Chapter 248 - 249 - Elder Necromancer.
After we delivered the slaves, we captured form the city as well as secured good amount of supplies, we instantly got to the work.
The slaves were forced on doing specific things like digging or carrying stuff while we were focused on deforesting the area as well as dealing with the monsters.
Besides slaves doing things for us, we had also used our monsters as workforce.
For example, Shri ants helped out in digging or the metal gorillas helped out in carrying the cut down trees.
There were some slaves that tried doing something, so we just let them run away.
Why?
Well they died.
Yeb.
These people will 100% die without our protection and the few death that happened ended up showing them this cruel reality.
The only reason why these people are even alive is thanks to us and we can kill them at any moment or just let them go into the wild where they will instantly die without anybody protecting them.
This made them very obedient to us, but we had also needed to take care of them by providing them with food and water.
Well, after they are done with helping out, we do plan of getting rid of them.
The days went by and the construction of our base continues.
We were making a lot of progress, but while all of that was happening, the news about declaration of the war ended up spreading far and wide.
Some people even had the recording devices and were recording the whole thing.
Honestly, I'm not complaining.
The published video ended up going viral.
It even made appearance on the [Porimeo] channel.
Porimeo is a report type guild that talks about stuff going on in the game. They are quite popular in the game and even send us a request for the interview.
I obviously ignored it. There were many good reason, but I beside those reasons, I just didn't wanted to appear like that. I don't know if we will ever take the interview or anything like that, it may chance or not, I don't know.
But for now, we focused on our current situation.
It took us some time, but we digged out a good amount of the ground and even used it for our outside base walls.
The area above the ground was also cut down pretty well and we straight up builted an massive wall that uses both the ground and those very hard trees logs.
We had also used a lot of stole materials to create a workshop area for our production classes users as well as build stables for our beast to rest, but not only that.
The tamers can leave behind their beast when they log off. Like how I can leave my undeads to roam around or Blueberry golems can work without her.
However, unlike the golems or undeads, beasts needs to eat and sleep and there is also the fact that the beast without the leader will be bit problematic.
Shri have some of her beast like the queen ant or the snake acts like the leaders, but the beasts themselves will need to be kept in specific location or make sure that they won't go outside the specific range.
If the tamed monsters die while you are logged off, they will suffer bonus penalty, same like the undeads and other registered type monsters.
So, the stable will be home for these monsters where they can relax and take a break while also eat some things as well as make sure that they won't to go far away from their "Homes".
So, the stables are the necessary.
However, this isn't all.
The [Stables] can be upgraded into the [Tamer Stables].
Simply put, it's a special building you can make where you can leave your tamed monsters behind, but there are problems with that place.
Specifically, that you need a lot of materials and other stuff to make it and the creatures need to have a proper environment and other stuff. There is also the fact that you need to provide them with food like how you leave your tamed monsters behind and other stuff. It has many benefits but also downsides. However, in our situation, it's worth it.
So, yea…... We are planning to making it in the future for Shri and other tamers.
Both the stable and the workshop need to have an underground parts, expanding the facilities and having way more room to do stuff. We need many other different stuff, but right now the normal monster stable and workshop are the must have things first.
As for the undeads and the golems, well we also needed a place to store them, since having them around when they are not needed will only get in people way.
I can put the entire horde of them outside our base, but then we will be losing our troops to the wild monsters left and right.
There is a new and improved Zod, but yea…. He may end up provoking the random monsters with his giant presence and stuff, honestly, I didn't wanted to use him when we were dealing with this gorillas since his attack range is bit…. Too big.
So, yea, Zod is kind off limits right now, unless the situation really calls for it.
I also though about using him to dig for us, since he is an earth elemental drake as well as an earth undead.
Well, I did used him for that and he didn't minded that at all, but then…. Well, he was wrecking our top base that was on top of the digging space, so yea…. Maybe we should have let him dig first.
On top of that, he even made too big of a hole that was bit unstable, so a ground above it ended up collapsing.
Zod can dig into a ground like a mole…. But he leaves giaganting messes.
Blueberry said that she maybe could create some sort of golems that could help us in the Zod messing problem, but she said that it would time and materials, so yea. Zod is going to the storage skill and he knows why.
