Sirus Cruel who used his attack to create a smoke screen for himself was now running away at full speed away from ClownFrog.

(He even using undeads or the demons, but he is easily overwhelming me in 1vs1?!)

Sirius looked back and saw ClownFrog flying straight towards him.

(SHIT!)

(I heard he can fly fast, but common!)

(He is probably using magic or something to boost himself as well!)

The mercenary looked up and saw several fire balls coming his way.

The mercenary blocked or dodged the explosive projectiles, but it did visible slowed him down as it allowed ClownFrog to close distance even more.

"[Wind Path]."

ClownFrog boosted his speed even more, closing the distance between him and the mercenary who was keep trying to run away.

The man used skill [Quick Movement] to increase his speed and regain the lost distance.

"…Tch."

(This guy is fast…... I can probably catch up to him…. But.)

ClownFrog curved while flying, changing his direction towards the town.

(I don't have time for him right now.)

(I need to quickly get back to the town and check what the hell happened and then do something about kidnapped people.)

ClownFrog flew back towards the town as the mercenary was running away, he saw how ClownFrog stopped chasing him.

"Hey. Hera."

"Can you hear me?"

["All male slaves we had captured… They are dead. We had no option and even if we did captured them, they would die. Their bodies were unstable and had limited lifespan."]

"I'm coming your way. Just make sure that the slave girls are safe and question any of the captured bastards for informations."

After giving up on chasing down the mercenary, I quickly returned back to the town.

As soon as I came back, I saw what kind of mess this place had become.

"I checked the girls just in case, but they seemed fine."

"How many slaves?"

"Over 50. Maybe even more."

"That is a lot? I saw before only around 30 girls."

"Yea, however there is chance that there is still more slave girls here, so we are keep looking. There is a chance that some slave girls were already brough by somebody in the town above ground, so we are trying to find out where they are and if they are really slaves."

"And while we were doing that, we discovered something."

"As it turns out this place was some sort of slave auction house. A small one, but big enough to hold a small slave auction."

"Most of the captured girls are quite young and only few adults woman were captured. Probably because they looked beautifully."

"Are there any more black merchants you had captured?"

"…. We captured few…. But we found another guy who seemed in charge of the slave selling. He died the same way as the guy in charge via curse."

"Another conspiracy, huh?" – said ClownFrog while grabbing his head.

Curse that kills the person in order to silence them.

Third prince.

Third prince faction.

Third prince and black market works together.

Monster taming idea.

Illegal slave trading.

One of the candidates to the position of the emperor.

Third prince weird and stupid bold moves.

Is the third prince idiot? Or is he somebody puppet?

Is he planning rebellion by any chance?

For what purpose he is making those monster humans?

(It wasn't intentional, but we discovered a lot about the third prince and his faction, but then we had gained a lot of new question that we don't have answers for.)

(What is that bastard planning? Is he really an "Bomb" that we need to destroy before he detonate before he hit both us and the empire?)

(But again, first and the second prince are some powerful factions…. And there is also that first princess….)

In the end, we managed to rescue and recruit all the slave females to our side.

Well, some of them realized that they had no option since the empire would want to get rid of them, while others wanted to get revenge on the empire for what they did to them and their families.

As for the male slaves… We did not rescued even single one.

That third prince and his faction…. What are they planning?

Well, I guess we will have to something about it. But what? Information gathering seem only possible answer and that's it.

We don't know where the black markets are located and the people that would know anything important are dead because of some sort of curse.

But again, there are other unanswered questions that we need to deal with.

However, I can't do anything about it.

And not only that.

The second part of tournament will soon start.

I managed to rescue more slaves than I though and straight up moving them while trying not to get detected will take some time unfortunately.

"And that is the situation."

["So, like what? The third prince is really part of some sort of conspiracy or something?"]

"Yeb. By the look of things."

["That is, if he is really the "Head" of conspiracy."]

"Yeb…. There is also the chance that maybe other faction is using the third prince faction…. We lack way too much informations…..."

["Well, did you at least awaken the sloth?"]

"Ohohoho! Yes, I did! And I need to say it already. Its BROKEN as fuck!"

["But most of all, the members focused more on getting stronger since the start of the second tournament will start soon."]

The time went by and along the slaves were continue heading towards our base without getting caught.

However, the main goal had been accomplish.

The dormant sloth had fully awakened and had became the sin of sloth and with that I had also obtained lesser sin related to the sin of sloth: [Control].

With this power up that suits me perfectly, I had became even bigger monster than before.

And I can grow even stronger later as I obtain more lesser sins? What if I obtain another "Sins" instead of lesser ones? That would been interesting.

But there is also the question regarding the true sin of sloth…. It was observing me for far longer than I had expected.

Does it observes me specifically?

Or maybe it observes my guild?

And are there any other true sins who are also observing us?

If so…. Will they "Bless" us?

Hera said that the guild members, core guild members will soon awaken they're of dormant sins…. So, it's just matter of time.

However, there is also question about what form their sins will take…... Oh well, time will tell.

But for now, the time is closing in and the start of the second part of the tournament shall soon start.

This time, it won't be battle against weaklings, but against powerful players and monsters. It will be the start of the real tournament where people will see what monsters walk among the players.

And we plan to dominate this entire event and take the first place at any cost! We will show the people that the Purple Hyena guild are the true bastards here that they should fear!

I'm already looking forward to it.
