[VRMMO] Dead One

After some time passed, both Rampage and GreyHunt left the capital city and headed straight towards the level 140 hunting grounds.

"Hey. Why are we avoiding these guys? We should be able to kill of these players with ease!" – said Rampage.

"And did you forget you bloody idiot about the fact that guy is hiding?!" – said GreyHunt.

"We are already a bit of celebrities ourselves, so there is no way people wouldn't ask question about why we were in this random area."

"So we either play it sneaky and avoid any detection and take the longer route, or we take a short path and we fuck up everything."

"So shut up and just stay out of sight."

"Tch."

GreyHunt and Rampage tried avoiding making even a slightest contact with players while trying to reach their destination.

It did ended up taking them a lot of time, but they finally manage to leave the hunting ground and head to the monsterless part of the forest where the vampire was located.

"Hey! Rolando! Can you hear me?" – asked Rampage.

"Yea." – said a voice from somewhere.

"On the tree on your right."

Right next to the pair, the vampire familiar bat monster was hanging on the tree.

"I wasn't expecting you to two visit me." – said the vampire through his familiar.

"So, lets cut right through the chase."

"What do you want from me?"

"We want to talk to you in person about something." – said GreyHunt.

"Is this about the war?" – asked vampire.

"Yea." – replied GreyHunt.

"Fine. Just fallow my familiar like last time and you will get to my hut."

The duo fallowed the vampire familiar like last and would soon arrive to the vampire hidden house in the forest and meet the vampire once again face to face.

"So, what the hell do you want?" – asked Rolando.

"Well, I'm going to ask you straight." – said GreyHunt.

"Are working for the demonic kingdom?"

"What if I'm?"

"We want to ask an audience with the demon lord or a way we can communicate with her."

"Why do you think I'm working for her?"

"Rampage stop!" – said GreyHunt, stopping Rampage from doing anything stupid.

"If you ever change your mind, seek out my boss. ClownFrog. He was that unliving lizardman you met last time." – said GreyHunt.

The pair left the vampire house before then completely leaving the part of the forest where the unknown vampire lived in.

"What now?" – asked Rampage.

"Well, boss said that vampire may or may not have connects to some people."

"So he said that we may not get anything from meeting that guy."

"But we maybe had gained something."

"What the hell are you talking about?" – asked Rampage.

"Did you forgot? This guy is a spy."

"He will report the situation to his "Boss" or something."

"So maybe we will gain something from this."

"But, I doubt the effect will be immediate."

"Anyway, its better if we contact him and tell him the entire situation."

["I see. Well, that sucks."] – ClownFrog.

["But maybe he will contact us? But honestly how sure can we be about this?"]

["I guess I have no choice. I will ask the queen and ask her to send maybe an envoy or something to the demonic country in order to arrange meeting or something."]

"Well, we tried." – said GreyHunt.

"Anyway, how are the things on your end? Did kingdom made any movements or something?"

["Well, yes and no."]

["Yes. Because a players belonging to Adernul faction tried attacking us, but they got killed before they could even enter the city."]

["And no, since the enemy main army didn't seem to made any actions against us or send a small army after us."]

["However, I have some bad news."]

["In the next 3-5 days, queen will be forced to go back to the dessert."]

["With her gone, the enemy main army will start pushing us back and we will be suffering some heavy casualties."]

["So based on how things stands, we will have to get moving again soon."]

"Are we joining our main army?" – asked Rampage.

["By the look of things, yes."]

["I was thinking of doing some sneaky assault or trolling, but either of these options are out of questions and we will get annihilated by the enemy main army."]

["So, the only option we have right now is to join forces with our main army and try to win this somehow with head on confrontation."]

["However, the problem still stands with the neighboring countries."]

["Especially the Umuri kingdom. The place where we started."]

["Their position is straight up too good for them and it's putting us in great danger."]

["If we at least somehow made them ignore us and make them not participate in the war, then we would have a solid chance in winning this war."]

["Anyway, Rampage, GreyHunt."]

["I found those "Cruel Knights" class books like you asked. They were in their armor."]

["I will hand them over to you once you get back here."]

["I also managed to secure some other good stuff that may satisfy you. That fat king had some nice things stored in his castle."]

"Oh. Then I'm looking forward to it. I saw those knights using some nasty and interesting skills, so I'm wondering what kind of skills I can get from that class." – said Rampage.

"Anyway, it shouldn't take us too long to get back, so you may start slowly preparing to move out." – said GreyHunt.

["Nah. We still need to sack everything valuable from this place, so we will probably not go today and instead go tomorrow."]

["There maybe some more useful stuff that maybe we or minotaurs can use. So, you are in no rush to get back and you can take your time."]

[The video call has ended.]

"FUCK!" – shouted ClownFrog.

(Of fuking course I was too hopeful about getting to meet the demon lord that easily or any of the powerful figures like queen without any real problem.) – though ClownFrog.

(Still, this sucks.)

(The reason why I wanted reinforcements from the demonic country is to counter any other counties that would try and join the war on the Adernul faction side.)

(If somebody joins them, then in long term run, we will definitely lose the entire war.)

(If they would just stay out of our business, then we have a good chance at winning this war.)

(Can that vampire connect us to the demon lord in the first place? And can we even convince her to join hands with us?)

(If so, then the next best thing would be somehow preventing the kingdom of Umuri.)

(If we just somehow made them stay out of our way and not lend any form of support to the Adernul kingdom, then we can win this.)

ClownFrog left the throne room and headed straight to the king private work office in order to look through the documents stored in there.

ClownFrog hit the table right to him out of anger.

ClownFrog noticed a hidden drawer inside the table he just hit.

Inside the hidden drawer, there were bunch of hidden documents that instantly catched ClownFrog attention.

After picking the documents and reading them, ClownFrog began laughing like mad man.

"Oh, my fuking lord!"
