[VRMMO] Dead One

After the first battle of the tournament happened, some other participants started fighting their own battles.

However, many people were still looking for their foes while others still waited for the enemy to come.

But some, had already spotted their next victims.

"…."

"There is no mistaking it…. Its that bastard ClownFrog!" – though the man who appeared to be ninja.

The man furiously held both of his blades while observing as ClownFrog continues increasing the number of his monsters without the care if somebody sees him or not.

(This is unexpected…. BUT ITS ALSO AN OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE MY REVENGE AGASINT THAT BASTARD!)

(During the war between Umil and Adernul kingdom, I tried to assassinate that bastard, only to get blowed up by some bubble!)

(Then he straight up appeared out of the blue as soon as I started working for the Paimon fanatics only to get blowed up some sort of tornado!)

(And now! That bastard will pay for humiliating me and I will show-)

Before the ninja could take a step forward a purple bolt poison pierced right through his head from the side.

"…. Oh…...Fuck…." – said the ninja as his body dropped down from the tree he was hiding onto the ground.

"Hm? What was that?" – said ClownFrog while turning around after noticing something fall on the ground.

"…."

"Why…. Why he don't use any stealth skills or something? He looked like ninja… Did he only looked like one? Or did he wanted to use it when he started moving? Either way he seemed quiet stupid." – though Oron with confused look after sniping the ninja player.

(Anyway, I didn't even knew that the ClownFrog was here with me. Its quiet lucky situation.) – though Oron while observing ClownFrog and his army of the monsters.

(Honestly, I don't think that assassin guy would have won or anything, since boss does posses some nasty detection skill that he keeps active around himself in those kind of situation. He would have spotted the assassin as soon as he got near him and would probably incinerated him.)

Oron left his hiding spot and rushed towards ClownFrog.

(Its better if he knows that it's me, I don't want go get friendly fired by him.)

ClownFrog looked at the corpse of the ninja player, realizing he was assassinated.

"…."

(Huh…. Ninja? Why do I feel like I met that guy?) – though ClownFrog.

"!"

"[Fire Burst]!"

ClownFrog noticed something moving among the trees and fired a wave of fire at the target only to be intercepted by the bolt of fire that hit the projectile midair and caused both projectiles to explode on contact.

"!"

"STOP! BOSS! ITS ME!" – shouted Oron who landed on the ground afar.

"?"

"Oh…. False alarm guys." – said ClownFrog to his undeads that were ready to fight.

Oron ran towards ClownFrog at full speed.

"For crying out loud, I know that is battle royal and that you cannot tell from foe and ally, but you almost blew me up." – said bit scared Oron.

"Sorry."

"Anyway, I see you are also here mate. Did you got here or you spawned in here?"

"I got spawned."

"Anyway…. I see you are already making the army of monsters. Are you planning on turning this city into some sort of territory of the demon lord or something?" – asked Oron.

"Well, that was idea. We are quite close to the center of the map, so there is good chance that one of the safe zones may appear here."

"I will be probably staying in this for a while, what about you?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Hm…. I think I will do the same. I will use you and your army as a bait while I go around and snipe people."

"Hm… Okay. Sounds good." – said ClownFrog.

"Then good luck with your hunt."

"Yea, same to you." – said Oron before disappearing in thin air.

(I guess I won't need to worry about Oron.) – though ClownFrog while signaling his monsters to move out.

(Oron can deal massive amount of damage with his crossbow and even if that doesn't kill somebody, it can still inflict extremely nasty damage over time that may finish the job.)

(Not only that, he does have some means of traveling extremely fast and even disappearing without trace, so he should have easy time hunting people down and escaping unscratched.)

"…."

"Anyway, you all, we will be moving around, trying to find a perfect location for our temporarily base."

"Move out." – said ClownFrog while leading his army of monsters behind him.

While ClownFrog and Oron were trying to conquer the city and turn it into their own battle field, other members of the Purple Hyena guild such as Blueberry were currently on the move.

Blueberry location right now was an underground cave labyrinth with many different paths stretching in different directions.

"…."

'Sigh'

"Seriously?" – asked Blueberry with bit annoyed expression while looking around.

(Of all places I ended spawning was an underground and not only that but a labyrinth? Why?)

(Damn… I really need to look around.)

While Blueberry was walking around the underground labyrinth, somebody rushed at her while hiding in the shadows.

(GOT HER!) – though the man while getting ready to stab Blueberry in the back with his daggers.

However, to the man surprise, Blueberry knew the man was behind her thanks to her detection skill [Dragonewt Territory] and fired her shotgun at the man from underneath her armpit, firing a devastating blast that light up the room as well as hit and revealed the man.

"?!"

The shocked man rolled on the floor before then stopping.

