[VRMMO] Dead One

"FUCK! WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE THINGS?!" – shouted the Red Sword knight as he and the other knights were faceting against the weirdly shaped humanoid monsters.

"OUT OF THE WAY!" – shouted the giant Red Sword knight as he rushed in and swinged his great sword, slashing across weird monster, leaving an giant wound on the creature.

"HA!"

"?!"

The monster swinged its claws at the man, pushing back, but not only that, the wounds that the creature just received from the great sword had already started healing.

"?!"

"What kind of regeneration is that?!" – shouted confused giant knight.

"Shit. We had been attacking these creatures nonstop, but we only managed to take single one!" – said the mage palace guard.

"That regenerations of theirs is way annoying…. What the hell are those things in the first place?" – asked the giant.

"How the hell am I supposed to know?! They somehow managed to get inside the castle without us finding out…. There was also that weird hooded figure who was commanding these creatures… But somebody attacked it." – said the mage.

(But who attacked that person?)

(The master of the Red Sword order and the grand mage should be on the battlefield…. Did one of them found out about the situation and instantly headed back?)

The series of explosion could be heard and felt by the castle defenders, causing the knights to get scared and confused.

"!?"

"The hell is going on?!" – shouted the mage.

While the Red Sword order and the castle guards were dealing with the inhuman monsters, both Oron and the grey elf had started blasting each other with magic and crossbow bolts with enough power to wreck the insides of the castle, causing walls and pillars to straight up collapse from all the damage they were sustaining.

"[Nature Wrath]." – the grey skinned elf summoned several giant roots from the ground that flew straight towards Oron.

"[Hell Stride]." – However, the giant roots were all burned to ashes with the Oron crossbow bolt infused with fire.

"!"

Oron quickly leaped to the side, dodging extended fingers, before then firing with his crossbow three shots with rapid fire, but each shot were blocked by the plant arm shield.

"Tch."

(That shield is far more annoying than I had though.) – though Oron.

(But she isn't using it all the time, she used other form of defenses, meaning that the shield has either cooldown or it drains a lot of energy.)

(But this not goes with the fingers that she uses way more often.)

(It doesn't look like she can swing them, only extend them forward, but even so they have more than enough destructive power.)

"[Poison Stride]."

Oron unleashed his poison infused bolt at the grey elf, making the bolt fly through the walls and melt them upon contact.

The grey elf used its skill to create an wall of roots in front of it covered in chains, somewhat blocking the attack, however the first attack was distraction and three more bolts flew at the wall, each one enchanted with the skill.

Firs bolt hit the wall created by the elf, damaging it while the second bolt destroyed the wall and even hit the elf with the burst of fire, before the third bolt managed to land an hit on the elf shoulder.

[Liquid Curse is spreading.]

[Viper Kiss is spreading.]

The elf grabbed the crossbow bolt that was stuck in its body and tried to remove it, but for some reason she wasn't able to, as if the bolt glued itself to her body.

"[New Flower]." – the grey elf manifested an flower in the palm of her hand and began using it to get rid of the poison and curse spreading though her body, while also trying to remove the bolt that was attached to her.

However, as soon as the elf tried to recover, she sensed danger and looked in front of her, only to see Oron who instantly closed the distance between the two and aimed at her.

"Spread Out. Arm!"

"[Shotgun Crossbow]."

The elf enlarged its metallic arm right as the shotgun like blast was fired with Oron crossbow, hitting the elf metallic arm and pushing it back.

The elf tried countering attacking by swinging its arm, only for Oron to leap above the arm and find himself right above the elf.

"[Elephant Hunt]." – Oron unleashed an devastating blast right on top of the elf, catching her off guard with the crossbow bolt that posed an crushing force that was enough to dig the elf's feets into the ground.

"Tch!"

"Grow! Reach!" – the elf transformed its plant arm into whip form, before then swinging it at the Oron that just landed on the ground.

However, what she hit was an mirage left by [Mirage Trick], while the real Oron got into the elf blind spot and began stabbing her multiple times with his knife in the chest and the neck, forcing the elf to swing her giant metallic arm in order force Oron to retreat.

"!" – the elf looked furious at the Oron as she grabbed her bleeding neck.

"?!"

(I guess she realized that this is an cursed dagger coated in poison.) – though Oron.

"[Poison Mist]!" – Oron unleashed an blast of poisonous smoke at the grey elf, resulting in the entire area around her being covered with dangerous mist that also reduced the elf vision.

(Damn. This isn't good.) – though the grey elf.

(I can still sense him, but that poison is the problem….. As soon as I would try to recover, this guy will probably attack.)

"!"

"[Gate Wall]!" – the grey elf deployed an metallic wall right in front of it as several shots of burning crossbow bolts hit it, melting the parts of the metallic wall.

The elf tried using the time she just obtained to heal herself, but as soon as she tried using an recovery skill, she sensed Oron quickly moving around the wall, making the elf deploy an [Hard Earth Wall] to block another bolt of fire.

(Damn! He isn't letting up!) – though the elf as she used her detection ability in order to find Oron location as he quickly ran around in circles around elf and was firing with his crossbow nonstop, forcing the elf on the defense and blocking some of the attacks, but not all of them as she got hit multiple times with crossbow bolts that were covered in poison and had also been enchanted with the poison type skills, causing elf body to be filled with more and more poison with each passing moment, while also making it impossible for her to use any recovery skills.

(D-damn! This isn't good! There is way too much poison in my body!) – though the elf who tried countering attacking with her metal magic javelins, only to completely miss before then using her metal arm as an shield to block the explosive crossbow bolt.

(…. No. This isn't an right time yet…. But at this rate I won't have any choice but to use it!)

["Report."] – the voice ringed in the elf ears.

The ground beneath Oron feets began shaking, alarming Oron.

The [Earthquake] skill ended up destroying the already damaged enough causing the entire floor to sink down and fall below alongside Oron.

"BITCH!" – shouted Oron as he kicked off the bricks that buried him before then leaping out of the spot where he got buried, thinking that he was about to get attacked.

(Where is she?!) – though Oron as he realized the elf was gone, causing Oron to instantly use his detection skill to try and locate the elf.

(SHE IS TRYING TO GET AWAY!) – though Oron as he quickly climbed back up, retuning to the previous floor he was just in.

"I fuking couldn't give chase and needed to change my plans! I'm currently more focused on security the 'staff' as well because of that elf, since I don't know if she was alone or not!"

"Tell ClownFrog to get his ass here ASAP and spread the world to watch out for white grey skinned elf or an figure wearing an weird cloak. Got it?!"
