[VRMMO] Dead One

While ClownFrog and the rest of the members of the guild were focusing on strengthen their base and their forces, Oron alongside GreyHunt went on the solo mission into the deeper parts of the [Bloody Mountains] in order to find key locations belonging to either spider ruler or the feathered dragon ruler.

Oron went to the spider ruler, since the spider territory is far more dangerous in terms of detection, while GreyHunt went to the feathered dragon territory, since, if necessary, can brute his way in.

Before long the two of them had managed to successful infiltrate both ruler territory.

[You have received a whisper from the player Oron.]

["How the situation on your end?"]

"!"

GreyHunt opened his menu and began typing on the keyboard.

["Good. I'm not discovered yet, but there are a lot of monsters hanging here and there. But I think I maybe find something soon."]

["What about you?"]

["Not good."] – Oron.

["There are far too less monsters here, especially the spiders."]

["According to the info, there should be a lot of spiders around here, but there is barely any sentries and stuff."]

["Not only that, but I had spotted several spots where the battle definitely took place."]

"…. What?" – said GreyHunt.

(The area here is wrecks as well.) – though Oron while observing the destroyed area from top of the tree branch.

(We knew that the war was happening between the two rulers…. But this…. This isn't a good sign.) – though Oron while changing his location and hiding.

(There are few of those spiders roaming in the area, but according to the ox man's, the spiders, especially the children roam everywhere while adults wait and hide to ambush.)

(But…. No adults and only wild children and they are pretty much scattered around.)

(…. Did by any chance the war between the spiders and the feathered dragon ended already?!)

(Shit. It better not yet.)

Oron began running through the spider territory unnoticed and not engaging in any fights while making his way deeper and deeper into the territory.

However, while he was traveling, he noticed more and more traces of battle as well as noticeable lack of monsters in the area.

"…."

(Fuck. What the hell happened here?) – though Oron while noticing a cave that was visible melted by something.

(…Its not acid…. Heat. It was melted with heat.)

(Fuck. The ox man's said that the feathered dragon can wield some nasty dark fire that burns stuff to ashes.)

(Did that bastard was here?)

(The entire area looked completely wrecked.)

(The massive battle must have taken place in here.)

(Like not only this cave, but a whole area is…...Well, I think there is a chance that those rulers could have fought each other here for moment or something?)

(But there are no big battles happening or anything like that here!)

(GreyHunt said that his area has monsters….)

["GreyHunt. How many monsters you see in your area?"]

["Well, there is quite few. I really can't speak right now."] – GreyHunt.

["Then can you just quickly tell me this? Is the area you are in some sort of destroyed state? Like after the battle?"] – Oron.

["Well…. Nope."]

"…."

"Shit." – said Oron.

(This area has barely any spiders and there are several spots that were left after the battle…. Did spiders really have lost?)

Oron walked towards the entrance of the melted cave and entered it.

Upon entering the cave, Oron walked further in, before suddenly being stopped by the foul odor coming from afar.

"…."

"Yeb…. This place is a nest… Or more exactly it was…. Everything is in wrecks."

(It doesn't look like the main nest though…. Still, this is bad.)

(This place doesn't even have a single spider, even though it was supposed to be a nest.)

(This isn't good…. This is not good.)

Oron left the nest he was in and continues exploring the area while GreyHunt was also concluding his own investigation.

(There are a lot of these monsters here…. But I can definitely see a lot of injured ones…. Yea… According to the ox man's, the feathered dragon send monsters until they do as their told and die trying.)

(Did these monsters escaped?)

(No…. It doesn't seems to be the case.)

(Fuck…. Oron tried contacting me quiet weirdly…. And I kind of guess why.)

GreyHunt quickly hid himself as he saw a group of spider monsters walk through the group of other monsters.

"…."

(Oh shit…. I think those were the adult spider monsters.)

(But wait a fuking second, why the fuck they are here?!)

(Conquer and enslave of what remains…. Shit.)

[Sometime later in the Purple Hyena guild base – Meeting room.]

"The mountain devouring spiders were defeated?!" – asked Shri.

"Yea… I saw them being enslaved by the monsters serving the feathered dragon." – said GreyHunt.

"I also looked around and confirmed it wasn't just one or two, but a lot."

"Same here." – said Oron.

"The entire spider territory was turned into war zone and a lot of spiders were straight up gone. Both adults and children."

"And I couldn't find any traces of the spider ruler."

"Not only that, but multiple nests have been completely destroyed, beside the main nest."

"I wasn't really able to take a look at everything, but from what I can tell, it was also heavily damaged and not only that, but it was still somewhat functionable."

