"So, the Garog kingdom had made an full retreat?" – asked emperor Erun.

"Y-yes sir…. But…. But all the demonic beast and the entire golem army got wiped out." – said stressed and tired looking knight.

(Well…. I guess I was too optimistic, thinking that they would take down the Garog kingdom army…. Still, considering the fact that they had retreated does suggest that the damage that they suffered when confronting the army led by the Hell Lord had indeed deal critical damage to them.) – though emperor Erun.

"My…..Erun…Emperor Erun…What do we do?" – asked shaking knight.

"We…. We had lost the last of our armies. The golems and the demonic beast, our last remaining aces… They are all gone….."

"We still have the remains of the Apollo factions. They need time to mobilize and we can always produce more golems as well as summon more demons. I still have the demonic arm I had received from the Hell Lord, while we can also definitely scavenge the materials from the destroyed golems, we have necessary factories, all we need are materials." – said emperor calmly.

"But…. THAT WILL TAKE TIME!" – said panicking knight.

"And we have that time. The enemy was forced to retreat." – said emperor.

"The enemy needs also to defend their territory, so they won't be able to move around freely and considering the fact that they did not attacked us would suggest that the they don't know about our lack of the soldiers, or that they are wary of any possible traps."

"Anyway, HEY! MICHEL! ARE YOU HERE!?" – shouted emperor before moments later another knight walked through the doors and entered the office.

"I…. I'm here." – said the exhausted knight named Michel.

"How is the situation with the neighboring kingdoms?" – asked emperor while checking some documents.

"None of them agreed to cooperate?" – asked the emperor after not receiving any reply from the knight.

"N-no." – replied knight Michel.

"All of them gave same answer… There wasn't even any room for negotiation. They didn't even bothered when I possible offered some of the empire territory like you suggested…. Non…. They all just replied with straight no."

"Well, this is screwed up…. I guess there is no easy option. Focus on our- "

"Emperor! Your nose!" – said the first knight, cutting off the emperor.

Emperor reached with his hand and swiped his nose, only to see his hand covered in his blood, while the blood continues to drop from his nose, onto his documents on the desk.

"How…. How long…. How long you had been working for, your majesty?!" – said worried knight Michel.

"Does it matter?" – said the emperor as he grabbed some tissues and moved the documents away.

"How many hours?! How many days?! Weeks?! For fuck sake! You are still human! I know that you had gotten an demonic arm and all, but it only gives you power and doesn't turn you into some real ass demon!"

"For crying out loud!" – said the knight as he rushed to the emperor side in order to check up on him.

(Dammit… Now that I take a closer look on him…. His body doesn't look good… Don't tell me he doesn't even eat regally anymore?! Or maybe that arm has some sort of side effects?!) – though the scared knight.

"No! Your body is beyond the limit! You need to rest NOW!" – said the knight before moments later the knight Kamil Korok alongside several healers and knight came and moved away the emperor by force.

"Damn bastard." – said Kamil Korok as he stared at the desk filled with documents while also having some of them covered with the emperor blood.

"S-sir… What do we do?" – asked knight Marchel.

"Keep the news from the public. Nobody can find out that the emperor is overworking himself beyond the limit and the fact that he almost….. Just fuking keep quiet and shut down any rumors that would occur."

"Y-yes sir!" – said stressed knight, before moments later leaving the room and making knight Kamil Korok be the only one left in the emperor office.

(I know we are somewhat short staffed, since few guys that were in charge of some of these things had decided to try and run away while also robbing the empire, causing us to lock them up while also freeing up the spots…This isn't good…. We are looking for the guys to replace those runaways cowards and it won't take long…. But the current time? The time of the war? Not only that, but the news of the Hell Lord defeat had spread far and wide… This is causing the citizens to panic.)

(If we were somehow able to join hands with different neighboring kingdoms, then we would had an solid chance to crush them.)

(The neighboring kingdoms must had realized how powerful the Garog kingdom is AND how dangerous the demon lord ClownFrog is…. But thanks to the third prince greed for power and the first prince pride where he planned on invading neighboring kingdoms to expand his territory's, he even did the attacks and he did indeed stole some of the neighboring kingdoms territories.)

(Because of those two the relationship between the empire and the kingdoms are at the all-time low.)

(And the only person that could somewhat deal with the problem…. Princess Amelia…. She joined Garog kingdom side.)

(And as for the Garog kingdom, they had rescued many of the people that were captured from the neighboring kingdoms and prevented them from being turned into the humanoid monsters.)

(There is also the genocide that we had did on the whole church of the angel dragon god.)

(We did murdered an scumbags and traitors, that is known…. But the fact that we used their lifes to summon armies of the demons alongside one of the strongest beings of the hell, Hell Lord…. They may think that we may end up betraying them and using their lifes as sacrifices to summon more demons if not another Hell Lord.)

(Even if we somehow managed to recover and launch an attack, it won't be enough. The Garog kingdom like Erun said must had prepared some forces to defend themselves against any possible attacks launched by the neighboring kingdoms.)

(There is also the demon lord ClownFrog, he wasn't slain…. And he probably had moved away the secured corpse he had obtained from the battle against Hell Lord army.)

"Sir! We have problem!" – said the servant.

"Several nobles and the knights had decided to flee and join with the Garog kingdom!"

"…. And? It's not like- "

"Its Margrave Ash! H-he is one of the nobles trying to escape!" – said the servants, cutting off the knight mid question.

"And he plans on exposing the informations about the state of the Oin empire to the Garog kingdom!"

(Nobody knows the true status of the empire, even high ranking figures and citizens…. Exact for some of the people….. And one of those people is margrave Ash…. The Garog kingdom isn't aware of our current state, but if he were expose us now…..)
