[VRMMO] Dead One

With the conquest of the capital city as well as the territory around it, the Garog kingdom had managed to acquire large amount of territory.

Not only that, but many of the guild bases, the temporarily bases of the rankers AND the base of the Red Lion guild had been taken over, resulting in them getting kicked out.

True. They will attack us, especially the Red Lions, so what? Let them come.

However, its all fun and game…. But the problem is the prince Apollo.

We don't know what had happened to him, but what we do know is that he was removed from the competition for the throne.

So, 3 out of 4 people that were battling for the throne…. Only one remains. Prince Erun Oin.

And now, by the right of the contract, prince Erun has now became the emperor Erun, the new emperor of the Oin empire.

This isn't good.

The empire was divided, even during the war, but now things will somewhat calm down with there being only 1 ruler.

There is also one more problem. Amelia had no choice but to reveal her alleges to the Garog kingdom.

This…. This was an stupid move, but she didn't had any choice.

Well, this proves that she still thinks that the Oin empire is fucked. If she though that the Oin empire was fine, then she would had betrayed us right now right there.

This also proves that the Oin empire is too much exhausted to fight back and this also proves that we will win this war….. In her eyes that is.

But right now, that fuking 'benefactor' may throw an wretch in our plans and give the Oin empire chance to recover.

Oin empire is at their weakest right now and we can crush them.

The war between the siblings.

The humanoid monsters.

All of those things weakened the Oin empire strength and their connections with the neighboring nations.

If we were to fight the Oin empire where there wouldn't be any of those things, then we would have an hell of a time and the war would probably last months.

However, now with the current circumstances, the situation for the Oin empire is pathetic.

There is also the fact that we did an surprise attack on them and stuff while also causing the people of the Oin empire lose faith in the empiric family upon hearing about the sins and other bullshit they did.

This resulted in chaos, distrust and confusion, all this faction had caused Oin empire to not be able to perform well in action as well as cause many people to straight up ignore the orders of the rulers.

There is also the fact that the people of the Oin empire are in constant fear as well. Reason? Vampires.

Outbreaks of vampires spreading around and attacking soldiers, causing soldiers and citizens to suspect each other.

The vampire infection plan we were using was effective…. But I doubt this chaotic plan will work anymore.

The reason being is the new emperor now having an close alliance with the church of the heavenly dragons.

Vampires and the holy power doesn't go hand to hand and that will obviously result in the vampire infection being now less effective.

Still… From what we know is that the church wasn't at it best in the recent years, so maybe they won't be as problematic as I think?)

However… I have the staff from the Forgotten World on me.

These guys may attack us in order to get the staff. I did send the distraction, making it look like we are transporting the staff in secret, but would they bite it? Honestly, I don't even know if that bait would even work.

There were talks of whether or not we should give up on the march and conquest of the first prince territory, but the current circumstances we continued.

Anyway, back to Amelia.

er betrayal is now known far and wide, and obviously this resulted in one thing. The emperor had ordered the princess Amelia to be captured for treason.

However, Amelia gave an counter argument that she is doing that to safe her people and will be not taking part in this war, saying that she just want to safe people lifes.

She says that the Oin empire had already lost and that there is an new enemy on the loose, the one that unleashed the humanoid monsters and lend them to the real traitor of the Oin empire, Simon Oin.

However, the emperor Erun stated that this speech is false and all she cares about is the position.

Still, that speech managed to influence some of the empire soldiers, realizing that if they side with the princess Amelia, they won't have to die. There were already the citizens of the Oin empire that decided to join the Garog kingdom AND they were spared.

So, it's not like people were not aware of the possibility of just changing sides, IF they have not done anything against Garog kingdom.

The target of the Garog kingdom is the Oin empire and their high ranking figures such as nobles, however there were exception to this being the princess of the empire and her retainers who were noble.

However, many nobles feared doing that, since they are aware that they may lose their noble status or maybe they could end up being imprisoned since they were supporting the empiric family.

And so, the people of the empire were divided.

