These words are for the eyes of your highness alone.
Now, that you have been recognized by the Electors and Coronated upon the Throne of Cantor Reborn there are matters of gravest import which could not be revealed except to you. Though you may be aware of the discord between the Temples of the Realm and the Pantheon, the depths of this schism and how the throne plans to proceed has been kept in most secure confidence from nearly all. Hidden from even the majority of the Electors.
This secrecy surrounds my last mandate as your predecessor, I Mathias Stein, now passed from this life, Gave a righteous order made in secret to correct the injustice revealed by the temples.
For it is the assured truth, verified by both the invocations of the Pantheon itself and the high and arch priests of the Realm that the promise of souls after death secured, the promise known by every serf, freeman, noble and pauper of the realm, so assured by the gods themselves, is an illusion and fabrication ancient beyond reckoning.

While the miserly heads of the Pantheon’s Zodiac Council yet seek to obscure and censor, to bury this revelation it was my dying order to correct this grave betrayal.
And so has the Leuhtą Project been undertaken. In what time I had left to me I enlisted the aid of the Archpriestess of Asherah and her temple, the Court Wizard Erhard Iron Hand and the Shining Wyrm Jewel of House Rochford, Countess of Viznove. An alliance of the three most loyal and powerful sorceries known to me, set to the task to claim what has been found denied us.
A true afterlife and security for the souls of the Realm of Cantor reborn and beyond.
I did not live to see this great work complete, so now it falls to you to shepherd its cause, great strides already have been made, but the labor is not yet complete.
As the latest in the line of Highest Kings, it falls to you to take up this mission, to right the divine injustice made against all mortal men.
May you triumph where I have failed.
Mathias Stein.
