"This idiot! He signed the contract and yet!" – said the demon necromancer.

"Hm? Contract?" – said Blueberry.

(I see. So, they must have signed the demonic contract.) – though Blueberry.

(If they leak the info, they got killed.)

(Fuck me. I thought we would finally got some info…. But wait. Does the demon lord have some means of breaking the contract? That would explain why they assassinated the prisoners.)

"This is a last warning. If you really want to surrender and survive, do everything." – said Blueberry.

The vampires and necromancer let go of their weapons.

The Rampage and Blueberry managed to capture the members of the fanatics and called over the demon lord to explain the situation.

After explaining situation, the demon lord immediately send some of her knights to quickly get to the scene while the members of the Purple Hyena guild were already on their way.

(Okay. That is done.) – though Blueberry

(I guess I should call the boss and others and explain the situation about the whole thing.)

(The dungeon clear message popped up this time, so enemy giving up and being captured counts as beating dungeon?)

(Anyway, what those things?)

(What these guys said, they couldn't use them because they didn't finished making them.)

(Were the flying demons delivering some important materials to them and they were making these things in hurry?)

(Now that I think about it, this facility was filled with rooms related to the monster creation as well as some experiments, but nobody were using them.)

(Unlike the necromancers and vampires we encounter before, every single one of them were about 3 times better than the guys from before, but there was not as many of them.)

(I would love to take a look around, but we need to keep an eye on these bastards or they may try to make a run for it.)

(Anyway, we need to make sure that these guys aren't killed or anything, if we want the demon lord to break their contract or something so we can finally extract the informations.)

After some time passed, the demonic knights arrived at the scene and taken away the captured members of the "Paimon fanatics" away.

After it was over, Rampage and Blubbery quickly left the dungeon and used the communication device to talk with the demon lord.

"So, they know about you, even before I had send you?" – said the voice of the demon lord coming out of the device.

"Yes. They suspected that you hired us and we were about to question them, one of them had their necks blowed up." – said Blueberry.

"I see." – said the demon lord.

"I heard from your boss about the stuff you uncovered, that the undead clan may have betrayed us if not just 1 of their leaders."

"But honestly, we cannot take any big actions against them, until we find out if that lich you encounter was really just an simple rouge and didn't worked for anybody of the undead clan."

"As for their "Master", it is supposed to be an necromancer like they suggested, but there is a chance that this necromancer may be somebody unknown to us."

"Well, at least this time we secured good amount of captives and this time they won't use the same trick they used before."

"We will get information this time from those captives."

"Still, that laboratory you discovered will need to be researched."

"A never before variants of the corpless? Not only that a weird undead giant monsters that appears to be not just some corpse but a manmade corpse?"

"It may be like you suspected that the reason why these flying demons appeared maybe be related to those giants you saw."

"Yea. Those guys seemed in hurry to make them and all the other facilities and room related to the monsters were empty, except for the monsters inside them. Nobody was using them when we got there." – said Blueberry.

"Hm… I see. Well, your friends are worried about you, so you better tell them that the situation is over or something." – said the demon lord.

"And now… I have even more work…. Great…." – said the demon lord with very annoyed and tired voice.

"Ah, by the way, I will give you bonus for doing that sudden job and stopping these fanatics from creating these giants as well as destroying that army of the experimental corpless."

"So come back to the capital city so you can get your reward."

(Good. We secured some nice loot as well some rewards points.) – though Blueberry.

(And I got to test out some of my new equipment.)

(Unfortunately, I found out that some of the stuff I made sucks.)

(For example, the power of the explosives daggers are way weaker than I thought, so in terms of cost they are not worth producing, unless I made some mayor changes.)

(As for the flamethrower, it can only fire for few seconds and at short distance. I had already run out of ammunition while fighting the lich.)

(As for the gauntlet. It does have a nice power, but it makes using my guns way harder. I literally cannot even use pistole with that hand.)

(I guess I still have a long way to go.)

(Still, I got some nice research data.)

(As for the golems, the model Aderson did great but the Igor got destroyed completely, none of them survived. I know that they are weak golems, but they died too quickly when facing those undeads. They weren't even able to take out few of them. I guess I need to start from the scratch with them or something.)

Blueberry quickly contacted the ClownFrog and began explaining the whole situation to him.

["Huh. So, it was a good thing that you didn't waited for us."] -ClownFrog.

["Still, we confirmed one thing about fanatics."]

["They are definitely originated from the demonic kingdom. That would explain some things about that facility you were in."]

["The undead clan is right now our number 1 suspect, but as for vampires, there are two clans, so it won't be that simple."]

["And there is chance that the undeads are set up by somebody... So, yea... We have so important info, but we don't have enough."]

["Still, good job you two. We finally made some progress thanks to you two."]

"Hm? Wait, you didn't got anything on your end?" - asked Blueberry.

["Nope. We found nothing on our end, honestly, we even looked around after we cleared up Corpseless, but nothing came out."]

["Anyway, we will head back to the base, what about you?"]

"We will head back as well. We are quite tired."

"Oh. By the way. We managed to get a class book and a ring, both meant for necromancer. I think you will like them."

["I see. Thanks. The more necromancer classes I have, the better."]

After the sudden crisis was averted and the members of the Purple Hyena guild had completed their first and second job assigned by the demon lord, the members returned back to their base.

However, it was not over since ClownFrog called the members of his guild to discuss the matter regarding the fanatics.

"So, the fanatics already know that we are working for the demon lord? For fuck's sake." - said Shri.

"Yea. That is very unfortunate. We thought we could have used the fact that they may know the fact that we are working with the demon lord for our advantage, but they found out as soon as we went to the castle? There is no mistaking it, they must have spies inside the castle." - said GreyHunt.

"But that at least confirms that the fanatics possess some authority inside the kingdom if they can plant just like that spies inside castle." - said Oron.

"And thanks to the Blueberry tricking the lich, we confirmed the fanatics to be fakes."

"Still, does that give us any leads? I mean with now knowing the fact that the fanatics are fake?"

"Well... Maybe we should spread the news around?" - suggested Shri.

"It won't do anything until we find out who is behind the fanatics. It's good that we now know for 100% that the fanatics are fake, but we should spread the news around when we find out the fanatic's leaders so it would restore some stability in kingdom." - said GreyHunt.

"So we are still fucked, right?" - asked Wretch.

"Pretty much." - replied ClownFrog.

"O-oh. By the way, here boss. It's those items I told you about." - said Blueberry while taking out a ring and class book from her inventory and handing them over to the ClownFrog.

"Oh. Thanks. By the way, here is that doll user class book I got from demon lord." - said ClownFrog while taking away items from Blueberry and giving in exchange the doll maker class book.

"And now. Lil and company. It's your turn."
