[VRMMO] Dead One

Few moments later after the tournament started, the each and every map turned quite chaotic almost instantly.

The players that were killed in action ended up being respawn at the colosseum where they would end up watching some of the images on the floating screens that shows some of the scenes on the each of the areas.

However, players weren't the only ones observing the situation.

Many of the people in the real world were observing the fight with a bit of delay as well as the workers of the RealityDream company were also observing the competition.

Both in real life and while being logged in.

"Well… That was expected and all…. But damn. Its really chaotic." – said the CEO of the RealityDream company.

"Many players are dying non stop from the get go and their death rate is only increasing. Honestly, at this rate the first part of the event may end up way faster than we thought." – said the bald man while looking at his status winddown inside the game.

"Well, that was the purpose of the first battle royal." – said the muscular tall man.

"The first part of the tournament was to get rid of the weakest players so only the strongest players would remain."

"So pretty much, we will put barely any attention on the first part and more on the second and third…. Hm?"

"What is it?" – asked the woman in the suit.

"Em…. Why is the kill count on the map number 4 is dropping like crazy?"

"Wait, let me put the screen on…... Oh." – said the fat man.

"?"

"Em…. Yea I'm putting it on now."

"?"

"…..."

"Oh." – said everybody.

"Welp this is quiet chaotic scene, isn't it?" – said the CEO.

[Meanwhile – Map number 4.]

"FUCK!"

"RUN FOR IT!"

"The hell is going on?!"

The players were not fighting each other and instead of running away together, but then they were completely blowed up by the bright brown beam of light.

"Shit…. This isn't funny man." – said the nervous forest elf player.

"Why the hell ClownFrog is here?!"

The army of the monsters suddenly appeared on the map and were straight up overflowing players in numbers.

Players were killing monsters summoned by ClownFrog…. But there was straight up too many of them and not only that, ClownFrog elite servant like O'a and Hera were also going on the rampage.

Many of the weakest players were pretty much killed left and right by the ClownFrog army and to make matters worse, ClownFrog was using the corpse of the players as sacrifices to create undeads. He cannot turn them into zombies, skeletons or abominations, but as long as the undead only request a sacrificial corpse, its fine.

As for the undead that were getting killed? They were expendable and easily replaced.

ClownFrog was going on the total rampage on the map, straight up brining his entire army in the competition.

"…."

"Is this fair?" – said the woman in the business suit.

"Well…. He is the only player in the game that can do something like that…. So, it's not like we can…." – said CEO.

"But its not like he is only monster." – said the fat man.

"The map number 7 has Dance A.K.A Paintjob on the rampage, she already killed a lot of players from the get go as well."

"There is also island 5 where guild master of the Red Lions is straight up smashing the entire place and I meant like literally."

"We expected for the monsters to appear among the players, but this is…. Slaughter."

"Yea… I mean we expected it to be like one, but holy shit. This is way more than we expected." – said the muscular man.

"At this rate the event will really end way faster than it should."

[Meanwhile – Map number 8.]

"Fuck me! Get away from- "

Before then man could finish speaking, he was assaulted by the giant ant monster and then eaten alive.

"…"

(Wow. This is really boring, huh?) – though Shri.

"Hey Shri." – said the familiar voice.

"Hm? Oh!"

"Hey Blueberry!"

"You are on the same map as me?"

"Yeb."

"Anyway, I see you were also ganged on." – said Blueberry after spotting countless players corpse on the ground.

"They were also targeting you?"

"Yeb. But I straight up demolished them all."

"…"

"What do you mean "Demolished" them?" – asked bit scared Shri.

"…."

Blueberry did not said anything and just smiled.

"…"

(Damn. She can be scary when she wants to.)

"Anyway, was there anybody from our guild also on this map? Or anybody we should watch out for?" – asked Shri.

"Hm… There were some Red Lions and Scarlet Gryphons…. But they run away once I kind of killed half of them. They weren't strong at all or anything, so I guess I just run into the weaklings of those two guilds."

