[VRMMO] Dead One

Chapter 191 - 192 – Traveling underground.

[Sometimes ago before ClownFrog began wrecking up the prison.]

"…"

(This village is way too safe.) – though GreyHunt.

(And yet, there are guards here and there.)

(It would make sense if that place was near hunting grounds or something, but it's not.)

Inside the village, GreyHunt was using his skills to stay hidden and spy on the villagers.

(?)

(Weird. Where are those guys going?)

(They look like they are carrying a farming equipment…. But the farm is other way around.)

(…)

GreyHunt left the village without being seen and quickly fallowed the suspicious villagers.

After a while, GreyHunt found the villagers entering a weird shed and even after some time passed, they didn't left the building.

"…"

(What are they doing? This place don't seem big at all, so I doubt that they would stay there for that long.)

(I saw the carrying farming equipment, so they maybe went there to put the tools? But then again, if they did, then why they are there for so long?)

(Well, at first glance it may look normal for the farmer to return the tools back to the shed and all, but if they were suppose only to put the tools away, why they are still there?)

"…"

GreyHunt approached the shed while being invisible.

"…"

GreyHunt picked through the gabs of the shed doors.

(Nobody is inside.)

(Yeb. This place is definitely suspicious.)

GreyHunt slowly opened the shed doors before entering it.

(This is the place where they keep farming tools. But the farmers that entered the building are missing.)

(…)

(Blueberry said that the fanatics did had a hidden entrance leading to the underground facility.)

(…)

(?)

(There.)

(There is a hidden trap door here…. Let's see… It's not locked so I may-)

Suddenly, the trap door opened on its own and a group of villagers that disappeared before had walked out of it and left the shad.

"…"

(Holy shit! They almost saw me!) – though GreyHunt while hiding behind crates.

(Anyway, they are gone.)

"…"

GreyHunt approached the trapdoor slowly before then opening it.

(…)

(Yeb. This isn't some basement…. There is a path here.)

(But why is there such long corridor underground?)

(…)

GreyHunt turned on his sneaking ability and began walking down long underground corridor.

After some time passed, he found himself in front of an iron door.

"…"

(The detection skill don't sense anybody near the doors.)

GreyHunt got close to the door and began slowing opening them.

After opening the door, GreyHunt found himself in some sort of underground tunnel system.

(!)

(Okay! Fuck you! You ain't the villagers!) – though GreyHunt while trying to stay hidden.

(This is thing seem to split in many different directions.)

(Are the fanatics using this place to travel underground unnoticed?)

(…)

(Why so many people are using underground things?)

The unliving that went mad for the revenge.

Minotaurs hidden base.

Banditti's underground temple.

Harpies had a base inside canyon… Inside the wall… Does that count as underground?

There was also sobeks who had a literally city underground.

(But these guys are just straight up just showing off at this point.)

(Still, it's better if I inform the others about the situation.)

[You are unable to send the guild messenge.]

"?"

[You were unable to send a friend messenge.]

"???"

[You were unable to begin video call.]

"??????"

(What the?)

(I cannot contact the others?!)

(Is it a bug?)

(…)

(No.)

(By any chance this place is blocking my communication?)

(…)

(Wait a fuking second.)

(Shouldn't there be an messenge that I entered the dungeon or something by now?)

(…)

(Hm… This isn't normal place.)

(…)

(I think it's better if I do this alone.)

(I have one of the best sneaking abilities in the guild and just going inside without group may end up alerting the enemy.)

(Still, will my skills for sneaking around be enough?)

(It would have been great if something-)

Suddenly, a large group of people began running through the hallway.

"Move!" – said a fanatic soldier.

"Hey! What the heck is going on!?"

"I don't know! But apparently there is something going on in the prison! There is a chance that the monsters escaped or something! General Didurum'du told us to go there and do something and he is even heading there himself!"

Few moments later, the fanatics began taking one of the underground tunnel, leaving the cross path.

"…"

(Huh… Well, that will do.)

(I don't know what is going on, but at least that managed to get rid off them.)

(Well then, let's go and see what we can find in here?)

[Sometime later – ClownFrog side.]

"Shit! Lock the doors! Don't let the undeads in!" – said a fanatic knight.

