[VRMMO] Dead One

With the arrival and rampage of the demon lord ClownFrog, an evacuation order had been issued to all settlements that were anywhere near Marax city.

Reason was simple: Reduce the number of casualties while also robbing the demon lord from soldiers.

However, the problem still stood with the demon lord ClownFrog still being present in the elven kingdom, alongside the fact that he committed act of genocide on the city filled with just civilians.

The army of undeads were born and not only that, there are also demons and elementals that have also joined this brand new army according to the elven reports.

So? What do the elves do?

Nothing.

They are gathering their forces while ordering civilians to evacuate.

The elves are keeping watch AND they are planning to counter attack form of attacks that would be launched by the demon lord.

Not only that, but skies around the city are also covered with hippogriff riders, meaning that no matter where the demon lord would go, he would end up getting spotted.

The elves were ready for anything that the demon would do... And then it finally came.

His move.

The army of monsters poured out of the city of Marax and headed in all directions.

"Wait, what? He went with the worst possible option?" – asked confused elven queen.

"?"

"Your majesty, what do you mean by worst possible option?" – asked young high elf.

"No…. I mean, the stay option would spread terror." – said the queen as she started explaining.

"The option with attacking the frontline from behind could possible create a opening of the empire army."

"While attack on the capital city would be a bold gamble."

"However splitting around the forces would just spread mindless destruction and chaos…. But at the same time, we could possible easily deal with his army as they split apart."

"This is OUR kingdom."

"OUR playground."

"Once these monsters enter our forests, they are good as gone…. So why would they…."

"Where is demon lord?"

"About that… We haven't received any confirmation of the demon lord leaving the city." – said the elf knight.

"What do you mean? You couldn't find him at all?" – asked skeptical elven queen.

"It is just as I said…. My queen." – said nervous elven knight.

"The scouts and hippogriff riders did as you instructed and could not spot him anywhere nor he had launched any attacks himself."

"They also looked around the monsters, thinking that demon lord was using them as the cover… But didn't found anything."

"What about the city?" – asked the queen.

"The city still has a lot of monsters present in the area, including the skies." – said the elven knight.

"…"

(Is he waiting?) – thought the elven queen.

(I guess he is using his monsters as means of diversion while trying to weak spot in our lines of defense.)

"He is baiting us, forcing us to create a weak point."

"Maybe he will be trying to escape by creating a weak point in our army or use that bring destruction?"

"Continue the evacuation."

"If that guy gets his hands on the civilians, it would result in catastrophe."

"Eliminate the monsters and find out where the demon lord is, got it?"

The armies of monsters summoned and created by the demon lord ClownFrog were on the move.

Their aim? Destruction.

They were send out in all directions, attacking and destroying everything they see while also slaughtering any living being they had encountered.

However, the elven warriors did not stood idly and faced off against the monsters, hunting them and stopping their madness.

But something was…. Not right.

The entire city that was once filled with monsters now stood completely empty…. And the demon lord? Completely gone.

"I want you to REPEAT that." – said bit pissed off queen.

"W-we couldn't find the demon lord anywhere…. Your majesty." – said the hippogriff captain who was using communication orb to speak with the queen.

"The entire Marax city, it is completely desolated."

"There is no sights of life or anything."

"My men had searched throughout the entire city, but there is nothing here at all."

"So, you are telling me, that he isn't there…. Yes?" – asked queen.

"Y-yes…." – replied the rider.

(What is going on?) – thought the queen.

(By now he should already appeared.)

(If not for what ever reason, then he would be still in the city….. With his mastery of the demonic and summoning magic, opening hell gate and creating brand new undeads out of nothing is possible…. But he isn't preparing a next batch of soldiers in the city at all?)

(But that doesn't make sense!)

(There is no way he wouldn't get detected after we found out his tricks.)

(Even if he isn't participating in battles and just hiding among the monsters, we would had found him.)

"What about the group of monsters that is coming here?"

"The group of monsters that are about to attack the capital city consist of the highest elite soldiers working for the demon lord himself."

"The shadow mercenary."

"The melting swordman."

"And corpse drake."

"There are also some higher ranking demons and deaths soldiers in the mix."

"And demon lord?" – asked the queen.

"Not present here either." – replied the elven knight.

"Now that they got close enough for us to take a proper look, we confirmed a completely lack of the demon lord present in that group either."

(This is stupid.) – thought the elven queen.

(I know they are most deadly and annoying monsters serving the demon lord…. But there is no way they could win this on their own.)

(Our capital city is fused with the forest.)

(We have countless tamed beast, treants and elite soldiers as well as knights at the command.)

(Not only that, but our World Tree is also strengthening our spirits.)

(This….. WHERE THE HELL IS HE?!)

(Nah. Even if he used [Teleportation Gate], there would be some traces left behind. Not only that, but the [Teleportation Gate] needs to be set up before hand and there is also the distance limit.)

"Pretty much. All elven forest end becoming forests filled with large and thick trees…. But they are not exactly "monster like" compare to the trees at Bloody Mountains." – said Sirius Cruel.

"Same…. My detection is picking up many hostiles from all directions." – said Hera.

"They are surrounding us from."

"Probably as soon as we gets near the city, we would end up being ambushed by the enemy."

"Just stick to the plan." - said O'a as the group of ClownFrog servants had finally arrived in front of the elven capital city.

"Okay. You are up big guy!" – shouted O'a, before moments later Zod stepped forward.

"GET THEM NOW!" - shouted the elven soldiers.

Elven soldiers on the walls and the ones hiding in the forest revealed themselves alongside a huge group of their own monsters, ready to fight.

"TAKE DOWN THE DRAKE! IT PLANS ON USING BREATH ATTACK!" – shouted elf general, ordering the two giant tree giants to go and run straight towards Zod.

(Did you thought we let that giant living cannon get close to our gates without safety measures? He won't be firing any cannons any time soon with the ancient forest guardian around.) – thought the elven general.

(Your simple plan had already failed.)

Zod opened up his mouth, alarming the elves as they realized the breath attack was coming… But something was off.

Nothing was happening…. Instead "SOMEBODY" came out of Zod mouth.

"?!"

(Wait. Somebody was inside of that….?!)

"IT'S THE DEMON LORD! THE DEMON LORD IS HERE!" – shouted the panicking elf general as he saw ClownFrog being the one that walked out of the Zod mouth.

"Hi." – said ClownFrog before then taking on his dragon form.

After taking on his dragon form, ClownFrog instantly casting buff type skills, alarming the elven general.

"STOP HIM! STOP WHAT EVER HE IS DOING!" – shouted general, causing all the soldiers to change their targets towards ClownFrog.

But it didn't worked.

These troops around ClownFrog weren't here to attack, they were to protect ClownFrog as he was preparing his attack.

Even two ancient forest guardian that were meant to stop Zod in their tracks were instead stopped by the undead drake.

"A LITLE FUCKING PRESENT AND BIG "FUCK YOU" TO YOU AND YOUR FUCKING BITCH OF A QUEEN!" – shouted ClownFrog.

"[NECRO NOVA]!"

An giant magic circle appeared right in front of the city gates, before moments later a giant pillar of necrotic energy burseted out of it, hitting the gate as well as all the soldiers near and on top of it, causing mass genocide…. Before moments later tearing apart the gate.

"Well then…. BRING ME THAT FUCKING WHORE'S HEAD!"
