Miss Violetta continued to stare at her hands, which had been injured after being attacked by Rid. They were trembling quite violently, and her eyes seemed blank as she stared at them. What Miss Violetta was experiencing right now was similar to someone experiencing trauma. Indeed, Miss Violetta was indeed experiencing trauma. She had been traumatized since leaving the Holy Kingdom. This trauma was what led her to return to the kingdom of San Fulgen. The reason for this trauma was related to her last battle with a very powerful 'creature'.

About three weeks ago, in a small town in the Holy Kingdom, Svetais.

Almost all of the city was destroyed. The city was also flooded by high waters, causing several buildings to sink. Many people were seen dead, floating in the floodwaters, along with the debris of destroyed buildings.

The floodwaters that had inundated the city were slowly moving towards a river not far from the city. The current of water moving towards the river also carried people and debris from the destroyed buildings. Not only in the floodwaters, but also scattered bodies atop the damaged buildings that hadn't been submerged by the floodwaters.

Then, two people wearing long white robes arrived in the city. Besides their white robes, their uniforms were also white with hints of gold. On the back of their robes was an image resembling a large, gold letter "I" with two pairs of white wings on either side. One of the two was a male Elf, carrying a medium-sized sword at his waist and a bow on his back. The other was a human woman, carrying a sword whose sheath was adorned with floral motifs. She was Miss Violetta.

"This is terrible. Not only other cities, but this city is also facing the same fate. Who would dare do this to the Holy Kingdom?" asked the male Elf.

"Whoever did this, we'll execute them immediately if we find them. For now, let's check the city first, Lucas. Maybe we can find some survivors," said Miss Violetta.

The male Elf's name was Lucas.

"Ok," Lucas said.

The two of them began searching the city, jumping over buildings and ruins that hadn't yet been submerged in the floodwaters. However, they didn't find any survivors in the city; they only found many bodies on top of buildings and floating in the floodwaters. They continued searching the city until they finally reached the center of the city. In the center of the city, there was a building that stood taller than the others. It was still standing strong, despite being heavily damaged. Miss Violetta and Lucas approached the tall building. Then they saw someone sitting on the edge of the tall building's roof.

"Who is that?" asked Miss Violetta.

"Let's get closer," Lucas said.

They jumped onto the tall building and finally reached the mysterious figure. Miss Violetta and Lucas were standing behind the seated person. A closer look revealed that the person was a woman wearing a combination of white and dark blue. Her hair was also dark blue.

"Who are you?" the woman asked without looking back.

"We should be the ones asking you. Who are you? Were you the ones who destroyed this city and killed its inhabitants? Not just this city, but other cities as well," Miss Violetta said.

"If I say 'yes', what will you two do?" the woman asked.

Without answering the woman's question, Miss Violetta quickly cut off the woman's head.

The woman's head was separated from her body.

"Isn't it rude to just cut off my head like this without any warning?" the woman asked.

Even though her head had been severed, the woman was still able to speak. This shocked Miss Violetta and Lucas.

"What the hell was that?" asked Miss Violetta, shocked.

The woman's head that was cut slowly turned into a mass of water. Then on the body of the woman who was slashed, a group of water suddenly appeared from the neck of the woman who was slashed. The mass of water slowly reshaped the woman's head.

After her head began to form again, the woman rose from her seat and turned to look at Miss Violetta and Lucas. Her face was clearly visible after she turned around; her face was very beautiful, and her eyes were also very beautiful. Her eyes were the same deep blue as her hair.

"Who the hell are you?" asked Miss Violetta.

"Before I answer your question, let me ask you a question first. Judging by the uniforms you're wearing, you're Holy Knights, aren't you?" the woman asked.

"That's right, we're both Holy Knights. We came here to search for the perpetrator who destroyed several cities in the Holy Kingdom. Now tell me, who are you?" said Miss Violetta.

Miss Violetta and Lucas looked wary. They were holding their swords and preparing to attack.

"My name is Undine, is that enough to answer your question?" asked Undine.

"Undine? I think I've heard of that name before," said Lucas.

"What is your purpose in coming here?" asked Miss Violetta.

"Didn't I say earlier that I was the one who destroyed this city, so of course my purpose in coming here—" said Undine.

Before Undine could finish, her head and waist were suddenly severed by a slash from Miss Violetta.

"You're truly rude, aren't you? At least let me finish my sentence first. And at least tell me your names after I've already told you mine," said Undine.

Undine's body was now cut into three pieces, but she could still speak despite her mutilation.

"We don't need to tell our names to a 'great sinner' like you," said Miss Violetta.

"It's a shame that you didn't tell me your names. But well, come to think of it, I don't need to know your names either. I don't need to know the name of someone who's about to die," said Undine.

Suddenly, Undine's leg, which had been severed, kicked Miss Violetta swiftly. However, before Undine's leg could reach Miss Violetta, it suddenly transformed into a long water dragon.

~Water Spirit Magic : Water Dragon's Roar Smash~

Miss Violetta didn't have time to react to the attack and was hit hard, sending her flying and crashing into several buildings, destroying them. Miss Violetta vomited blood. The water dragon continued to carry Miss Violetta, crashing through several buildings until it suddenly exploded upon impact. The explosion was quite powerful, destroying the building immediately. Miss Violetta, who had been carried by the water dragon, was also caught in the blast.