Some wanted to join the Garog kingdom by siding with the princess, while some others wanted to remain in power and stayed with the emperor.

This obviously led to chaos, since many of the soldiers and civilians did wanted to run away and don't take part in this war, since there was an easy way out, but that obviously caused an conflict as the nobles used their military to stop these people from escaping. However, their approach was… "Forceful" and that obvious did not make thing end up nicely.

People think that the emperor went mad or that he is too greedy and does not want any of his power being taken away, this resulted in the people being more forceful while leaving the empire and joining up with the princess while also causing the people of empire lose.

But, its not like the new emperor did not tried doing anything. He tried "speaking reason to his people", for some it worked while for some it didn't.

Welp, he can try, but I don't know what he will do.

I heard and saw the second prince tactic and he can be annoying; he did hit us multiple times with annoying assaults in the past before the whole invasion force they launched.

He is also the second strongest prince in the whole empire with the second strongest faction that was able to rival the first faction in power…. However, this isn't all.

We are exhausted.

We were fighting for nonstop and many of our non-created soldiers such as humans and antmans are exhausted.

Not only that, but the battle with the organization army had exhausted our troops somewhat and since we were dealing with undeads, we didn't managed to receive any corpse from them.

Not only that, but we didn't wiped out the first prince army, most of them run away when they had an chance.

We are exhausted. We lost many troops and a lot of our equipment need repairs.

We can't do any more conquering, we physically can't.

All we can do is to get to the Amelia territory and create an escape path for her and the people that wish to join us.

But… The question remains what will the new emperor do.

"We are not going to do anything!?" – said confused Hawk as he and other nobles stared confused at the second prince.

"My pri- I mean, my emperor, why?!" – said confused young noble.

"Simple, do you want to murder your own people?" – said the emperor Erun Oin.

"BUT THIS IS MADNESS!" – shouted furious elderly noble.

"Are we really letting that bitch get away after openly betraying the Oin empire?!"

"She needs to bear the consequences and now is the best time to attack!"

"The Garog kingdom forces are definitely exhausted, we can use this!"

"Not only that, but our spies that were among the first prince forces stated that the new undead army had appeared and they were not with the Garog kingdom, in fact, it seems they were enemies. That new army fought the Garog kingdom and since they were undeads, the Garog kingdom did not managed to replace their own undeads."

"There was also the fact that this new army was strong enough to wound the Garog kingdom army as well."

"Sure! Lets fallow your stupid plan of sending our exhausted soldiers at the exhausted enemy army! This will gives us an huge advantage! An brilliant plan! WOW!"

"I'm going to say it straight. Idiot like him had only caused more harm than good, straight up attacking us all." – said the emperor.

"And I won't forgive any kind of action that would result to the similar result."

"Do you understand. Get greedy like idiots and attack the empire like that and you are done for. Capis?"

The noble stayed silence and after sometime the gather had ended, leaving only the emperor Erun and the guild master of the Scarlet Gryphons behind.

"I understands…. But still, I got to ask. What will we do with the princess Amelia? Are we really just going to let her go?" – asked Hawk.

"The people in her territory are still "UNDECIDE" of whenever or not they wish to join the Garog kingdom or they wish to remain with the empire."

"However, if we were to attack, those people that had not decided their sides yet would end up getting scared of us, thinking that we may end up forcing them to be with the empire against their will and that will obviously won't end well."

"Probably around 50% or maybe 75% people had still not decided their sides. There will be also a lot of people that would leave the Amelia side, since she had betrayed the empire."

"So, its better if we don't do anything and have people decide their sides."

"Still, I don't think we would lose an 50% of the people. Around half it will definitely go to the empire."

"Not only that, but like you said, the Garog kingdom invasion force is wreaked, meaning that if they would try to permanent conquer the land, they would become the easy targets and if they were not to do it, then we can easily reclaim most of the territory that once belonged to the Apollo."

(The humanoid monsters were already bad news every since they had first appeared…. But they were also not at their best since the one in control back then was Simon who sucked at commanding armies and his generals were nothing more than greedy and overconfident fools.)
