[VRMMO] Dead One

Upon emperor arrival and the reveal of his secret plan had been made known, the church members and the mages began their preparations for the summoning.

(I guess I have for now wait and observe and as soon as opportunity pops up I will act.)

The priest and mages continues their preparations, setting up the summoning circles for hours to the point that the giant open space was now filled with countless scribbles and markings.

"…. Energy sources are operational. They are ready to operate both mana and holy mana." – said the mage right next to the giant tubes.

"The calibration are also good." – said the mage who was checking the magic circle alongside the priest.

"What about the connection?" – asked the emperor.

"All good sir! We can open up the summoning gate at any moment now!" – replied the paladin.

"Good." – replied the paladin.

"All personal. Move outside the circle and start the summoning preparations! It's time!"

"Yes sir!" – replied mages and priest.

"…."

(Dammit! At this rate they will really summon something.) – though Oron.

(But I don't know where to aim!)

(I tried looking for some weak or special points of the ritual, but I can't find any…. Expect for the ring.)

(However its highly guarded and that fuking weird mage is also on the lookout.)

(I doubt even assassinating the emperor will do anything right now.)

"Sir! All personal had been moved and the circles are ready. We can begin." – said the mage.

"Good." – replied emperor.

"ON MY SIGNAL! ALL THE PRIEST AND MAGES BEGAN APPLYING THEIR ENERGY! THE RITUAL WILL NOW BEGIN!" – shouted the emperor as all the priest and mages began taking their position.

The emperor approached the pedestal that had the ring on top of it before then activating the pedestal itself.

"…. Begin."

As soon as the emperor commanded, the priest and mages began activating the magic circles though the room that began connecting with each other and before made an entire ritual circle had been activated.

The energy from the circle flew out into the air, forming symbols and words that combined and all flew in one spot, forming an sphere that began forming an gate.

The bone ring itself began gathering energy before then instantly flying towards the sphere of energy, causing it and the sphere to fuse together and open up and gate that began getting bigger and bigger, emanating an large amount of energy that caused many of the priest to get push back.

The gate then fully transformed and opened up and as soon as it did, an large beam of energy came out of it and flew upwards towards the underground roof before then starting to change.

The energy began growing and taking shape, before then exploding, but not causing any damage.

Claws, wings, fangs, feathers. All began taking shape and form.

Before long, the figure began appearing in front of the bewilder priest and mages began growing in size.

The figure broke its shell of the light and moments later, an giant angel dragon emerged from the light itself.

"Beautiful." – said the priest.

"The son of Karaoix, Karwowth had arrived upon your plea for mercy."

The priest bowed and prayed in front of the dragon while the mages remained silence.

"Hm?" – the dragon noticed an single person approaching him head on.

"Greeting o mighty dragon of heavens. I'm the emperor of the Oin empire. Erun Oin."

"Oh? An emperor you say?" – said the Karwowth.

"Be pleased. You stand before me."

"You may bow down and show me your hospitality."

"Eh? Why would I bow my head to the idiotic bastard like you?" – asked emperor Erun.

"Eh?" – everybody stared confused at the Erun upon hearing what he just said, even causing the dragon to get dumbfounded alongside Oron.

"…. W-what did you just said?" – asked confused dragon.

"I said what I said you dumb bastard. Or are you just an dragon in name and in reality you are nothing more that bird that was fed with golden spoon through its entire life to the point it didn't even realize that its nothing more than some fat bird." – said emperor, causing all priest to drop their jaws and remain completely silent.

"YOU DARE TO DISREPERCT ME?! MORTAL?!" – shouted the furious dragon, scaring the priest, but not the mages that remained stone cold.

"Disrespect? Ha! As if there would be any respect shows to you or anything like that." – said the emperor while laughing at the dragon face.

"Do you really think I'm dumb? Do you really think I don't know about your dirty deeds? Of your god?"

"I know everything."

"About how you fabricated the story of the Amadeus, the true god of the Oin empire."

"He wasn't evil dragon. He was just victim that served loyally and worked together with their people, even though he was worshiped as an god."