Maybe if we have enough tools and other stuff where we can allow Zod to dig without care, then we maybe be able to use him for our base building.
Anyway, overall, the situation regarding our base creation was going well and was progressing smoothly.
The newbies were also leveling up a lot thanks to the monsters here and not only that, but we also were leveling a lot.
But if I need to brag about something is this.
[[High Necromancer] has reached rank 4.]
[You have unlocked access to the new class: Elder Necromancer] – [Unique].]
BOOM!
A new necromancer class!
It seems to be an upgraded version of the Advance Necromancer and that class was already quite strong.
This class conditions are probably the same as the Advance Necromancer, with having the previously ranked necromancer class at rank 4 as well as having different amount of necromancer classes.
However, this time the requiem wasn't to just have way more necromancer classes. I also needed to have every single one of them at rank 4. Not only that, it seems that rare type classes provide less points needed to fulfil unlocking this class. So, if you were an average player, you would need few epic rarity classes or higher rarity ones.
But jokes on you! I'm maiming the necromancy and I'm using most of my skill points for the necromancer classes and skills! I have a shit tons of necromancer classes as well as some epic rarity ones and even have unique rarity ones and even legendary necromancer type class!
There are other type of classes that fallows that kind of gimmick like the tamer who has [Expert Tamer] that Shri already posses or the [Expect Blacksmith] that Blueberry has.
There are also other classes that fallows that kind of gimmick with having multiple different classes with same nature at its core, so its not like this mechanical only belongs to the necromancers.
Some other classes just require you to level up and max out the base form of the very basic class form to get access to the new class, meaning that you don't need multiple different classes with same nature.
However, the necromancer class have bit striker conditions, especially the [Elder Necromancer].
I mean, I did unlocked this class quiet easily and all, but people don't realize that to fulfil this class second condition you need to invest shit tons of skill points.
This is the first unique class I got through my own efforts instead of using items or special quest, but for fuck sake developers, those reequipments are quiet too big. I mean sure this is a unique rarity class that you can get even without any class books or anything...
…
Huh.
Wait, maybe they did made the cost fair? I mean, this is unique class you can get without having to look around for it and stuff, so maybe having the second conditions be so high was fair in some way?
Well, I still don't know what this class does.
Yeb. I don't.
I didn't really have any time to use this class yet, since we were quite busy and all, but now the leveling up speed of my necromancer classes are quite nice, since most of my classes are necromancy related.
So, when I finally had a time to calm down and read through this class and see what kind of skills it has…. I found this bullshit.
[Advance Undead Rank Up]
[Advance a target undead to the next rank.]
This wasn't like a normal rank up, no.
It was completely different.
It didn't just ranked up undead and evolved them like the other rank up skills did.
No.
They straight up make them evolve the undead at its core, like there is a skeleton and skeleton warrior or how there is normal, high and elder undead? This kind of difference. I'm talking about talking about those kind of huge differences between undeads.
So.
What did I did with it?
Obviously O'a was my target.
O'a and Zod are my strongest undeads, but O'a was my first real servant.
"You ready buddy?" – asked ClownFrog.
"Fuck yea." – replied O'a.
"Okay." – said ClownFrog.
"[Advance Undead Rank Up: Target: O'a Skeleton Warrior]."
The bright light surrounded the O'a and the sound of the bones breaking and tearing apart could be heard, but no bones even dropped on the ground.
O'a flames went wild, but O'a was still fine.
If anything, his figure was acting strange.
After some time passed, the evolution was completed and the O'a showed his new appearance to his master.
[Servant: O'a elder skeleton knight has evolved into O'a Death Knight.]
"How is it? You are now officially the death knight buddy." – said ClownFrog.
"This is… Incredible!" – said O'a while looking at his new body.
"My appearance changed a bit, but the power! I can feel it surging through my body! This is incredible!" – said O'a.
"Glad you like it buddy." – said ClownFrog.
(It seems that O'a stats changed drastically.) – though ClownFrog while observing O'a stats.
(His skills evolved or he got some new ones.)
(Right now, O'a is straight up monster that can take on players without much problems.)
