[VRMMO] Dead One

[At the border between Adernul kingdom and Umuri kingdom.]

"Say, do you really think that we maybe be going to the war for real?" – asked a soldier on top of a wall.

"I don't know, but maybe we will be forced to join in the war and support the Adernul kingdom." – said the other soldier.

"An army of monsters appeared out of a blue and are ravaging everything? Yea. It maybe bad idea to leave them be."

"But still, according to the adventures, apparently the one who started it all was Adernul kingdom doing and they are doing this in the name of revenge." – said the first soldier.

"So I doubt they will go after us."

"Not only that, our kingdom wasn't at war for many years, so are we really ready to head straight to the war?"

"Look. You and me are just low ranking soldiers that were put in guarding the border." – said the second soldier.

"Do you really think we know anything? We may or may not go to the war. It all depends on what those guys on the top says."

"Still, they did ordered a lot of troops to be put on the border patrol if by any chance those monsters attack us."

"So we shouldn't face any…. Hm?"

"Hey… Is somebody coming our way?"

"…Yea… You are right…. Wait a second." – said other soldier while using spyglass.

"They are carrying the flag of jackal! They are carrying the flag of the Umil kingdom!"

"Its only small group of 6 people."

"Wait. They stopped?"

"I think they want to talk?"

"Go inform border commander about this."

After some time passed, a group of knights left the boarder wall and headed straight towards the members of the Purple Hyena guild.

"Who are you people and why are you approaching our borders? I see you are carrying the flag of the Umil kingdom." – said a knight in green armor.

"Greetings."

"I'm ClownFrog."

"?!"

(ClownFrog?) – though the knight.

(I heard about him from adventures. Apparently, he is a necromancer working for the Umil kingdom who is said to be one of the strongest if not the strongest necromancers among the adventures.)

(…)

"I'm an leader of the Purple Hyena guild and as for my business, I have came here as an official envoy of Umil kingdom send by the queen herself."

"!"

"…"

"What does envoy of the Umil kingdom wants from us?"

"Well, first of all, we would like for now request an urgent audience with the person in charge of this place, since we may have something that he needs to see badly for the safety of the Umuri kingdom."

"!?"

"…"

"Come with us." – said the knight.

The group fallowed the knights back to the wall and entered the small fortress that was located right behind the border wall.

After entering fortress, the group headed straight to the office room belonging to the border commander office.

"Greetings. I'm Ih. The boarder commander and the one in charge of this place."

"Tell me. What does the official envoys of the Umali kingdom wants from me?"

"Well, I will cut right through the chase." – said ClownFrog.

"We want to meet up with your king, about now or at least have some means of having a conversation with him."

"I know this is all urgent and all, but you can probably see that we are at war right now."

"And before you ask, yes. It's related to the war."

"And here is important thing." – said ClownFrog while taking out some sort of documents and putting them on the table.

"?"

"What are those documents?"

"Well, the reason why we want to talk with your king."

"We stole these from king of the Adernul kingdom private office."

"They are not copies or fabricated documents. They are real originals."

"You can even have somebody check them or something."

"But for now, I recommend for you to read through them first."

"…"

The man picked some of the documents on the desk and began reading through them.

While reading, the man expression slowly changed.

He picked another document and read it before then picking another one.

The man face suddenly went pale after reading one of the documents.

"…"

"Shit…"

"HEY!" – the man suddenly shouted.

Suddenly, a pair of guards suddenly entered the room.

"Yes! Is something wrong sir?!" – asked one of the knights.

"Prepare the communication orb! I need to urgently speak with the king!"

"I'm sorry, but I need to leave right now and talk with the king about "This"."

"Can I also take these documents with me?"

"Sure. Go ahead. But just so you know, these documents belong right now to the Umil kingdom. So don't even think about stealing them." – said ClownFrog.

"!"

"I-I understand."

"Then excuse me."

The man picked the documents off the table and left the room together with the two knights that just came seconds ago, leaving the group alone in the man's office.

"…"

"Wow."

"His face turned pale really quickly in the instance." – said Shri.

"Well, no surprise there. I would also turned pale after reading the shit that the Adernul kingdom was planning." – said ClownFrog.

"We knew that the king was scumbag, but to think they were planning something like this is just straight up fucked up. It would not surprise me at all if the Umuri kingdom would declare war on the Adernul kingdom after finding about this." – said GreyHunt.

[Sometime later in another room.]

"…"

"Is that true?" – said a voice from the sphere.

"Y-yes… The information from the documents match with some things we found out ourselves and the documents themselves seem to be genuine as well." – said Ih.

"There is no mistaking it. The Adernul kingdom really wanted to wage war against us and they even wanted to use method that we would have never seen coming."

"My king… The crimes that the Adernul kingdom wanted to commit cannot go unnoticed."

"…"

"I understand."

"Say that to them this."

"They have my permission to meet and that they will have the kingdom official support in order to get here as soon as possible."

After some time passed, the guy in charge of this place has came back to the official and told us that the king himself granted our request of an audience with him.

Not only that, but the king told us to get here as soon as possible by any means and he even let us borrow some monsters called green gryphons.

It's a flying type monster that is only available to the Umuri country army.

Pretty much, they gave us the special privilege to use their special monsters as our means of transport.

I got to say, these monsters didn't disappointed us.

The traveling speed alone was far better than sand running lizards that the Shri had tamed.

It only took us few days to get to the capital city the Umuri kingdom with the help of the green gryphons.

After getting to the royal capital, we were ordered to meet with the king immediately.

They are impatient.

Good.

That means that they must have realized that the documents we have may be a real deal.

Thanks to you, your country only hope may turn into a despair.

Anyway, we were brought the royal castle of the Umuri kingdom and were immediately taken to the throne room, where the king of the Umuri kingdom was waiting for us.

[Michel Umuri – King of the Umuri kingdom]

A young looking dark forest elf was sitting on the throne room.

(So, he is the king of the Umuri kingdom, huh?) – though ClownFrog.

(I did heard that he is dark elf, but he looks quiet young.)

(Well, elven races do posses a long life spawn, so it wouldn't be surprising if he is 100 or 200 years old or something.)

"…"

"Greeting. My name is a ClownFrog." – said ClownFrog while bowing his head.

"I'm a guild master of the Purple Hyena guild as well as the official envoy of the Umil kingdom."

"Thank you for accepting our sudden request for the audience with you."

"I'm sorry for any inconvenience we caused with our sudden visit."

"Raise your head. There is no need to apologize about your visit, since I know you are already busy with the war you are doing with the Adernul kingdom."

"…"

(He is trying to hide it. But he is nervous.) – though ClownFrog.

"Then, by any chance, do you want to cut all the formalities and cut right into the chase?"

"Yea. Let's do it." – said the king.

"Why the Umil kingdom has send an official messengers to meet me during this time?"

"Well, an information per say." – said ClownFrog while taking out documents from his inventory.

"This documents belonged to the king of the Adernul kingdom and they were hidden inside his private office."

"They are not fabricated documents or copies."

"They are original documents."

"If you don't trust us, you can check them or something or maybe use some sort of lie detection spell on us to confirm these documents are real."

"Bring them to me."

One of the king royal guards approached the ClownFrog and took the documents from him before then handing them over to the king.

After getting the documents, the king immediately began reading through them.

Suddenly, while reading one of the documents the king face completely changed.

It was now filled with anger and disgust.

"You…."

"Did you said your name is ClownFrog?" – asked the king.

"Yes."

"…"

"What do you want?" – asked the king.

"Well, first thing first I want you to read through all of these documents. Then it will be a perfect time to talk, don't you agree?"

"…"