"H-…How?" – said the man while trying to grasp for the air and trying to get up.

However, while trying to get up, he saw some Blueberry feet right in front of his face.

The man tried quickly turning around in order to throw his dagger, but before he could do a mechanical sound could be heard before moment later then man head was cut clean off.

"…."

(Should I just blow this place up?) – though Blueberry while reloading her shotgun by removing a bottom part of the gun below the barrel and then replacing the entire part with new one.

(But wait… What If I'm somewhere extremely deep underground? Won't that straight up make things harder? I mean, what if I collapse the entire underground? Won't I get buried alive and then not be able to move in time to the safe zone?)

"…."

(Lets hold off the explosives if possible.)

Blueberry continues walking around the labyrinth, trying to find the exit.

However undenounced to her, she wasn't really underground, she was mountain in that was surrounded by the wasteland located on the middle bottom of the map.

While Blueberry who was trying to find an exit of the labyrinth, the member of the Purple Hyena guild who was located on the top right corner was walking around the boulder filled land.

"…."

(OH, FUCK ME!) – though Ampi.

(I think I spawned in the worst possible location.)

"Hey. Can anybody hear me?" – said Ampi while wearing a jewelry watch as well as holding a blue orb in her hand.

"…."

"Ampi?" – said the voice from the orb.

"!"

"Lil? Is that you?" – said Ampi.

"Yea… I'm here. Where are you?" – said the voice from the orb.

"Well… I'm somewhere near the right top corner of the map… Bit below it…"

"!"

"Wait, I'm right on the top right! Do you see a land without grass but only giant boulders from your location?"

"Hm…... Sorry, I don't see it. I'm in some sort of swamp area and the vision here sucks." – said Lil while looking around her surroundings, noticing the murky water everywhere as well as many dark trees surrounding her.

(Swamp?) – though Ampi.

(Hm… Without our current builds, fighting in the swamp type areas would give us huge advances….)

Ampi combined on top of one of the tall boulders and began looking around until she noticed a forest of black trees in the distance.

"I think I see your location from here. I will head your way." – said Ampi.

"By the way, did you managed to contact anybody?"

"Yea… But only for moment. I contacted with Cave, but then he seemed to have gotten into the fight and may have moved out of the communication device range." – said Lil.

"…."

"Sorry, but I need to talk short. By the look of things, I have somebody wants piece of me." – said Lil while noticing the lizardman tamer player approaching Lil alongside the dragonoid monsters.

"…."

(She disconnected….) – though Ampi as she saw device glow fading.

"!"

Ampi summoned the heavily armored skeletons to her side and acted as a wall to block a fire ball that she saw coming in the last second.

The fire ball hit the skeletons, blowing them up and killing two of them.

(?!)

(What?!) – though shocked Ampi.

(The swamp skeleton were killed with one hit?!)

"Oh? You survived that?" – said female voice.

"!"

"[Croco Bite]!"

Ampi manifested a giant alligator monster made out of mud and bones that rushed towards the boulder where the voice came from. The giant alligator bit into the boulder crushing it and then exploding alongside the boulder.

"Ah…. That was quiet nasty." – said the girl voice from before, now being heard from somewhere above.

Ampi looked around and saw a tall female elf woman in ropes with beautiful figure and long blond hair.

"Hm? Now that I took a closer look at you, aren't you extremely cute?" – said the elf player.

"…."

(Shit. What was that?! That fire spell looked quite deadly and had dealt with the swamp skeleton quiet easily…. They maybe weak, but they possess way more vitality than regular skeleton servant and they also posse lesser-weak regeneration ability.) – though Ampi while trying to understand the situation she was in currently.

(But she one shoted two of them? Was she holding back or going all out?)

"?!" – Ampi suddenly noticed something that was located on the girl robes while the wind was blowing at them, revealing a symbol.

(That symbol on her ropes…... Red Lions?!) – though Ampi while observing the mage.

(An elf mage that is part of Red Lions guild and also wields powerful fire magic…. Lilium!)

(Shit!)

(I heard about her. She is one of the strongest members of the Red Lions…. This isn't good.)

(Why the hell I had to run into her out of all the people from get go?!) – though Ampi while getting to fight by summoning bunch of undeads and the swamp monsters to her side.

"Hm?"

"So you want to fight?" – said the woman with cheerful voice.

"YOU TRIED TO BLOW ME UP TO BITS!" – shouted annoyed Ampi.

"Well… What do I say… I just want to advance to the finals as soon as possible, but I honestly wasn't expecting to run into a cute girl like yourself that can bite like that!"

"So let's see what you are made out of!" – said the elf girl while manifesting several fire sphere around herself.

"…."

(Oh shit…. I may die here.) – though Ampi, realizing that she maybe indeed in big trouble.
