["And it was intentionally hunted to almost extinction."]

["Honestly speaking, I have hard time getting that fish myself."]

"And why is that? Is this thing special?"

["It's a drug."]

"Explain."

["This fish monster posses a special form toxin, a one that reduces a person's resistance to the negative effects."]

["I'm using that fish toxin to make some of my bests poisons, since this stuff is just so good."]

["However, at the same time, many drug dealers also add this fish monster toxic to their drugs or just makes drugs with them as one of main integrands."]

["Because of that, those fishes earned themselves a named called 'drug fish'.]

["Honestly, just eating that fish is dangerous, as just eating the meat can apply powerful weakening effect."]

["Because how much this fish end up being involved in drug deals, it was deemed too dangerous and some kingdoms just apparently hunted them down until non were left."]

["Still, there are some left and I do have my own personal water tank with them where they reproduce."]

"Okay, that is nice and all, but tell me."

"Is it possible to weaken the mental resistance as well with that fish?"

[Sometime later: Dragon Castle – Dragon King's Garden.]

"Drug fish?!" – asked the dragon king in his elven form.

"Frenzy Piranha." – said Oron in his lizardman form.

"It is the name of the fish that you had ate."

"Its posses' effect of weakening the resistance to the negative effects and it is often used in drugs."

"So, the fish really had something to do with us getting poisoned!" – said the dragon king.

"…Still, how the hell didn't I sniffed out the poison?" – said the dragon king to himself.

(Did they did something to the fishes so I wouldn't detect anything?) – thought the dragon king as he realized that the enemy plan was thought though.

"…Do you know where to get those fishes?" – asked the dragon king.

"It is forbitten product in many kingdoms and they are often exterminated." – said Oron.

"They are often being hunted down and what not… And that is a problem."

"They may had found a hunting spot and then just exterminated it afterwords by having a solid excuse."

"Tch! So, we have nothing?!" – asked pissed off dragon king.

"Not exactly." – said Oron.

"First thing first."

"We know that they had used in order to make you weakened you and everybody else in order to make you more susceptible to the brainwashing."

"However, this is still not enough."

"They would need to still use powerful brainwashing to control you, which would leave some traces."

"…That means they used something else beside the fish." – said the dragon king.

"Exactly." – said Oron.

"Not only that, but how did they had brough those fishes to the empire? Maybe the empire didn't dealt with it before, so it is not officially banned yet, but still, it is a drug."

"However, somebody may had used the opportunity, with you and the empire lacking information about the fish, to legally hunt the fishes."

"Who exactly brough those fishes to the empire? Who hunted them?"

"Who delivered them to you?"

<<It seemed to be the right question to be asked.>>

<<The dragon king went instantly on the move and with his memories restored, he could tell who delivered the fishes and which company had hunted the fishes.>>

<<He interrogated them and found out that they were hired by somebody by company called Fish Hook.>>

<<The fish hook wasn't a real long standing company, if anything, it was extremely young, before then it had called a bankruptcy, resulting in the company being destroyed.>>

<<And you know who was the part of that company?!>>

<<Minerva.>>

<<She was the part of that company.>>

<<As the investigation continued, more and more pieces started appearing and sticking together.>>

<<The Frenzy Piranha, they were being hunted by the orders of the Fish Hook company, before then being processed by their company and then delivered to the Wumi clan.>>

<<The ex-workers of the Fish Hook company were slowly identified and found.>>

<<Obviously many of them were just nobodies, probably to make sure they wouldn't spit anything or look too suspicious.>>

<<But again, they were able to provide SOME information.>>

<<Like for example, some higher ranking workers being the ones behind "inspecting" the fish.>>

<<And as they dug deeper and deeper into the company, they found even more leads.>>

<<Things were looking good and all.>>

<<…And obviously, it caught attention of some rats.>>

"Quickly! Move those boxes to the carriage and relocate them to the designated area!" – said the lizardman knight as he was leading the Wumi clan's soldier into gathering the evidence…. While in the shadows from the top of the building, a hooded figure was watching from above.

The hooded figure backed away from the edge of the roof as it was almost spotted, before then aiming to get down from the roof all together.

"!?" – however, just as they were about to do so, a shadow beneath them enlarged… Which also started acting like a straight up mud as it sunk the hooded figure's feet, making them panic as they tried to get out.

But before they could, a pair of arms emerged from the muddy shadow, which then just dragged the hooded figure.

And right in the next moment, another shadow appeared on the wall inside of one of the alleyway, before moments later the same hooded figure was straight up throw into the alleyway where they smashed into one of the building walls.

The hooded figure tried instantly running after being throw, but before they could even do that, a massive crossbow bolt came flying, piercing and impaling the hooded figure's shoulder against the wall.

The hooded figure tried screaming in agony… But before they could, several daggers were launched at them, piercing their limbs.

"?!"

"Don't bother moving." – said Oron as he was wearing an armor that was completely hiding his identity, while also using a voice changer.

"Can't move or speak. This is special paralyzing poison that is affecting your body." – said Oron as he approached the hooded figure and removed their mask, revealing them to be a female dark elf.

"!" – the elf tried moving her mouth, but before she could do that, Oron threw a device at the woman, which instantly wrapped itself around the woman's head and created a gag, which straight up locked the woman's mouth.

"You have no fucking idea how many times I've dealt with idiots like you. The ones that have a suicidal capsule inside of their mouth… This kind of became boring when so many people are straight up using it." – said Oron as the shadows started consuming the woman's body.

"Now. Who exactly the hell are you?"

<<I knew that sooner or later somebody would make a move the moment Wumi clan started looking.>>

<<That woman, alongside few other people that I've had captured, they were order to find out how much Wumi kingdom knew about their situation and possible destroy the evidence.>>

<<These assassins weren't per say some kind of weaklings or nobodies.>>

<<They endured… For sometime at least, before I finally broke them. I had a little help from some of my demons which does know how to get out information out of people as well.>>

<<Their stealth skills were also somewhat high, if they were able to avoid the lizardmen detection while being that close to them.>>

<<But still, they were out of their league when it comes to me…. But again, so many talented people?>>

<<Yeah, these bastards weren't exactly expendable, were they?>>

<<Still, for them to make that kind of move so quickly… Desperation.>>
