Chapter 224 - 223 : Sharing
Aiden opened the door and froze the moment he saw Arthur standing there.
Then his expression darkened.
"Why the hell were you’ve been?" Aiden snapped. "Evangeline and I were looking everywhere for you. Are you insane? Why did you challenge all the first-year rankers?"
His glare sharpened.
"Also you bastard," he said. "You’d better tell me what kind of relationship you have with my sister."
The next second, Arthur pushed him aside without a shred of hesitation.
"Move before I kick your ass," Arthur said coldly.
Arthur stepped inside and looked around the house with visible approval.
"It is quite a nice house," he said. "I will enjoy living here."
Aiden’s mouth twitched.
"What do you mean, living here?" he said. "Get out of here. Do you know how hard I worked to get this accommodation? And answer my questions first. How do you know my sister?"
Arthur did not even react to the complaint.
"I will also be living here from now on," he said. "So get used to it."
Aiden’s mouth hung open.
"What do you mean?" he asked in disbelief.
Before he could press further, Arthur walked toward the shower area.
Aiden clicked his tongue.
"Arrogant asshole," he muttered.
Then a voice came from behind him.
"Leave him be. He came here after meeting a girl named Arina, and it seems they are not on good terms. And if I am correct, that girl is Arthur’s sister, right?"
Aiden turned around.
Astarte was standing behind him.
His face lit up instantly.
"Sister," he said. "When did you get here?"
Astarte tilted her head.
"Why? Am I not welcome here?"
Aiden shook his head quickly.
"Of course you are," he said. "Should I make you some tea?"
Astarte nodded.
While preparing the tea, Aiden spoke again.
"Well, you could say that instead of being on good terms, Arthur straight-up hates his family," he said. "But he never told us why."
Astarte’s expression remained calm.
"Is that so?" she said. "Well, it is rude to pry into another person’s family matters. He will tell us when he is comfortable."
The tea was soon ready.
Astarte sipped it quietly.
Then Arthur stepped out of the shower area.
He was wearing only a towel.
The moment he saw Astarte, his eyes widened slightly.
"My lady, you are here as well," he said.
Astarte looked Arthur up and down.
He had a well-toned physique, with defined abs and a fit, sharp frame that made him look especially striking even in such a simple state of dress.
Her face remained expressionless.
"Well, you were the one who suggested I spend time with my brother," she said.
Arthur nodded once.
"Well, I did say that."
Then Aiden yelled from the side.
"Hey, you asshole! What are you doing? Can’t you see there’s a lady here? Put some clothes on already!"
[ What will happen if you tell him that you’ve seen his sister half-naked in a towel too? ]
Arthur replied inwardly with complete seriousness.
’He’ll try to kill me, of course.’
A little later, Arthur came out again wearing casual clothes.
He was dressed in a simple shirt and jeans, but the outfit looked excellent on him. Clean, stylish, and perfectly fitted, it gave him a sharp and confident appearance that suited him far better than anything flashy could have.
He walked into the living room and looked toward Astarte.
"Are you also planning on living here with us?" Arthur asked.
"Well, I am," Astarte replied.
Then she glanced at Aiden.
"Ed here is extremely weak," she said.
Aiden froze in embarrassment.
Astarte continued without mercy.
"He will not be able to defeat strong opponents, especially anyone two ranks above him or more. So I am going to train him."
Arthur laughed out loud, wearing a smug expression as he looked at the embarrassed Aiden.
"You are right," Arthur said. "He is a weakling. Train him as much as you can."
Then Arthur thought for a moment.
"Should I get you a spot as a temporary instructor here?" he asked. "I can speak to the Headmistress. Then you can roam freely."
Astarte’s eyes widened.
"You can do that?"
Aiden’s mouth fell open.
"How Aren’t you and the Headmistress on bad terms?" he said. "How can you make such an outrageous claim?"
Arthur smiled and looked at Astarte.
"You underestimate me, my lady," he said. "If you want, I can make it happen."
Astarte thought for a moment.
’Working as an instructor, huh. Then I won’t have to hide anymore. And I’ll be free to train Aiden.’
Watching the interaction, Aiden grew more and more confused.
’I don’t care what is happening anymore’
Then Arthur suddenly said, "Oh, nice. That’s settled. Hey, come with me. We are going to take care of some bastards."
Aiden blinked.
"Are we really following through on what you said about taking on the rankers?"
"Of course we are," Arthur replied.
Aiden sighed.
"Alright, I’ll contact the others to come too."
The next second, Arthur and Aiden left the house.
Astarte remained behind and turned on the television.
"I can’t miss my favorite show "
───────────────
Meanwhile, Arthur and Aiden walked through the academy premises.
"So, according to you," Arthur said, "a second-year senior is causing trouble for everyone and telling them to submit to him?"
"That is correct," Aiden replied as he walked beside him. "From one academy, only one representative is supposed to lead all the years."
"The second years already have a leader. The third years also have one. The first-year leader is supposed to be Arina because I lost the duel. But the first years are still divided."
He clenched his jaw.
"And the second years are taking advantage of that. They are trying to scare the first years and make them side with them."
At last, they reached a classroom.
Aiden sighed.
"Are we really going to do this?"
Arthur smiled lazily.
"Why are you scared?" he asked. "Maybe you’re a weakling, just like your sister said."
Aiden snapped immediately.
"I am not a weakling, okay?" he shouted. "It’s just that the disciplinary committee will step in if something unruly happens."
Arthur smiled.
"Leave that to me."
The next second, Aiden kicked the door open.
"Well, if you say that, then let’s do it."
The classroom was packed with second-year students.
Then two first-years stepped inside.
One had white hair.
The other had black hair.
Both were handsome, and their entrance immediately drew attention.
The second-year girls swarmed around them at once.
The boys, on the other hand, looked at them with open jealousy.
Then four second-years at the center of the room stood up.
At the very center was a brown-haired young man wearing a confident smile.
He looked amused the moment he saw them.
"Looks like two more first-years decided to join us today," he said. "What a good day it has been. If I’m not mistaken, your name is Arthur, right? You are quite famous."
He shifted his gaze.
"And you are the first-year who lost that duel today, Aiden, right? Well, I have to say, it was quite disappointing to see you lose like a weakling."
That word hit Aiden hard.
The second-years burst into laughter.
Aiden’s mouth twitched at the repeated insult.
Arthur stepped forward with a smile.
"Respected Senior are you the one named Arion Shreyder, the representative of the second years?"
The brown-haired boy smiled back.
"Well, you seem well informed," Arion said. "Have you decided to submit?"
[ Host, this guy is at least A-Rank, Tier 2. ]
Arthur replied inwardly,
’That means he is quite talented. I need talents like that.’
Then Arthur smiled.
"Yes," he said.
Arion’s smile widened.
"Welcome, then."
Arthur’s smile deepened.
"I have come to make you submit."
Arion’s eyes turned cold.
"Looks like you need to get beaten up."
Bam.
A straight punch landed on his face.
He hit the floor instantly.
The other three were stunned to the core.
Then Aiden’s kick slammed into one of them.
The second-year crashed into the wall with a heavy impact.
Aiden looked down at him and said in a low voice,
"How was the taste of the kick from your weakling, huh?"
No one laughed now.
The next second, every second-year in the room stood up.
Killing intent flooded the classroom.
They surrounded Arthur and Aiden from every side.