"Reinforce it as well! We cannot- "

The doors that were being reinforced by the fanatic was suddenly blowed up, destroying the door and killing some of the fanatics as well.

Moments later, an abominations made out of the fanatic's corpse that looked like the two soldier corpse were fused together, creating abomination with 4 arms and two heads, carrying multiple weapons.

[Abomination Zombie Necromancer]

"Hey. Why are you running friends?" – asked ClownFrog while entering the room.

"I only want to test out this things!"

"Shit!"

"Die you monster!" – shouted the demon knight.

The demon knight rushed at the ClownFrog and tried attacking him, but the demon sword was stopped by the giant spear.

"?!"

When the knight looked, he saw the general, now a zombie being the one who was protecting the ClownFrog.

"General Didurum'du?!" – said the shocked knight.

Before the knight could understand what was going on, the demon general impaled the knight on his spear, killing the demon knight in instance.

"Shit!"

"Everybody! Retreat!"

The fanatics tried to run away, but ClownFrog summoned a wall of bones behind the fanatics, stopping them from running away.

"Sorry. But I need your corpse to boost my strength."

"So don't worry. You will soon murder your friends with your own two hands!" – said ClownFrog before letting the undeads go after the fanatics and eating them alive.

Before long, all the fanatics were killed by the undeads and ClownFrog used their corpse to make zombies.

(Hm…)

(This new class that Blueberry got me seem pretty strong.)

(But, it providing very few skills and the main to grow is to have different necromancer classes if you want to level up the class skill. This is an [Shared] type class and this class grow fully depends on your other classes.)

(Honestly, you need few necromancer classes if you want to level up this class.)

(Well, I do have a LOT of necromancer classes, so honestly it wasn't much problem for me.)

(Still, this class may only provide a very little number of classes, it still does provide few good ones.)

(Well… Those abominations do have some…. Problems.)

(They do eat some necro mastery points and if we combine the fact that you require to have multiple necromancer classes, meaning that for the average player, this class maybe bit hard to level up and it will be bit annoying to use for somebody who is not specializing in necromancy.)

(Well, even if you don't want to use those abominations, you will still end up getting some bonus zombies.)

(Anyway, these guys seem to have switched to the defense and are no longer going after me and instead are trying to slow me down?)

(I don't know what the fuck their deal is, but I will not play by their rules.)

(This place seem to be an cross road where different paths are connected.)

(With way should I go?)

(…)

While ClownFrog was wandering with path he should take, somebody had made their appearance behind him.

"There you are." – said the voice from behind.

"Hm? Oh. Hey Hera." – said ClownFrog while turning around.

"Yea. It's me. Anyway, what are you doing? I walked down past the prison and I saw everything destroyed." – said Hera while approaching ClownFrog.

"Are you trying to destroy this place or something?"

"Well, this is an enemy base and all, so why I should hold back?" – asked ClownFrog.

"Hm…. Fair point."

"Anyway, what are you doing here? The path seem to split. Are you unsure with way to go?"

"Yea. But here is a problem. Why is there a split road here?"

"By the look of things, my guess was right. This isn't just some underground base, but an underground system that allows the fanatics to travel around unnoticed. It would explain how the fanatics were appearing here and there."

"But here is the question. How far does it splits and stretches?"

"…"

"Anyway, did you manage to contact the rest of the guys?"

"Yes. According to that Catfolk girl, the rest of the gang is heading this way right now."

"However, she said something interesting as well."

"?"

"What is it?"

"She said that they lost contact with the GreyHunt."

"They couldn't contact him at all." – said Hera.

"I think he maybe in the underground like us."

"?!"

(GreyHunt is here?!)

(But wait! The village he was put in charge of is nowhere near my location! NO! In fact, it's literally he was supposed to be currently furthest away from me.)

(But if the communication was cut off like mine, does that mean he is in the SAME base as me?)

(But… If that is the case…. Them this place is even bigger than I though.)

(Just how far does it stretches if it can reach….)

(…)

(Wait a second… It doesn't fit…. If that was the case…. Then…)

(…)

(I will have to ask few questions when I got back.)

(But for now, we need to get to the core of this place in order to understand what REALY is this place.)

"Let's go Hera. By the look of things, we have a lot of work to do."
