[VRMMO] Dead One

After the slaves located in the Kapan city were rescued and provided with some first aid, the slaves were then suddenly gathered up in one spot.

The gathered up slaves were still scared, angry, alarmed and nervous, since just only moments ago they were rescued, however they are also scared of the new army that just appeared out of the blue and taken over this place.

"Shit. Who are these guys?"

"I don't know. But they rescued us, right?"

"Idiot! They are not letting us leave this place! What if they want."

The slaves looked in confusion and fear as they saw the giant dragonian lich appear right before them.

"At ease everybody." – said ClownFrog.

"I know you all are scared and everything, considering what you guys went through, but I need to all listen to me, since this is important."

"First thing first. I need to introduce myself."

"Greetings. I'm ClownFrog. The king and ruler of the Garog kingdom."

"I'm also the one leading this army that had conquered the Kapan city."

"Currently, my kingdom, the kingdom of Garog is at the war with the Oin empire.

"That is the basic situation what is going on right now and who are we."

"And as for the current situation, let me explain."

"Our army had managed to break through the third prince defenses, the one who had enslaved you and was using the captured slaves to turn you into those things." – said ClownFrog as snapped his fingers, causing the vampire soldiers to throw the humanoid monsters onto the scene right in front of the slaves.

"Some of you are wondering what had happened to the slaves that were taken…. And those are results. They were turned into materials to create the humanoid monsters."

"The third prince planned to sell you to the corrupted nobles and merchants for some money, while using the rest of you as materials to create those things."

The slaves stared….. Conflicted, not knowing what to say upon hearing the situation. Some were terrified since some of the missing slaves were their families and friends, causing them to realize that some of these 'creatures' may had been originally the people they knew.

Some were furious. Some denied it. Some cried. Some screamed.

An conflict of many emotions erupted as ClownFrog continues his explanations.

"So, the reason why we are straight up holding you here against your will is simple. If you run now, you will end up being captured and would be either turned into slaves once again, or you will be killed and had your remains be used to create those things."

One by one, slaves started shouting, declaring their will to join the Garog kingdom, with in turn caused more slaves to get motivated and also declare their loyalty.

In the end, most of the slaves that had gathered had chosen to accept ClownFrog as their new king and the Garog kingdom as their new home.

"Huh…. You definitely know how to rally those guys." – said GreyHunt as he meet up with ClownFrog in the back.

"Well, sometimes hitting them with the truth right in the face is the best way to make them see the reality of the situation." – said ClownFrog.

"I did warned them about us and what I told them was the truth, an truth that earned their trust. I did not lied nor I made false promises. I only said the truth and they ended up placing their trust on me."

"If I lie to them and promise them false promises, then obviously they would trust me less."

"Huh…. I guess it was an good choice you were picked as the king." – said GreyHunt.

"Anyway, the situation with the slave have calmed down and we shouldn't have any problems right now…. But the problem is their numbers."

"We can't use these guys as soldiers since they are injured and exhausted, there is also an fact that a lot of people here are also civilians."

"If we want these guys to survive and recover, we need to bring them to the Garog kingdom."

"And I'm not talking here about having them walk there, we need caravans since a lot of people won't be able to journey on their foot and it's definitely not 40 or 50 people, but a lot of people, meaning that we will need a lot of the transport caravans."

"And beside the transport caravans, we would also need to assign an huge escort for all of these guys, if we are planning on moving them all at once."

"However, there is also the fact that preparing the necessary forces for the escort and the caravans themselves would take time." – said ClownFrog.

"Yea, and that is the problem, since we cannot turn back now and escort these people back to the Garog kingdom." – said GreyHunt.

"And even if we decided to do it, the third prince could possible target them since they would be around our army."

"So, the best bet we can do right now is to transport people bit by bit, carefully and safely, but that process will take time. Minimal amount of forces to protect the people and make sure that they won't be standing out and noticed, making them way less likely to get attacked by the third prince." – said ClownFrog.

"However, moving all of the people with this process will take time and while the process would be taking place, the people we just rescued would have no choice but to stay here for their safety."

"And the third prince would want to take back this place."

"Well, we were planning on turning this place as our base of operation in here. We had already started the repairs and creations of the monsters nests and factories." – said GreyHunt.

"Well… Yes. We also have enough supplies to feed our soldiers and the ex-slaves." – said ClownFrog.

"Undeads and golems don't need to eat, but vampires and the slaves we just rescued do need to eat."

"This place was filled with greedy nobles and merchants, so this place is filled to the brim with food, medicine and all other necessary stuff."

"They can survive for long time…. But we cannot drag it. We are still in the middle of the third prince territory and the longer we stay here, the more problems we could end up encountering."
