[VRMMO] Dead One

"Man, this event straight up pathetic…. Even comments online seem quite bad." – said girl known as Blueberry while sitting on the bed.

"Well, it may have ended pathetic, but the second part seem to be getting people excited.." – said the man known as ClownFrog that was currently using computer.

"Look."

"A lot of people are getting excited by the look of things now that the weakest players have been rid off."

"Not only that, but many people seem to have note any important name on the list on the participants. Look, they even mention us here in this post."

"Hey… You right."

"Well, the first part of the event was quiet underwhelming, but the second and the third part seem to be the main attraction." – said Blueberry.

"Anyway… I see a lot of big names in the mix beside ourselves."

"The Paintjob is in here alongside the guild master of the Red Lions and Scarlet Gryphons."

"There is also one of the strongest chinses player Long from the Champion Scales guild. He is quite popular globally."

"Long…... Wait. Wasn't that guy who fought alongside GreyHunt to deal with the weaklings?" – said ClownFrog.

"Yea! He mentioned it that he found an interesting martial artist guy who was beating the shit out of everybody with his fists and was straight up blowing holes in the players torsos with his punches. He maybe the guy." – said Blueberry.

"Hm…. We should hold a meeting and discuss with the others the situation regarding the players."

"Some of them may saw some interesting players and seen them in action. Any of those interesting players maybe our opponents in the second and third phase."

"True." – said ClownFrog.

"Beside well known players, there maybe a lot of talented or dangerous players in the mix that nobody knows of."

"They just announced the date of the second phase of the tournament!" – said the girl while looking at her phone after receiving notification.

"Really?"

"Hm…... Its quiet soon by the look of things?" - said the girl.

"…. Maybe it's because the first phase ended way too fast?" – said ClownFrog.

"Or maybe because of how boring the first part of the tournament was?"

"Either way, there is still few real life days in between, so we can relax a bit, so we can make some preparation in the game…. But we should prepare as well."

"This time we will be not dealing with some random weaklings, but some players that can be consider somewhat strong if not "Monsters" like us."

"Take the Paintjob for example. I only saw her for a moment on the screen, but it straight up showed all the players getting crushed by a huge wave of water. She straight up one shoted an huge group of players."

"Weakling they may be, but that kind of AOE attack with that much power while also not looking as if she going all out or anything like that."

"Not only that, she also seemed too eager to fight any of the core members."

"Yea… I saw that…. By the way, why the hell she was trying to climb on you when I went to meet up with you all?"

"I don't fuking know. She seemed extremely free spirited like a child. She was even messing with my wings and tail for some reason."

"Anyway, we should take it easy and be ready for the second part of the tournament, but we should also look into competition that we will be facing."

"True."

"Anyway, I will be going now. I want to log in already since I want to finish those "Things" that I have been working on."

"Oh? This time you will finish them?"

"Yea. And hopefully they won't straight up blow up like the last ones did."

"Okay. Bye."

The girl left the man apartment, leaving the man all alone.

(Well… Things will be definitely chaotic this time unlike before.)

(Now that the weakest players are out of the picture and only strongest ones remains, the real battle royal will be now taking place.)

(Should we use this moment of pause to attack the empire? There is a chance that they wouldn't expected it…... Nah.)

(Lets focus on growing stronger. Even level or 2 will be important.)

(We should just focus on becoming stronger and also gathering the informations.)

(Not only that, the empire is still affected by our previous attacks.)

(The spies and scouts says that the empire settlement are still heavily defended.)

(Its good for them and bad, since their defenses are stronger, but they also need to use more money each day to keep them up.)

(As for our base… The preparation are going smoothly.)

(We had expanded our base by a lot and straight up build some sort of castle.)

(Well not literally castle, but in terms of size.)

"On surface, underground and inside the mountain."

"Our base size is way bigger than before." – said the man before taking out a piece of paper with a pseudo map written on it.

(The monster factories are doing well and they can produce some army, but they still need upgrades and also need to be expanded or we need even more of them.)

(The hired demons are also doing their job. We do need to take care of them, but from their side there was nothing like any major complaints.)

(As for the vampire girls, they are still training and are getting better and better.)

(Still not quiet there, but they are visible making progress.)

(Well, it would have been better if we somehow recruited more people and turned them into vampires, but we don't have enough V blood to recruit any big numbers.)

(Not only that, but the third prince illegal forces and allies are hiding pretty well and we don't know where we could attack them in order to gain possible new allies.)

(As for the mass produced undead…. They are not quite good enough to make an army to confront the empire, but mass produced skeletons do help out in expanding our base.)

(There are also golems that can be used both as offensive weapons and the working force.)

(Honestly, at this rate it wouldn't be surprised if our entire base would turn into literally castle if not maybe a giant dungeon or city… Or maybe all 3?)

(That would have been interesting…. But there are also wild fuking monsters in play. The bigger our base becomes on the surface, the more attacks we are sustaining, even after clearing the area around our base.)

(Not only that, those metal gorillas are still annoying.)

(If we don't find their main base, then it will be physically impossible to expand our base on the surface and we need that space for our farms as well as other stuff.)

(We have an underground farms that uses the stuff like underground coconut or the buried tomatoes. We have gotten a lot of useful seeds from the two kingdoms we are allies with before we departure to the empire.)

(We have also access to the water, since there is an river near our base and we have even access to it underground.)

(We have enough food to feed our forces, but if we plan to expand any more as well as hire any more demon servants or soldiers as well as have any more vampire servants, we need to expand our farms even more.)

(Well, not yet, but in the future.)

(Right now we have an huge working force that does not consist of living beings, meaning that we don't need to give them any time to sleep or feed them.)

(As for the wild monsters? We captured few monsters and somewhat tamed them…. But we only captured "Few".)

(Not like an army or anything. They could be used more as watch dogs or something. Our tamers had also tamed some new monsters as well.)

(There is also the fact that I managed to contract few new demons myself, including some strong demons that I had yet to show to this world.)

(And as for the [Dormant Sloth]?)

(I checked it out with Hera and apparently my [Dormant Sloth] is reacting.)

(She said that it could sooner or later be awaken as the [Sin Of Sloth].)

(But there was one more thing.)

(Hera said that its possible that other guild members, especially the core members may soon awaken their own dormant sins blessings.)

(About time I say. They will need them when contracting demons of their own.)

(Still, I wonder what my sin of sloth will do?)

(Apparently the blessing of the sins forms depends on the user and their nature and may awaken different powers as well as lesser sins.)

(Still, I wonder if I would unlock some sort of class or something…..)

(Those fuckers didn't showed up.)

(Or maybe they did and didn't announced themselves yet.)

(Maybe they will after getting to the third phase?)

(Dammit.)

(I wanted to humiliate them in the first phase. I even gave order to guild members to hunt them down if they decided to show themselves.)

(…. There are really lot of the big names on the list that even I heard of…. Unlike the previous part where there was no challenge whatsoever, this part of the tournament will be completely chaotic.)

(And the question is, what will the second battle royal look like?)

(Will they put us in the separated maps again? Or maybe put us all on one map this time?)

(Either way this time we will be fighting real strong players and probably some of us will end up fighting some "Monsters".)

(Its better to look into our enemies as much as possible before the start of the second part of the tournament.)