"But again, no ruler in sight."

"…. Fuck." – said GreyHunt.

"Yea… If we combine our facts together, we can definitely say one thing." – said Oron.

"The spider ruler has been defeated and the mountain devouring spiders were enslaved by the feathered dragon."

"…. Shit." – said ClownFrog.

"Wait, then doesn't that mean this is our chance?" – asked Rampage.

"There is no way the fight ended long time ago, since we were keeping our watch and stuff."

"It can only mean that the fight between the two must have ended very recently!"

"And you both said that the monsters you have found were badly beaten up and stuff, right?"

"So…. With how things are…. Shouldn't we get ready and destroy those monsters as well as get rid of that feathered dragon?"

"Well… We can." – said ClownFrog.

"But in reality, its bad idea."

"Yea, why not attack now?" – asked Shri.

"Because our base isn't ready yet dumbass." – said GreyHunt.

"We can create an army of undead monsters and all sort of other monsters with the help of our boss and Blueberry, but the problem is our base."

"What if we deploy all of our forces and while we clash, these bastards would attack and destroy our base?"

"Let's say the plan works, but our base is completely destroyed, then what?"

"But again, this is a perfect opportunity to attack…...Fuck." – said Oron.

"…."

"But I say we risk it." – said Oron.

"!"

"Huh… I wasn't expecting you of all people to say it." – said Shri.

"Shut up." – replied Oron.

"Anyway, if we wait too long and those bastards not only recover, BUT also fully recruit the spiders, then we maybe be fucked."

"Their forces will receive a huge boost in power and fighting them will be way harder…. The more we wait, the more we will be at disadvantage."

"But again, our base isn't secured enough, especially the new parts we just obtained. Our new expansion are still vulnerable to attacks." – said GreyHunt.

"We won't lose our main base, but the place we had expanded and build recently will maybe get destroyed and can we really risk it?"

"True. They are newly developed stuff, but still, losing it will hurt us."

"…."

"Then why don't we get rid of spiders?" – asked ClownFrog.

"We cannot leave our newly developed parts of base be destroyed and reinforcing them a bit will take a bit of time."

"So how about we instead just attack the spiders quickly while they are at their weakest, destroy the nests and completely remove the spiders from the feathered dragon army?"

"If we destroy the main hive and kill all spiders there, the feathered dragon will be at lose, since not only he lost some of his monsters during the war between him and the spider ruler, but in the end he would have gained nothing from it."

"….Hm…. It's definitely much safer option…. But I still say we should attack them now." – said Oron.

"The feathered dragon forces are currently perfect targets and we don't really need to worry about the spiders, since they are still only recently enslaved and were extremely weakened by getting beaten and recruited."

"I mean…. We don't need to worry about our defenses." – said Blueberry suddenly who said nothing through the entire thing.

"Dude…." – said Blueberry.

"Sure, 6 of us, the core members are consider the monsters and Lil and Ampi both posses the talent and power."

"However so does the other members of our guild."

"They may not shined too much or something like that, but they are more than strong enough to handle themselves."

"And you can definitely say it yourself that they are strong since you did trained few of them."

"These bastards weren't the strongest players out there during the tournament, but after it they ended up receiving an huge growth in strength."

"Honestly, these bastards are now consider as strong players."

"Not only that, but don't forget the fact that we also have ox man's."

"They maybe not fully recovered yet, but they can fight if needed."

"So even if that "IF" happens, our base shouldn't be destroyed too much or sustain critical amount of damage or maybe they will be able to prevent all the damage from happening."

"And if anything, they will be able to use that opportunity to level up as well."

"Not only that, but the sooner we get rid of the feathered dragon ruler and his monsters, then we will have way more easier time expanding and growing while also taking control over huge area."

"And what will happened if the feathered dragon and his monsters recover? How long it will take us then to eradicate them and how many resources we would use in the process?"

"It's not worth it."

"If anything, it maybe be even worth losing most of our newly acquired land."

"So I'm also in favor to attack the feathered dragon, now."

"Well, with me this is 4 against 2." – said Shri.

"Fuck it. She is right. We may end up waiting too many resources if we drag this on for too long." – said GreyHunt.

"Risky, but if we were to fight in the future instead, then we would waste too much time and resources."

"I change my vote. I'm also in favor."

"Fine… We will do it that way." – said ClownFrog.

"We will crush the feathered dragon and all of its servants, NOW!"

"So get ready you fuckers and prepare yourself and our troops as soon as possible."

"As soon as we are ready, we are moving out to the feathered dragon territory to claim that bastard head."
