Jiang Ran looked at Pei Yang, "Are you tired?"
After the train trip, all it took was a good night’s sleep and the fatigue would be gone by morning.
