[VRMMO] Dead One

"The time had came for the start of the second phase of the tournament, "kingdom battle royal"."

"For those who haven't paid attention or had forgotten, quick reminder."

"Each team will be provided with their own castle and will be placed in the one of four available territories."

"No time limit or closing border zone."

"Two ways to eliminate the opposing team."

"First would be obvious, eliminate every single player from that team."

"Second way would be to take over the flag point located in the castle throne room, resulting in the team getting full wiped out."

"So, please be wary of this."

"And without further ado, let's start the show."

[The battle will be starting.]

[All players will be teleported alongside their team to their respective castle.]

When the announcement was given to the players, each and every single player had been transferred to the event map and onto each of their team maps.

[Current location: Yellow Hawk Castle Base.]

"Okay. Lets get this over with already." – said Leonidas with annoyed look when all players got teleported.

"?"

"Get this over with? What are you- "

Few players head were instantly chopped off by Shri whip.

"Eh?" – the player in white armor looked around and noticed his team getting friendly fired.

"W-what are you- "

Leonidas swinged down his sword, cutting down the player that tried complaining.

Many players were confused what was going on…. But before long they realized that these panicking players were the only one who didn't knew it was going on.

Execution.

5 teams had been merciless executed.

Some tried to fight back while some tries to escape… While some others asked "why", but obviously nobody gave answer.

And in the end, all 5 teams had been eliminated.

"…"

"Welp, I guess we aren't the only ones who though of this idea." – said GreyHunt while using communication device.

"Two of our teams had been attacked from get go as well."

"Tch. Same here. My they ambushed my guys…. I guess everybody wanted to get rid of "lose ends"." – said Leonidas.

"Anyway, this is all of them?"

"Yea, nobody had escaped or anything like that." – said Bullet as he landed on the ground.

"Good." – replied Leonidas.

"Then lets do as we discussed. Move it people!" – said Leonidas before moments later all players began going in different directions, inspecting their castle.

(Well, I guess the entire situation is chaotic from get go.) – though GreyHunt while using an communication device.

(All the teams had came up with the exactly same plan of eliminating any "traitors".)

(Well, that was quiet obvious. I mean, nobody would want to have spies on their side, right?)

(Did the developers didn't though this thorough? I mean… Yea, they had definitely not had though this phase though, did they?)

(They should had at least given an option of forming an alliance before the team were formed…. Yea, they really did fucked up by not including this option.)

(Anyway, it seems both of our teams are still alive, they somehow managed to escape from their respective teams.)

(But its currently an preparation phase.)

(They won't be able to leave their respective maps until timer is up.)

"So, how is doing?"

"Not good really mate." – replied Tale from the communication device.

"They are hot at our tale and they want to make absolutely sure we are gone." – replied Howl.

"If you can't hide or get away, then you are free to go on the total rampage." – said GreyHunt.

"Yea, we were planning on doing that." – said Howl.

"But fuck me! I wanted to fight you guys! And not against our own so called "teammates"! Who the fuck was an idiot that came up with this stupid part of event?!"

"I get you mate." – said annoyed sounding Tail.

"Anyway, if we somehow survive, we will try and regroup with your team…. Anyway, I need to end the call, I have an situation on my end." – said Tail before deactivating the device.

"Wow…. We really didn't saw something as obvious as this, did we?" – said the game staff who was observing the entire chaos alongside other people in the special observation space.

"Yea… This…. This won't come off our pay, won't it?" – asked another guy.

"I hope not….. But honestly…. Considering how chaos is going on in the fucking preparation phase…. I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if our boss….. Okay, we are fucked, we are definitely fucked." – said the man that had completely lost hope.

It was like the staff said.

Chaos.

Even though it was an phase where the players should be preparing, there was nothing like that.

Instead, there was an "Hunt". An hunt meant to get rid of all the spies and traitors in each respective grand team.

Some traitors were killed, while some others somehow managed to escape.

However, some of these traitors had also sabotaged their original teams as well, by killing the non-traitor or managed to damage their respective castle.

For example, the triples from the Purple Hyena guild that were on the Howl team, decided to do an suicidal attack where they blowed themselves alongside few players, killing them, while also creating an holes in the wall.

Pure unstable chaos that had made the event designers grab their stomachs as they could feel their boss footsteps getting closer and closer.

And then came this thing.

The time limit of the preparation phase has reached zero.

[The preparation phase is now OVER!]

[The border walls will be now removed.]

[Reminder of the goal.]

[Eliminate all the players from the opposing team or take over their flag.]

[The match will last until 3 teams are faced with total annihilation.]

The giant border walls that had been keeping players away from each other had been completely removed.

However, even those these walls had been removed, none of the grand teams had made their move, even as the surviving traitors had managed to run away.

Reason?

Wary.

Some of the traitor attacks had weakened the castle defenses, while some other people were wary of the other teams attacking them from get go.

…

But nothing had happened.

Total silence.

Expect for one side.

The Yellow Hawk team was on the move.

2 attack groups.

Purple Hyena was heading towards the Red Shark territory, while the Green Dragons were targeted by the Iron Will guild alongside few other guilds….. And were also accompanied by the extremely large army of monsters.

(Dammit… I knew he could create shit ton of monsters…. But now he can make even more? He created enough for the two whole armies!) – though Leonidas while marching alongside the army of the monsters.

(…. I think I will need to find some way to find an weakness of these monsters…. But for now, I'm going to bite it and just focus on winning this round….)

(Still, what the fuck were these guys deal?)

[Sometime before the tournament.]

"What the hell do you mean you want to go solo against one of the enemy grand teams you over confided bastards?!" – said furious Leonidas on the private chat that had been formed by the true Yellow Hawk team.

"Just how it sounds, the Purple Hyena will launch their own attack, against the Red Sharks." – said ClownFrog.

"On your own?! I know you bastards are strong but this is just stupid." – said Leonidas.

"…"

"Nah, let them." – said Jet.

"I agree." – said Bullet.

"Just let them do their thing, since they are big of a monsters."

"Still, we are supposed to talk about strategy and stuff, so wouldn't- "

"I will give you an army." – said ClownFrog.

"I will lend you my army of monsters. You should have enough of them to defend the castle and also launch your own attack."

"Bullet, Leonidas. You both know how strong our monsters are. And I'm going to say this straight. I can now make even more monsters and stronger ones."

"You will get an army."

"But in return, the Red Sharks are our preys alone. Got it?"

[Back to the present.]

(Honestly, we all were skeptical about this….. All teams from our group…. But this? Damn, this really shuted up everybody.) – though Leonidas.

(Honestly, this doesn't even feel fair…. Still, why would they go to such length?)

(I mean, he gave us his army, in exchange for us not getting in their way, but still-)

(Why is he so obsessed with the Red Shark team?)

(Did they have one team that completely pissed off those bastards?)

(I want to see what his monster army got.) – though Leonidas as he walked out of the forest and spotted the Yellow Dragon team castle.

"Lets see what the army of the demon lord got." – said Leonidas as he commanded the monsters the monsters to attack the castle.