"As for our guild members… I saw Rampage."

"Wait, really? She is also here?"

"Yeb. I asked if she wants to team up, but she said she would rather go on her own."

"…."

"Yea… I can kind of picture why she wants to go on her own." – said Shri.

"Still… There is way too many weaklings around. I enjoy crushing them and all, but is there really no strong opponent on this map?"

"Well, even if there were ones, then they would probably survive to the next round." – said Blueberry.

"But anyway, they didn't said how many players need to survive as well, but I wonder."

"How long it will take to finish this."

"I honestly wouldn't be surprised if somebody finishes it before the zone will even appear."

[Meanwhile – Map number 4.]

"Don't falter!" – shouted the heavy armored player.

"As long as we stand together, we can…. What is that?" – said the player after looking up.

The players looked up and moment later a giant meteor fallen on them all and straight up blew them all up.

ClownFrog was still going on the rampage with his army of the death to the point he straight up changed the [Battle royal] into [Survival] where ClownFrog was killing anybody near them left and right.

However, one of the players tried to assassinate ClownFrog and straight up aimed at him from his blind spot, but as soon as they got closer, ClownFrog eye looked directly at them and the next moment was ClownFrog swinging his axe staff around, hitting and sending the assassin flying.

"Shit! He saw that coming?!" – said the player from the distance that was fighting off the skeleton servants.

"He probably have fuking detention skill."

"What kind of bullshit is this?!"

"Is he a raid boss or something?!"

"I mean if you know you cannot beat him, why the hell even try to fight his monsters?" – said the voice form behind.

"Yea! But how the fuck do we run away from an entire army?! Won't he kill everybody- "

"Then just kill others players than."

The man from behind swinged his axe and straight up cut down the two players down, killing them.

"?!"

"What the fuck are you doing?!" – said the orc player.

"Well, this is battle royal." – said the man who turns out to be the kobold player named Cave.

"And if you want to win this part of the tournament you need to kill as many players as possible."

"!"

"You motherfucker! You want to fight in this- "

"Wait!" – said the elf player suddenly.

"Look at his chest!"

"Its Purple Hyena guild logo!"

"?!"

"You fucker! You are with Purple Hyena guild."

"Well, obviously. The name Cave."

"And by the way, I don't think you should be paying attention to me."

The players realized something was off and turned around, but it was too late, the horde of the monsters rushed at them and began devouring and killing players left and right."

"…"

(OH THANK FUKING GOD!) – though panicking Cave.

(If that bastard wasn't my guild master, I would straight up shit myself if I fought him.)

(….)

(Oh god…. Yea if I somehow managed to get to the third phase and end up fighting him I straight up surrender.) – though Cave after imagining himself getting eaten alive by ClownFrog undeads.

"HERE I COME BITCHES! SAY YOUR PRAYES BECOSUE…...Oh…... Hey Cave." – said Ampi who suddenly emerged from the ground with her army of the monsters.

"…."

"Em…. ClownFrog?"

"ClownFrog." – replied Cave.

"…."

"Jezus." – said Ampi while observing the slaughter happening right now.

"How many people did he killed already?"

"I have no fuking idea. All I know he was using any bodies he got to make even more undeads… Yea…. People are straight up treating like a raid boss right now."

"Hey you two! Stop talking and help out or we all will fuking die by that fuking army of monsters!" – said orc player.

"…."

"Well, its better than then nothing." – said Ampi.

"Agree."

Cave covered himself in dark aura before then rushing at the player and cutting him and half before then Ampi send her monsters to support him and also summoning a swamp beneath them and making sure they wouldn't have any ability to escape.

The battle continues on the map number 4 for quite some time since many players decided to screw it and hide.

But unfortunately, they were found out by the demonic beasts under ClownFrog control.

Nobody was spared nor nobody had escaped.

Players tried uniting and attacking ClownFrog, but he himself was quite powerful and not only that, he managed to summon all of his monsters before going on the rampage, meaning he had straight up army under his control.

