Chapter 257 - 258 – Players of the empire.
In order to create a big distraction and red hearing we went and created a small units composed of tamers and summoners.
However, if we want to plant a really big red hearing, we need to attack location that is too far from our current location.
The location we chose isn't the problem, but we need to create as much destruction and chaos as possible.
We WANT the empire to find us out this time.
So, this time we are not going after the resources, this time we are going after destruction and chaos.
However, there are few problems.
The first problem is that we are now wanted criminals in the empire and people are on guard against us.
Traveling in secret like we did before is our only option, but it will be much harder than before, meaning that it will take much longer to get to the perfect location.
Because of that we straight up left our base instantly while they are still search for us.
There is also the fact that we cannot at all cost bump into the players, since even if we kill them, they can still talk. So again, we need to be even more careful while traveling.
The second problem would be to get out, since we want the empire to find out about the army of the undead, I would make, but not us (Players). That will be challenging.
And the last problem are my undeads.
I cannot bring the army of the undeads with us… I mean…. They will spot us instantly.
So, I needed to get rid of them… Expect gorillas. I left them at the base since they are too useful, both in combat and in construction. They are way too valuable.
They can fight and build. They are perfect.
Honestly, I was thinking of maybe having our tamers tame the wild ones, but they are unfortunately too aggressive and territorial.
And there is also the fact that we also kind of took over their home. I mean, I don't know if there is more than one or…. You get what I mean to say.
So…. I needed to dismiss almost all of my undeads to free up the space in my skills.
Well, at least I can still summon the horde of the skeleton servants, but they are obviously the weakest monsters in my arsenal, even the fully upgraded ones.
Still, they will make up for the numbers. I have also other summons so I should be able to create some army of monsters.
But we need more.
We need an army of the undead. A horde.
I need to create as many undeads as I can, a straight up terror and stuff.
However, even without the gorillas, I can still make a LOT of undeads that will straight up terrorist people for us. So as long as I have enough corpse, the army will be made.
And besides, Shri is also with me and she is quiet monster herself and even if without undeads, I'm still quiet dangerous motherfucker that can easily wipe out everybody.
Still, considering what we did before and how the empire is right now reaction…. Attacking settlements don't really appear as "Easy" job like before. We may run into some challenges now.
It may turn very likely into very problematic mission, but its not like we have choice. If we won't do it, then the chances of the empire discovering our base location will get higher and higher.
We still didn't saw any players or NPCs after we destroyed the closest city to the [Bloody Mountains], but considering how big of a mess we made there is good chance they will expand their search and, in the end, get to the [Bloody Mountains].
We need to create chaos in order to screw them up or we will be the ones screwed.
As for our target?
Ocelot city.
That target is located quiet far away from our base and thanks to the "Friendly" merchant who I "Befriended" in the town I destroyed.
They had some nice maps that showed me way better the territory of the empire instead of those maps bought in the stores that Oron and GreyHunt managed to get their hands on.
Still, again. We cannot just head straight, since we didn't wanted to get spotted before we start our rampage.
We needed to take a lot of detours in order not to get spotted and oh boy, it took a lot of time.
"…. Huh…"
"Say…. I though they would make patrols go around the main roads and stuff, but they are not doing that?" – asked Shri while hiding in the forest.
"The empire maybe big, but they are not stupid."
"If they would spread their forces everywhere, they would instead straight up make a thin line of the defense that would be easily destroyed." – said female Catfolk player with white fur named Ogo.
"Ogo is right." – said black and white Tuxedo Catfolk male player named Bondo.
"But then won't the smaller settlements like villages and towns be an easy targets? Wouldn't that hurt the empire reputation?"
"They probably have some sort of plan for that." – said ClownFrog while sitting down on the ground.
"For example, those magical devices that can be used for communications. They come in many different forms in sizes. They can straight up use them like telephones or like how we are using players chat and everything to communicate."
"What if we attack some random settlement and it turns out it was an trap?"
"There is also the chance that the major settlements like cities or big towns hold some of the empire troops in stand by in case of our appearance."
"But both of those answers are "Ifs"."
"The empire still have no idea where we are and because of that, they cannot put their troops in random locations and spread them around thin."
"So honestly speaking, the empire could take either of those answers, or 1 or maybe they have yet another answer we won't see coming."
"Anyway, Shri. Did you contacted the guys yet?"