The dragon swinged down its claws, trying to crush the emperor.

But as it was about to, the dragon claw was chained up and instantly stopped in place, surprising and confusing the dragon, before moments later the magic circle that was used for his summoning opened up, shooting an giant blade that pierced right through the dragon entire body.

"GHU!?" – the dragon coughed out its blood instantly.

(W-what?!) – though the confused dragon as he tried to move, only for several more chains to pop up and bind the dragon while also making it fall down and cause the blade to penetrance even deeper, causing the dragon the dragon to scream in agony as its blood gusted out.

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" – shouted confused priest.

"RELEASE THE HOLY DRAGON! NOW!" – shouted furious paladin as it drew his sword.

The church force got ready to fight, but as soon as they were about to, the walls ring behind the priest opened up, shooting up countless chains with blades that pierced and either bounded or killed the priest on the spot.

"?!"

(W-what is going on?! Why I can't use my holy powers?!) – though confused paladin that couldn't use his power at all, be it physical or holy ones.

"Don't bother." – said emperor.

"The magic circle we set up had two purpose."

"The first was for the summoning of this guy."

"And the second is cursed seal."

"The energy you had provided was connected to these devices behind you. You powered them up and you turned them into weapons that would only work against you."

"And as for you big fella. How do you like the taste of your own medicine?"

"B-bastard! What did you done to my body?!" – shouted furious dragon as he bleed out from its mouth and wound.

"Can't you tell?" – asked emperor while approaching the dragon.

"It's the same thing that you bastard had used to betray the Amadeus and kill him."

"The remains of the mad demon lord of poisons."

"?!" – the dragon eyes got wide opened in fear.

"What with the surprised look? Did you though that you gotten rid of your crime tool without nobody noticing?"

"Your church is nothing more that bound of terrorist and idiots that think they can become gods."

"Of course they didn't gotten rid of the weapon and of course they had more of the demon lord remains in secret."

"Stealing the remains and getting rid of the witness was easy, since the higher ups of the church kept quiet about it."

"Well, obviously this weapon wasn't at its best and needed time for reforging. This thing isn't strong enough to kill being like you."

"But it is able to weaken you to the point make you completely powerless for the real ritual to start."

"Real ritual? What are you talking about?" – asked confused and scared dragon.

"And that is the contract." – said the emperor as he snapped his fingers.

As soon as emperor snapped his fingers, the ground beneath the giant magic circle began crumbling and shattering, completely destroying magic circle that was used to summon the dragon.

However, once the entire gigantic magic circle was destroyed, another one was revealed.

"By the way. I should probably explain why I summoned you in the first place as well as why I gathered all of these people serving you here." – said the emperor.

"Well, the answer is obvious."

"You all are nothing more than sacrifices."

"?!"

"YOU BASTARD! YOU ARE TRYING TO SUMMON AN DEMON?!" – shouted furious yet scared dragon.

"Pretty much." – said the emperor calmly.

"Anyway, begin."

The soldiers nodded before then starting to take out their blades and starting to walk around, murdering the bound priest and paladins left and right, causing their blood to start filling out the engraved magic circle carvings, surrounding the dragon in the bloody magic circle.

"Well then. Time to offer you up." – said the emperor while putting his hands together alongside mages.

"!?"

"YOU BASTARDS! DO YOU THINK YOU WILL GET AWAY WITH THIS?! THERE WILL BE NO REDEPTION FOR ANY OF THIS! YOU WILL GET TO HELL! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU WILL- "

"Oh shut it already." – said the emperor, causing the giant magic circle to start glowing and releasing the light that began swallowing up the giant dragon.

The dragon began screaming in agony as its body and soul were getting torn to shreds by the light while the blood of the slaughtered priest and paladins were filling out the magic circle.

However, while all of that was happening, an giant wall of arms suddenly sprouted around emperor as an projectile of fire, curse and poisons came flying and colliding with the wall, causing an massive explosions.

"…."

"Huh…. So, we had an rat here." – said the emperor Erun as out of a blue an weird unknown mage was standing right beside him.

"Tch."
