Chapter 226: Woman’s Intuition
Several hours earlier, immediately after the group logged out, the virtual world vanished from Elisebeth’s sight, and her headset released with a soft click.
She stayed flat on her back, staring at the ceiling while the last few minutes replayed in her head. Evening light filled the bedroom and reflected off the pale walls, but she barely noticed. Even the headset sitting crookedly against her forehead had been forgotten.
Rias had logged out first and was already in the armchair beside the bed, reviewing Elisebeth’s schedule on her tablet.
Martin knew who she was now. He knew NukEncore was Elisebeth Hera, the diva whose face appeared on billboards, screens, and advertisements around the world. He had heard her real voice, seen her real face and body, and learned that the woman who had fought beside him and shamelessly flirted with him was someone millions dreamed of meeting.
After all of that, he had still treated her like NukEncore.
Even once Rias explained how famous she was, Martin had not become stiff or overly polite. He hadn’t started choosing every word carefully or acting like Elisebeth was someone he needed to impress. Whenever she moved close, his eyes still dipped toward her chest before snapping back to her face.
He knew who she was, yet her tits could still wreck his concentration.
Elisebeth smiled before she could stop herself.
He knows who I am now, and he still can’t stop looking.
Her cheeks started to ache. She grabbed the nearest pillow, crushed it against her chest, and kicked both heels into the mattress.
"Ahhhhh!"
All the restraint she had managed in the game disappeared. Elisebeth wriggled from side to side and kicked the mattress while her breasts bounced beneath her thin top. The shirt did nothing to restrain their weight. Every twist of her shoulders sent them rolling under the fabric before they swung back together.
When she arched and kicked harder, the hem rode up her stomach and exposed the pale underside of one breast. The lower curve slipped free while the rest remained trapped beneath the stretched shirt.
If her fans saw their untouchable diva rolling around with half a tit hanging out, the internet would collapse.
Rias barely looked up from her tablet.
"He knows!" Elisebeth cried into the pillow. "He finally knows everything!"
"He does."
"And nothing changed!"
"Several things changed."
"Nothing bad changed!"
Elisebeth rolled onto her back. Her breasts bounced upward, pressed together for a moment, and settled wide across her chest. Even lying flat didn’t make them look smaller. They spread toward her sides while still rising enough to pull the fabric tight over her nipples.
The friction had left them hard enough to show through the shirt. Elisebeth looked down at the two thick points pressing through the cloth and squeezed her thighs together.
Remembering exactly where Martin had looked sent warmth through her lower stomach.
Rias let her enjoy herself for a few more seconds before lowering the tablet. "None of you followed the agreement."
Elisebeth stopped kicking and raised her head. Her golden hair had spread around her in a messy halo, and her face was flushed.
"What agreement?"
"The one you spent an entire call arguing over."
"Oh. That agreement."
"Yes, Elise. That one."
Rolling onto her side, Elisebeth hugged the pillow beneath her chest. The pressure forced her breasts together until they spilled over the neckline of her shirt and nearly swallowed the pillow’s edge.
"I followed it perfectly. I didn’t confess."
"You revealed your identity, pressed those things against him, let him touch your face, and made it painfully obvious that you wanted his attention."
Elisebeth glanced down. "Those things?"
"You know exactly what I mean."
"That isn’t a confession. That’s communication."
"That was flirting."
"Flirting was allowed."
"Careful flirting was allowed."
"I was careful."
Rias looked at the mattress, which still trembled slightly from Elisebeth’s celebration. "You tried to outdo Katherine with your chest."
"She started it."
"Katherine stood near him."
"Exactly."
Rias rubbed her temple. "You already have the biggest chest in the group. You don’t need to turn every conversation into a breast-size competition."
Elisebeth immediately perked up. "You admit I’m the biggest?"
"Anyone with eyes can admit that."
"You manage me. You should understand my advantages."
"Your advantage can be seen from the back row of a stadium."
Elisebeth hugged the pillow tighter, pleased with herself. Katherine might have her mature actress aura, Cassandra had her cold elegance, and Alexandra had those thick villainess thighs, but none of them could block a man’s entire field of vision the way Elisebeth could.
Rias continued before she started celebrating again. "None of you followed the agreement. Every one of you was hitting on him."
"Because we like him."
"No confession? Elise, all of you practically confessed. Cassandra spoke to him like they were already planning a life together. Katherine claimed his attention before anyone could stop her, and Alexandra whispered in his ear before practically pushing him toward her sister."
"That makes it sound worse than it was."
"It was worse than it sounds."
Elisebeth thought about it, then reluctantly nodded. "A little."
"You surrounded Martin with several famous, powerful women and made your feelings obvious at the same time. He’s probably lying in bed right now, confused as hell."
"But happy."
"He can be happy and confused."
"That means we did well!"
"That is not what I said."
Rias picked up the tablet again, though she no longer seemed interested in the schedule. "Katherine is probably making things worse right now. I bet she’s already sent him nudes too."
Elisebeth remained curled around the pillow for another second before the words registered. Her eyes widened.
"Nudes?"
Rias looked up, but it was already too late. Elisebeth pushed herself upright, and the pillow slid into her lap. Her shirt had ridden high enough to expose her stomach and nearly half of both breasts. Their lower curves hung free beneath the hem and wobbled from the sudden movement.
"I’ve never taken nudes."