Lucas, witnessing the massive explosion, was shocked.

"Violetta!" Lucas shouted.

Then, Undine's severed head and body began to transform into a mass of water. Her legs, which had previously transformed into water dragons, began to return to their original state. Then, Undine's main body slowly began to recover from her waist to her head.

"I don't really like rude people, so I decided to get rid of them quickly. I didn't get rid of you immediately because you seemed polite enough not to try to attack me outright," Undine said to Lucas.

"I knew that attacking you outright wouldn't do any good. Because no matter what attack hits you, it can't hurt you, right, 'Divine Water Elemental Spirit, Undine'?" Lucas asked.

"It seems you already know who I really am," Undine said.

"At first, I felt like I knew something about the name 'Undine'. Then, after seeing your body turn to water with every attack or slash, I realized something. The only creature whose body is difficult to attack is a Spirit. And with your human-like appearance, only a high-ranking Spirit can use that appearance. Then I finally remembered that you, Undine, are one of those high-ranking Spirits. I learned about that from a book I read about Spirits," Lucas said.

"I see, congratulations on remembering me," Undine said, clapping her hands.

"I have a question for you, Undine. Why would a high-ranking Spirit like you come here and destroy these cities?" Lucas asked.

"Hmm, let's just say I destroyed these cities just for fun," Undine said.

"For fun, you say? Do you think destroying cities and killing the people who inhabit them is fun for you?" Lucas asked, getting angry.

"That's right. I don't care who I kill as long as I'm happy. I only care about myself, I don't care about weak creatures like you," said Undine.

"Damn you, Undine!" said Lucas.

Lucas prepared to attack Undine, but suddenly Miss ​Violetta appeared and stabbed Undine in the left chest.

Undine's left chest was immediately punctured by the stab. Undine was immediately pushed back, almost falling off the roof of the building.

"Violetta, are you okay?" asked Lucas, surprised by Miss ​Violetta's presence.

"For now, I'm fine. But I used a 'Holy Potion' to heal the wounds I received. I didn't expect that one attack to be enough to seriously injure me," said Miss Violetta.

"How many 'Holy Potions' do you still have?" asked Lucas.

"Four," said Lady Violetta.

"Too few to prepare for a fight against her," said Lucas.

"Against who? ​Didn't I already kill that woman?" asked Miss Violetta.

"No. She's not a creature that can be killed simply by piercing her chest. You must have thought to stab her in the left chest because the left side of her heart is located. Because she looks human, that's why you thought that. But she's not human, so her heart isn't necessarily in her left chest," Lucas said.

Undine's hole in her left chest slowly began to close back up.

"You're back again, even though I sent you flying so you wouldn't come back," Undine said.

But Miss Violetta didn't respond to Undine's words.

"So what should we do? The Leader's orders were to kill the perpetrator of the city's destruction, no matter who it was," Miss Violetta said.

Lucas thought for a moment, then spoke.

"I have a plan," Lucas said.

"What plan is it?" asked Miss Violetta.

"I want you to distract her, and I'll be the one to cut her down. I have a way to defeat her, considering I once defeated a Spirit myself," Lucas said.

"Very well," said Miss Violetta.

"Then I'll leave it to you," Lucas said.

Miss Violetta then dashed toward Undine and immediately slashed her again. However, Undine regenerated her body after being slashed by Lady Violetta. When her body had recovered, Undine intended to attack Miss Violetta with the same technique as before. However, suddenly an arrow shot towards Undine. Undine didn't have time to dodge, and was struck squarely in the chest.

The arrow slowly pierced Undine's body. Then, Undine's chest suddenly began to freeze. Not only her chest, Undine's entire body slowly began to freeze until finally, Undine froze completely.

"How does it feel to be hit by my ~Freezing Arrow~? Whether you're a high-ranking Spirit or not, if your body is made of water, you'll definitely freeze if you come into contact with ice magic," Lucas said.

Lucas then wielded his medium-length sword and prepared to attack Undine.

"Now, all that's left is the final finish. Stand back, Violetta, let me finish her off," Lucas said.

Miss Violetta stepped back, and Lucas immediately darted toward Undine's frozen body. Lucas then coated his medium-sized sword with powerful wind magic.

~Wind Magic : Destructive Wind Blow~

Lucas intended to destroy Undine's frozen body with a strike from his sword. But before his sword strike could reach Undine, her frozen body suddenly began to crack, and Undine was freed from her freeze.

"I know what you're thinking. Because I'm of water, you decided to use elemental magic, which is my weaknes, ice magic. Of course, that's not wrong. But..." Undine said.

Suddenly, Undine created numerous water balls surrounding her body. From these balls, a jet of water shot out, shooting towards Lucas. The jets of water punctured Lucas's body, legs, and arms, knocking him down before he could attack Undine. Lucas lay in a pool of blood, riddled with holes in his body.

"...If you want to defeat me using ice magic, at least use ice magic that's as powerful as the Divine Elemental Spirits or above. The ice magic of weak creatures like you certainly won't be able to defeat me," Undine said.
