[VRMMO] Dead One

"Moon elf?" – asked ClownFrog with his eyes wide opened.

"Yes…. If what you said to me is true, then the elf that you had encountered was an high moon elf." – said queen Arrianhi.

"But…. I honestly though they went extinct?" – said unsure queen.

"?"

"Extinct?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Yes…. Honestly…. Before I was cursed, these many years ago and when I was still an child, I did meet with the moon elves once…. Even during my age, they were consider as an extinct species alongside the sun elves who were their counterpart." – said queen.

"However, after I grew up, these elves ended up dying in the accident when an massive tsunami hit our seaport city."

"…. I even saw their corpse and confirmed their death myself. They were close friends with me…. Honestly, they even believes themselves that they are last of their kind as well."

"I even helped them look around once when they were still around, but nothing. I didn't found anything about moon or sun elves."

"…."

"Still, it seems you know something at least, right?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Yes, I do." – said queen with concerned look.

"Then can you tell me?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Okay. I will tell you what I know." – said the queen.

Long time ago, there existed two different races of elevens. Before then forest elves and the night forest.

They were known as sun elves and the moon elves.

Many people think that the sun elves and the moon elves are the ancestors of the forest elves and the dark forest elves, but in reality its bit complicated.

The sun elves and the moon elves are the races that were blessed with mana.

The amount of mana that an elven child belonging to these races were also massive.

However, the main difference was the how these elves handled magic.

The moon elves were able to handle all four basic elements and all combined elves.

However, the sun elves were able to handle 3 type of magics with ease.

Light. Darkness. And harmony magic.

Not only that, but their physical abilities were far superior compare to the moon elves.

The moon elves specializes in magic, while sun elves exceeded at physical powers.

Honestly, these two races of elves lived in harmony AND they were one of most powerful races in this world as well.

But, that kind of power obviously made them over prideful and greedy…. However, there were also other people that wanted their power or feared them…. And so, it didn't took long for an large scale war to break out.

At first the elves were winning any elves. Moon elves magic and the sun elves might…..They were winning more and more territories and enslaving more beings…. However, this made them greedier and more prideful with each passing moment…. And in the end, their pride and greed made them even turn against each other. The sun elves and the moon elves ended up waging wars against each other.

However, this was also an big problem, since they were already waging war against other nations…. And that resulted in the horrible outcome.

An all out massacre.

The sun and moon elves were getting completely wiped out and not only that, but about 50% of their entire race was wiped out…However they did not given up and continued fighting.

In the end, people started seeing the moon and sun elves as dangerous monsters, resulting in the hunt that was aimed at exterminating those races.

For years they were hunted down and killed.

Many believed that something like drinking their blood may result in them getting their strength or some other shit.

"…. So, what you are saying is that there are 2 races. Sun elf and moon elf. However, they got too greedy while also people desire their power, resulting in the sun and moon elf getting wiped out?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Yes." – replied the queen.

"Okay…. Then was is the relationship of the moon and sun elves with the forest elves and the dark forest elves? Are they like distance relatives?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Well… Yes." -replied the queen.

"From what I know, all elven races came from the single race known as the ancient elves."

"I honestly don't know the whole story, but from what I know these ancient elves would split and became different races."

"Forest elves, dark forest elves, sun elves and moon elves."

"However, since the moon elves and the sun elves were eradicated very long time ago, their stories were kind of forgotten."

"There may had been even other elven races…. But so far I only know 4."

"Anyway, the sun and moon elves races were eradicated long time ago and what I know, there was nothing. I straight up heard nothing about moon or sun elves."

"Maybe there lived once in this kingdom more sun and moon elves before I was ever born…. But the problem is that all the people from my age before I got cursed well… They are all dead."

"And some people that may had some informations, the family of moon elves…. They died… So, yea, I don't know anything."

"No. You had already given me a lot of informations." – said ClownFrog.

(There is an forgotten elven species, the moon elves working for the 'benefactor'? Not only that but an high elf on top of that?)

(Well, now we know what race that grey skinned elf belong to…. But does that really tell us anything?)

(I mean, even is she is an moon elf, that doesn't mean shit that all other people working for the 'benefactor' or the 'benefactor' themselves are either sun or moon elves.)

(If that elf was something like man made, then maybe we would get some leads?)

(We know what race she is at least, but that doesn't gives us any leads regarding the 'benefactor'.)

(I guess the only one way to find anything is to….. Use the ring and book that Lil….. She did found them, right? She really didn't sold them.)

"Huh. So, you don't get to die today, eh?" – replied ClownFrog while he and Lil were in the workshop alongside Blueberry.

"Anyway, you said Blueberry is currently working on the ring, yes?" – asked ClownFrog while looking through the class window.

"Yeb." – said Lil.

"Huh…. Hey Blueberry." – said ClownFrog as he walked towards Blueberry.

"Hm? ClownFrog?" – asked Blueberry while turning around, seeing both Lil and ClownFrog approaching.

"Is everything okay with the ring? How long it will take to repair it?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Well… Its not about repairs at all." – said Blueberry.

"The state the currently ring is in isn't an state of corrosion or rust. It's an cursed seal."

"It was only made look broken, meaning that repairing it won't do anything, since it's not even damaged."

"What you need is to get rid of the seal."

'I'm currently doing that and with my current skills and tools… It shouldn't take too long for me to get rid of the seal."

"It is cursed, just how Lil said…. However, the seal on this thing is bit tricky."

"I will ask our priest to help out in the curse removal while I will try to get rid of the seal."

"Both of the items are affected by very high tier seals and this isn't something you can never find in the beginner areas."

"For example. There is an door that is sealed and you can't break it, but if you destroy the four pillars powering up the door, then the seal will came lose."

"Or some items like an treasure chest that needs an special key to open it up. Those kind of situation."

"If you add an "keys" and "locks", it will empower the seals."

"However, this ones? They do not have anything like locks, they are just that strong."

"Even if you figured out that the ring isn't damage, the people around the starting area would be never be able to lift the seals."

"Why the fuck you had that is an quiet interesting question?"

"…. Hm…. Well, there must had been SOME leads…..Maybe you missed something?" – said ClownFrog.

"Nope. I even searched around the village once again later on. So, yea. Nope." – replied Lil.

"Maybe there was some NPC in the area that you missed?"

"What do you mean? I looked everywhere around the starting area! There was nothing! I fuking spend month looking around!" – said annoyed Lil.

"Lil. What is your class name?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Anyway, I guess we will need to find some witches then." – said ClownFrog.

(Wait. If that is true, then that moon elf working for the 'benefactor' maybe an witch or maybe related to them!) – though ClownFrog.

(She has the same class as Lil and has even an upgraded variant.)

(That means she has that witch class.)

(But if she does have it, then how did she acquired... Wait. How the hell we would find witches in the first place?)

(Damn. Would any witches even show themselves if we just say "We are looking for witches"? Would that even work?)

(Hell. Are there even any witches on this continent?)

(There were definitely some in our previous continent, considering that place set up and stuff… But what about this continent?)

(Would we find any witches here?)

(Hell, even if we do, shouldn't we look for the witch NPC near the place where Lil found her class book?)

(But she found in an completely different continent. Not even in the one where me and the other started in…. Fuck me.)

(Let's hope that this ring and book will provide us some answer, since this maybe the only thing that could possibly give us leads regarding that moon elf.)

(And possible led us to the 'benefactor' identity.)
