[VRMMO] Dead One

After awakening my sin, I decided to fuck it and let lose to see the power of the sin of [Control].

And I got to say, it was quite interesting.

No wonder demons want to awaken their own power of the sins as well as worship true sins as their gods.

Anyway, by growing my army even larger, I had managed to overwhelm town defenses and straight up destroy this entire place and slaughter everybody.

Well, still it wasn't exactly easy. This place has a lot of high defenses as well as some annoying elite soldiers.

(We don't know what the hell deal was with those soldiers, but there was also the fact that this place was quiet well defended. Something must be located in here.)

(Black market? Or maybe it's a vacation spot for nobles?)

"…." – ClownFrog wondered in his thoughts while standing in the middle of the destroyed town.

"Hey boss." – said Hera who was flying towards ClownFrog before then landing right next to him on the small wall.

"By the look of things, the sloth has awaken?"

"Yeb. And I got to say…. WOW." – said ClownFrog.

"The sin I have obtained is sin of sloth: [Control]. And its fits perfectly for me."

"Are all sins like that?"

"Well, it depends on your action and the person in question." – said Hera.

"Anyway, are we running away now or something like planned?"

"There was these new soldiers and stuff. Who were these new soldiers? Were their new force working for the third prince?"

"Or were they by any chance guarding the black market somewhere that may have been hidden here. Or maybe this place was just some sort of gathering spot for nobles or merchants."

"Either way, look into it and you know what to do if you find the black market."

"Fine." – said Hera.

"Anyway, where are you going?"

"…. Well, I would like to have a private talk, if possible, with somebody…. So don't fallow me." - replied ClownFrog before walking away.

ClownFrog walked into the deeper parts of the destroyed town, away from any of his servants.

(But for now, lets check what the hell was with this town.)

(The plan was to get the fuck out of here instantly after awakening the sloth, but considering current circumstances, I maybe be forced to do an escort mission.)

(We need to increase the number of the vampires working for us, since we still need to grow in strength.) – though ClownFrog before spreading his wings and flying up into the air.

According to the captured merchants, guards as well as nobles, we found out some interesting informations regarding the third prince faction as well as this town.

First thing first.

Those new forces. Those new soldiers as well as the monsters.

Apparently the third prince wanted to have the empire have a domestic monsters that could have been used for both war and for work, like farm animals right now.

Its not uncommon for the farms to have monsters working there and stuff, so its nothing grand or anything as well as the monsters that can be used in the private armies or for the country army.

However, the third prince says that people should relay on the domestic monsters more, since stronger monsters could finish the war faster, resulting in less casualties as well as better means of improving the work.

Honestly, I don't think its wrong idea. But there are several problems with that idea.

The idea does sound solid and it could work, but obviously problems.

There is also one major thing.

Third prince is an asshole criminal who alongside his faction were doing a lot of "Nasty" things behind the scenes.

As for those magic swordsman's? Apparently, they are new soldiers working for the third prince faction. From what the nobleman told me, he said that he believes that the third prince feels insecure about his current position and maybe be trying to boost his forces just in case he would have a perfect opportunity to show off.

And I honestly think its truth as well…. But also, not.

There is a good chance that the third prince is maybe planning on doing revolution in case he lost the competition with his siblings.

That bastard the third prince and his faction is definitely doing something behind the scenes, but so does every single one of them.

Honestly speaking, there is the first princess and Paintjob.

The first princess wasn't heard doing anything big nor she has neither of two major guilds under her control…. But something feels off about her…. Is she preparing something?

There is also Paintjob.

She maybe in the empire right now.

Or what if she works for one of the factions in secret?

Paintjob was indeed hiding from the public eye for a long time before then suddenly reappearing during the tournament, so that maybe doesn't mean that she did not played.

But then, where she was?

….

Either way, our guild needs to get stronger.

We don't know if we can take one of the factions head on, but the whole empire? Out of questions.

We are still not strong enough and even with the power of the sloth, it's not like I suddenly gained the power to wipe out the entire empire by myself in instance.

Still, we are making a good progress.

But the proper question would be, "When".

When we will be finally ready to confront the empire and start the real war?

There are also other questions like for example: "True sins goals?" or "Are there any other enemies we don't know about?" and all other stuff….

(Oh well. Let's not ask those questions right now, since straight up looking for the answers right now may not get us nowhere. I can ask Hera a bit, but even she doesn't know anything.) – though ClownFrog while flying around.

(For now, let's focus on the next important thing that is just around the corner."

(Soon the second part of the tournament will start and all of us need to get ready.)

(Since this time, it won't be battle against some completely nobodies and maybe even battle against monsters.)

(I did archived my goal of awakening the power of the sloth before the start of the real tournament, but I doubt I was the only player getting stronger during the break.)

(A lot of the "Monsters" are known to appear in the second part of the tournament.)

(…Huh… I wonder if any of us will be fighting the Scarlet Gryphons or the Red Lions guild master?)

(It would be good if we crush them and make example out of them not to fuck with us.)
