[VRMMO] Dead One

We…. Well, the original plan was to stay in the Kapan city bit longer, but because the third prince doing an extremely stupid move right now, he could possible accidently expose us before the people that escaped the Kapan city gets to the third prince, warning him.

So, we had no choice but to speed things up somewhat.

We focused mostly on covering up the mess we did with the wall as well as sending hunting parties to deal with the random slave hunters that were operating nearby. Thanks to hunting the slaves hunters and recruiting people, we were able to recruit even more people that were almost turned into slaves and then turned into materials for the monsters creation.

But I still don't get it. Does the third prince just have a lot of monsters materials stocked up? From what we had gathered to make those monsters of his, he needs humanoid beings be sacrificed and the monsters materials, either alive or dead.

If he had indeed stocked up corpse of the monsters, then why try and take over the Bloody Mountains?

I mean, I get the idea and reason why he would do it. Maybe he had plans for the future…. But something doesn't add up no matter how I or others look at it.

Or maybe the answer is simple. The third prince is extremely stupid. He had already proven though his actions of how an extremely stupid bastard he is and how greedy he can be…. But is that really it? I mean, I get if he wants to harvest materials early, but those people were still 'HIS PEOPLE'. He would lose complete trust and rebellions would end up popping up everywhere.

Is he really that greedy and stupid to the point he cannot see the real present and the future?

Well, that doesn't change the fact that this guy has an army of the created monsters and there is some unknown 'benefactor' behind him. The 'benefactor' maybe be the real enemy nobody is seeing, but the question is what are their goals? Kill everybody and take over the empire? Or maybe something else? Are we their enemies?

Well, we can find about it later, for now we sticked to our plans.

We didn't had much option but to inform the ex-slaves why we are moving bit early, however we also told them about the corpless and the golems we left behind and that they should use them as their soldiers and meat shields if necessary or even straight up sacrifice these monsters so they can escape in the worst case scenario.

We had also informed them that some of the vampire soldiers will be left behind to help them out and we had also informed them that the first rescue caravan is already on its way while the second one is about to set off soon.

Some of the ex-slaves were still shaken by the sudden change, but there was physical nothing we could do.

The slave hunters were killed and the wall was finally made looking "OKAY'…. So, without the further ado, we instantly set off.

The target: Kariopa city. An main base of operation third prince and the location where his monsters factory is located.

We don't know if the third prince is aware of the story we fed him being fake or not, but it would be nice if he still though that the info he was fed was real.

Anyway, our entire army marched through the third prince territory and did managed to rescue few villages, making them join our kingdoms, the rescue took no time at all, so there was no problems with us doing that.

However It did took our army sometime to travels all the distance, but we had finally managed to spot Kariopa city.

"…."

(Honestly, they can spot us from afar now…. But the question is if they had spotted us now? Or before? If now, then that means they are only started preparing now, if before, then that means that they had already finished their preparations.) – though ClownFrog as he led the army.

"So… They are 100% aware of us now… What do we do? Do we use those green guys to attack first?" – asked Rampage as she rode the demonic lizard mount.

"Nope. If they were already aware of us and there is 50% of that being the truth, then we would just lose our cavalry army for no reason." – replied ClownFrog.

"We will go with the siege and set up our siege equipment."

"According to the informations, this place would be even more fortified than Kapan city and considering that this place is also the birth place of those monsters while also being the main base for the third prince and his faction…. Yea, this will be long battle."

"So, what is the strategy?" – asked.

"Are we using the strategy from before? Break the enemy wall in single location and pour into the city?"

"Bad idea." – replied GreyHunt who rode on the demonic horse monster.

"The reason why our strategy worked before was because of our large number of the expendable monsters, but now the enemy will also have the similar kind of army."

"If we just break into one point, then our army could end up possible losing a lot of soldiers for no good reason."

"The better approach is to create an giant opening in the wall, allowing an massive amount of our forces to enter the city all at once."

"So, siege equipment and war spells to bust down the wall? Or are we going to aim at climbing it up in order to get inside the city and open up the gates?" – asked Rampage.

"Honestly, both options would be good… But we don't know what kind of enemies we will be dealing with." – said ClownFrog.

"Not only that, but can we really aim to fly over the enemies walls? What if they got way more anty air weapons stationary on top of the wall than Kapan city? My dragons would get shot down."

"The demon dragons are tough like hell and the bone dragons have an high regenerative ability and they can also heal themselves by consuming other undeads, but what if they would get attacked non stop by the anty air weapons? I could maybe break though the defenses, allowing me and the dragons to land, but they would still suffer some heavy damage from all that."

"And losing those dragons possible too early on is not worth it."

"We may be able to replenish our troops by using the enemy corpse, but it takes time."

"This time we need to play it safe and use the siege equipment and war spells to assault the enemy walls and break them."

"We have ammunition and fire power, meaning that we will be able to break those walls."

"However, the question is how will the third prince respond?"

"If he realizes we are planning to do it safely by breaking the walls first, then he won't have any other option but to send his forces outside the castle to confront us."

"If he is stupid, he will decide to just wait inside and just focus on using range attacks, thinking it will be able to weaken our forces before we break into the city, but unfortunately this kind of thinking is quiet stupid since a lot of our soldiers are undeads that can be replaced."

"…."

"So…. If the prince can think, he will send his forces after us. But if he is stupid, he will just focus on the long range attacks…. However, considering how stupid he was acting so far would suggest- "

"He maybe try focus on the range attacks." – said GreyHunt, cutting off Rampage.

"However, there is also good chance that the third prince will be just impatient and he would just send his army to 'DEAL WITH THEM INSTANTLY'. I can see that stupid guy doing something like that."

"There is also the slave hunters." – said ClownFrog.

"The third prince is trying to gather as many 'humanoid materials' as possible right now and we don't even need to ask why."

[Meanwhile: Castle]

"…."

*Sigh*

While the third prince was busy reading some documents, somebody burseted into the room, straight up kicking the door opened.

"?!"

"Hey! What is the bright idea?!" – shouted the third prince.

"M-MY PRINCE! ITS EMERGENCY!" – shouted the knight as he tried to catch his breath.

"An army! An army had emerged near the city!"

"?!"

"What?! Who?!" – shouted the third prince as he got up from his chair.

"Undeads! Vampire and golems! Its Garog kingdom!" – shouted the knight.

"?!"

(What?! Purple Hyena guild?!) – though the confused and scared third prince.

(But according to the report the Purple Hyena had retreated back to their city?!)

(And right now the first prince forces had started attacking us and the Green Riders are trying to keep them busy!)

(What the hell is going on?!)

(…. The report…. IT WAS FAKE?!)

(WAIT! HOW?! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!)

(Shit! I will have to find out about it later!)

"PREAPARE OUR FORCES NOW!" – shouted the third prince.

"MAKE THESE BASTARDS REGREAT EVER COMING HERE!"