"Yes. I was talking with GreyHunt just now."
"However, I have a question, how long until we get to our destination?"
"Hm…. According to the map it should take some time…. But the question is how do we do it?" – said ClownFrog while putting the map on the rock nearby.
"Right now, we are…. Here. And our target is here."
"We still have some distance to get there."
"However as soon as we got past this point on the road here, we can go full speed to the city since there would be no way we would be get inside the city."
"However, there are several problems with this plan."
"The Ocelot is a quiet big city and popular one at that."
"Not only that, but the city is under control of second prince faction."
"In order words, this place may have solid defenses AND considering what we were doing recently, they may have reinforced that place defenses."
"Without an ready army of the undeads, we will need to create an army while demolishing the city."
"But we also need to create an army of undeads."
"We will need then destroy any settlements nearby in order to spread chaos and destruction."
"And than after creating big enough army of undeads, we will just make our get away while having undead army act as red hearing for us." – said Shri.
"Still…. The second prince huh?"
"From what I know he is a good guy type of guy, right?"
"Yea. I heard about him as well." – said Ogo.
"He is apparently extremely famous and he apparently even has his own fanbase."
"I saw some screen shots…. And I got say, he is sexy!"
"He is like those male handsome characters in romances mangas/manhwas and everything!"
"…. Yea…." – said Bogo while looking at Ogo who had weird expression on her face.
"Anyway, from what is known to public, the second prince is a politician type of guy, but not like corrupted or greedy one, but one more about justice and good."
"He isn't stupid type as well and thinks his action thoroughly."
"He is charming, smart and has good sense of leadership."
"Even though his own faction doesn't have that much military power as first prince, but he has a lot of support, from the people of empire and the players."
"Not only that, there are also Scarlet Gryphons." – said ClownFrog.
"And Hawk."
"…"
"So, what is he like?" – asked Shri.
"He…. He is good." – replied ClownFrog.
"That guy… You could say he is like the second prince."
"He is a good tactician and everything."
"Not only that, I saw his video of him fighting in this game and I got to say, he is even more deadly than before. And I meant as leader."
"As for him as lone player? There weren't many informations or videos, but some videos that showed him dueling other players showed his skills."
"He wasn't definitely not showing everything."
"Don't fuck with him or understatement him. He is 100% hiding many cards."
(Not only Hawks, but also his other teammates were quiet good.)
(When I was still part of Esport team, their team had once completely destroyed us in smaller tournament.)
(However, this game isn't computer and mouse, so these guys may not turned into bigger monsters like Hawk did.)
(Still, we cannot fuck with them lightly.)
(Hawk main trait is his leadership and his guild have way more members than our guild.)
(There is probably few good reason why Scarlet Gryphons are called one of the major guilds in the game.)
(…)
(There are also other players we need to look out for.)
(Conquest of the Red Lion guild and the "Paint Job".)
(Red Lions are also the second mayor guild in the empire.)
(I don't know if they are Esport players not using their real nicknames in order not to get unwanted attention, or maybe they are just some new faces.)
(Still, they did beat the "Forgotten" monster called "Forgotten" knight.)
(Apparently it was an extremely hard monster that many guilds failed until the Red Lions showed up and took it down.)
(We ourselves only encounter 1 "Forgotten" monster, Forgotten Bride level 200, but she was an moloch.)
(Not only that, each item that the Forgotten Bride given us were broken like hell.)
(I'm no longer using the dagger and instead gave it to Ampi, but even she could tell that it is quiet strong, even though her level is over 300.)
(Shri and Rampage are also using the rings they gotten from that monster.)
(….)
(They definitely got some proper loot from beating that Forgotten monster.)
(Still, what about the Paintjob?)
(There are still no news about her out there.)
(She is the first legendary class user in the game.)
(I have also an legendary class, but she got her way more early than I did, meaning that her class may have way higher progress in terms of growth.)
(Still…. She disappeared in thin air?)
(Did she stopped playing the game for some reason?)
(Or maybe she is doing something that needs to be kept hidden?)
(Either way, there is a still good chance we would encounter her in the empire, since this was her starting location.)
(Beside those two mayor guilds and the Paintjob, there are also other players out there who may be bit problematic for us.)
"…."
"Okay. Get up." – said ClownFrog before getting up himself.
"The sooner we are done with our mission, the better."
"Move out."