(The only bad thing is that I cannot upgrade any more undeads. The limit of the undeads I can upgrade is very small.)
(Not only that, but O'a cost of the necro mastery straight up skyrocketed, he now needs a fortune of points to be on the field.)
(I do have a lot of points to spear, but even sheesh. That is still a lot like hell.)
(Not only that, but O'a lost his status as elder undead.)
(He isn't high or elder death knight but just a death knight.)
(So only undeads who are elder rank can rank up to become a death knight or maybe a lich?)
(If I used it on the high rank undead, would it instead turn into an elder undead?)
(….)
(Yeb. Its even in the skill description.)
(Regular undead will turn into high undead and the high undead will turn into elder undeads.)
(Hm…. But I don't have a lot of elder undeads, this is bit problematic.)
(The way for the corpse to turn into the high or elder undead varies from target to target.)
(So I can't have an army of the death knights, huh?)
(Yea, that would have been extremely broken if I could just have an army of the death knight at my disposal.)
(Wait, there is also the fact that the O'a was skeleton warrior.)
(What if he wasn't skeleton warrior? Would he still turn into the death knight?)
(Do only specific variants of undead can turn into a death knight?)
(Hm…. Yea… This skill is way more problematic than I though.)
(Not only this skill straight up sky rocket the cost of the undead, but it also have limited amount targets. There is also the fact that if you want to get the biggest amount of value, you need to target specific type of undead like the elder undead.)
(There is also this problem.)
[Servant: O'a is taking way more slots in registered list.]
[O'a has been removed from the list.]
(The number of the slots this guy take got increased as well, fuck me.)
(This skill can be extremely broken, but it can also be extremely annoying to the user, huh?)
(The developers balanced things out nicely to make sure that this class won't be so damn overpowered from the get go.)
(Well, after taking a look at this class, I can understand that I shouldn't have it yet.)
(This class should be in players hands that are around level 500-600 or maybe even 700?)
(But because I was fully focused on building my necromancy, I somehow managed to get this class way too early on.)
(Honestly, I would have locked this class until you reach X level or something, but I guess nobody had expected the fact that I would just fuck it all and go all necromancy.)
(Well, there is also the fact that I'm a lich now, so leveling up my skills that requires my monsters to fight straight up ended up receiving a massive boost in growth and those skills are not easy to level up.)
(So honestly speaking, being the lich straight up boosted the growth of my undead related skills and allowed me to hit that [High Necromancer] rank 4 sooner than I should have.)
(Still, the [Elder Necromancer] will definitely take shit ton of time.)
(Even among the epic rarity classes the [High Necromancer] was taking shit ton of time to rank up even once.)
(This class maybe have the pace of the legendary rarity class or something, shit.)
(Welp, I'm not complaining, I have a straight up army right now and this class provided me with some new interesting toys and even new monster creating skill called [Create: Death Guard].)

(I was thinking about getting the advance mage classes, but for crying out loud, I maybe be getting shit tons of points from doing various stuff non stop and even getting titles left and right and gotten few legendries, unique and epic rarity ones, but there is a limit for crying out loud.)
(I didn't just learn the extra necromancer classes only for stat buff, I learned every single skills they had to offer since they worked perfectly for me.)
(So honestly speaking, I went for the summoner classes instead, since…. Big army.)
(Still, to make even army of the undeads I cannot just snap my fingers and there, I need corpse as for the summoned monsters I need time to make them and mana to do it all, so its not really that easy.)
(Hm…... What-)
"Hey!" – shouted O'a.
"?!"
"Y-yes?" – said ClownFrog.
"You, okay? You were spacing out a lot and I was honestly considering hitting you to get your attention. I needed to straight up jump high and scream into your ear." – said O'a.
"Ah…. Yes. I'm fine." – replied ClownFrog.
"I was just thinking a lot."
"I could see." – said O'a.
"By the way, Blueberry came by and said that once you snap out of it, I should inform you that she wanted you to summon some of these earth dragon summons things for construction."
"Oh, thanks O'a." – said ClownFrog.
(Well, lets worry about stat and skills later.)
(For now let's focus on finishing the base as soon as possible.)