"Fuck!" – said the dwarf player who was raising his shield while also standing in front of the group of players.

"Common you fucker! Can't you hide behind your undeads and come at me yourself ClownFrog?!"

The dwarf tried to trash talk ClownFrog, but then the lich appeared flew down from the sky and landed in front the group.

"Hey. I'm here." – said ClownFrog.

"…"

(HOLY SHIT! HE REALLY SHOWED HIMSEFL UP!)

"So…. You want to fight me? Then go on."

"…"

"DIE YOU FUCKER!"

The dwarf rushed in towards the ClownFrog and put as many enchantment as he can onto his hammer before swinging it and hitting ClownFrog leg.

"…."

"And?"

"?!"

(He didn't even flinched?!) – though the dwarf.

"You just wasted my time."

"Die."

"!?"

The dwarf looked up in panic and the first thing he saw was a bright green light engulfing his entire body that flew out from the ClownFrog body.

Moment later, the dwarf entire body was completely destroyed and the dwarf himself was pretty much instantly killed.

The other players stared in horror as the dwarf player who went all out couldn't do any proper damage to the ClownFrog was instead one shoted by the lich as if he was nothing.

The players began trembling in fear, but then ClownFrog looked directly at them, making them straight up shit their pants.

But as soon as the ClownFrog started moving towards them, he was suddenly stopped.

[This is announcement.]

[The number of the players on the map number 4 has been reduced to the goal amount.]

[The map number 4 had finished battle royal and all the players on the map 4 who had survived are now qualified to participate in the next part of the event.]

"?!"

"We survived?!" – said the panicking player that was almost killed by ClownFrog.

The players body began glowing with light again.

[All the players who had been qualified from the map number 4 will be returned to the lobby map.]

"…."

"You got lucky. It seems that dwarf guy death just saved you all." – said ClownFrog while looking at the players who were still visible scared of him.

Moments later, all the remaining players were teleported back to the lobby map.

The players who had won the battle royal on the map number four would have they're in game names displayed on one of the screens in the colosseum and would also be teleported right in the middle of the colosseum.

"HOLY FUKING SHIT!" – said the player that just teleported.

"I thought I was goner!"

"I though that mothefucker would have."

"I'm behind you." – said ClownFrog.

"?!"

The player looked back and saw ClownFrog staring at her.

"…."

(Welp, this was boring.) – though ClownFrog.

(I guess I spawned on the map that was straight up full of noobs.)

(But fuck me! It ended way too soon! Not even the border zone appeared yet or anything like that.)

(But at least they could give somebody with bit of challenge in there…...)

(I hope at least the second part of the even will be at least BIT interesting unlike this.)

(Anyway, I wonder how the others are doing right now.)

"Hey boss." – said Cave.

"Hm? Cave? Ampi?" You two were on the same map as me?" – said ClownFrog while turning around.

"Well, yea." – said Cave.

"But fuck me man. You straight up finished it way too fast."

"Meh. It honestly wasn't impressive at all or anything like that. Too many weak players were on the same map as me. There wasn't anybody really who could fight back or anything like that. Pretty much everybody even teamed up against me but still couldn't survive."

"It was way too fuking boring if I say so."

"Probably the first part of the event was to just get rid of the weaklings and leave only the strongest players behind." – said Cave.

"Yea… It is quite obvious no matter how you look at that." – said Ampi.

"Anyway, what are you doing now? Will you log off or observe how people are fighting."

"…"

"Nah. I will stay." – said ClownFrog.

"My map was extremely boring, but I wonders if other people maps are the same as ours."

"And I'm curios how the others are doing."

(I also wonder about the situation on the other maps.)

(Are other maps are also close to finishing? Are there any interesting monsters among the people?)

(It would be waste not to say a bit a take a look.)

(And I'm also interested about one thing.)

(Are the others also going on the rampage from the get go like I did?)
