[VRMMO] Dead One

Honestly, that little witch did somewhat spoiled the mood for us…. But only for me really.

However, there was also our little tournament…. I honestly didn't wanted to spoil everybody mood or delay it and possible encounter some random shit…. So instead, we made the tournament go forward as planned.

We didn't told any of the participants about the witch and Sabath, but we did told it to the ones that were eliminated or those that didn't participated in case we need to move out.

However, so far none of our agents had reported anything.

With possess some questions…. But also, that witch hasn't made any movements…. Don't know. Try and observe and wait, that is the only possible way of doing things. Anything too drastic could cause way too big problems…. So, we will wait.

But for now, let's focus on the tournament.

"Lil, Wretch, Swim, Kitty Nose, Ampi and Ogo." – said ClownFrog.

"You all had managed to get to the finals, congratulations."

"And now, it is time for you to show off your results as it is the time for the finals."

"As mentioned before, the finals will be an battle royal in the style of 2 matches that each has 3 players in each."

"The two winners that would win their respective matches will be the ones that will be the part of the main team."

"And now, it's time for the selection."

"Normally I would just use some random program or something, but this time we will be using this box." – said ClownFrog while pointing at the small box next to him.

"Simply put, there are 6 balls inside, red and blue."

"3 red and 3 blue. You fight the guys that has same color as you. Simple."

"So, who wants to go first?"

"Well, I guess I." – said Swim as she approached the box and took out randomly one of the balls.

After the Swim, one by one other participants started taking turns and before long all 6 balls were taken.

(Huh…. I…. I honestly wasn't expecting this?) – though surprised Lil as she stared at her ball.

(I thought I would be fighting Wretch or Ampi, since they are the scariest ones…. But Swim and Ogo?)

(Honestly, I can take them on easily…. It didn't looked like ClownFrog did anything, so it was really random?)

(Huh…. I really don't know how to feel about this….)

(Still… I shouldn't look too much on either Swim or Ogo, since they both managed to get to the finals… I honestly don't want to fail because I did something stupid as underestimating them like some sort of third rate villain.)

(Well…. Wretch and Kitty Nose?) – though nervous Ampi.

(Kitty Nose will be fighting like Tail…. But Wretch? Damn! I saw him going berserk!)

(I mean, I know he…. And there is also Kitty Nose…. Well. This will be hard.)

"Well, I think there is a lot of things going in your head right now, so we won't be starting from the get go." – spoke up suddenly ClownFrog.

"There will be an small 1 to 2 hours break and once it's up or when you all say you are ready, the battle will start."

"As for the battle that will be taking place first… Well, to make things interesting, both battles will be taking place at the same time."

"As you may or may not know, this area has 2 areas. Surface area we are on the top and the bottom area that is usually kept for more experimental purposes or some private battles."

"Don't worry, the underground area is as good as the area on the surface, so there won't be anything like disadvantages or some annoying factors in play."

"So, get the fuck out you bastard and get ready mentally or something."

"If you are ready already, then gives me heads up and I will tell all of you to gather."

"Got it? Dismissed." – said ClownFrog before moments later all 6 participants began leaving the area.

"If you are going to ask about "that", then the answer is no. I didn't found anything." – said Oron as he stepped out of the shadows and approached ClownFrog.

"No even small traces?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Nope. Nothing at all." – replied Oron.

"I tracked that witch like you asked me to as soon as she left the kingdom territory, but she managed to escape."

"Or more exactly, I needed to let her escape like we discussed before she noticed anything."

"Thanks. Still, there was nothing else? She didn't used anything like weird tool or- "

"I would had said something, wouldn't I?" – said Oron cutting off ClownFrog mid question.

"…True…. Still, just in case order your people to keep watch in silence." – said ClownFrog.

"I already did." – said Oron as he disappeared into the darkness.

(Well, I guess that it…. But the question now remains when will that witch… Or somebody from the high ranking position from their organization would appear.) – though ClownFrog.

(Still, the tournament for now. We need to finish this before something "really" annoying papers.)

2 hours later, the preparation phase was over and all participants were called over to their respective areas.

The Red group headed underground while the Blue group headed to the surface.

"Testing… Testing…. Okay. I think this is working." – said ClownFrog who was on the surface while holding an microphone looking magic device, while also having an communication golem below.

"…. It is working? Right…..Okay. Thanks." – said ClownFrog to Blueberry.

"Anyway, enough time had passed for you to all mentally prepare…. And so, it's an time to get this show off the road!"

"There is no time limit! Fight until you kill each other or your opponent gives up!"

"There can be only one winner!"

"Team up! Fight dirty! Do whatever the fuck you want!"

"Grasp the victory by any means necessary if you want to!"

"And so without further ado….."

As soon as ClownFrog shouted, both of the matches started.

The Red match started with Swim, Lil and Ogo, summoning their own monsters to the battlefield, while on the Blue match started with somewhat similar matter as both Wretch and Ampi started off with summoning their summons, while Kitty Nose instantly turned invisible, disappearing out of the sight.

The red match started with an war, where monsters from each sides clashed with each, ripped each other apart or just self-destructed.

But they were really just keeping each other in bay while their masters attacked each other.

Specifically, Ogo threw his javelins at the Lil while Swim used her magic to completely bombard the entire area where Lil was standing, forcing Lil on the full defense by deploying an wall of metal to defense herself.

However, one of the javelins finally managed to break through, piercing the wall and landing an solid hit on Lil.

"!"

(SHIT!) – though Lil as she saw an massive wave of water coming her way as soon as her barrier was broken.

The giant wave smashed everything in the area, completely devastating everything in sight.

But neither Ogo or Swim let their guard down as she saw Lil monsters still fighting, realizing that the fight was nowhere near over as they instantly understood that Lil was still alive.

And she was.

She used [Earth Mole] to travel beneath the ground, before then leaping out of the ground and unleashing an barrage of [Metal Shot], unleashing an wave of metallic bullet that flew towards Swim, with in turn forced her to deploy her water barrier defending herself perfectly.

"!?"

However, as Lil was focused on Swim, an javelin covered in green light flew towards her, alarming her and forcing her to deploy an earth wall spell, only for the wall and javelin to destroy each other.

(Damn! I though of this possibility, but they are really going for me… AND THE HELL IS THIS FIRE POWER?!) – though nervous Lil as she started unleashing an barrage of pebbles towards Swim and giant slash of water towards Ogo trying to hit both.

However, Swim defense was way too strong and easily blocked the attack with her water again, while Ogo was too far and he was also too fast to get hit.

After that, the two threw their attacks at Lil once again, forcing on the complete defense, summoning an multy later barrier of stones to protect herself from their attacks.

"…"

(Okay… This is… Problematic to say the least.) – though Lil as her walls crumbled.

(Honestly, I'm fucked.)

(I need to focus on one and only one if I want to eliminate somebody.)

(But if I do that, then the other one will attack me…. Shit.)

(And to make matters worse, my monsters are locked in battle with theirs and I can't really use them…. Well, fuck me I guess.)

(Still, what is that fire power they have?!)

(I mean, I know that they had gotten stronger and everything, but they gotten THAT strong?!)

(I know both of them…. No, I really did looked down on them like idiots.)

(At this rate they will really kill me if I fuck up anymore….. And I can't do that!)

(I need to get to the main team, by any means fucking necessary!)
