My match with Senior Vyn and his six Dragons was still ongoing.

While I was in the air, the Water Dragon on the left in my vision and the Fire Dragon on the right in my vision began to prepare to launch elemental blasts from their mouths. The blasts from both Dragons shot toward me simultaneously. I prepared to block the attack.

Although both blasts were fired simultaneously, the fire blast from the Fire Dragon was the one that aimed to hit me first. I aimed my sword at the fire blast.

After my sword struck the fire blast, I immediately moved my sword toward the water blast that was about to hit me from the other direction.

~Deflection~

The fire blast deflected toward the water blast. The two blasts collided, causing a massive explosion.

"He can deflect it​?!" said Senior Vyn, surprised.

Steam appeared due to the reaction effect of the two attacks of different elements. The water vapor that appeared in the arena obscured Senior Vyn and the dragons' vision. While they were distracted by the steam, I immediately approached them. I approached the iron dragon ridden by Senior Vyn, while the ice swords that had previously surrounded me moved closer to the other dragons. Once I got close, I launched an attack.

I slashed Senior Vyn's iron dragon with my sword, while I slashed the other dragons with the ice swords that had previously surrounded me. My attack knocked the dragons back. The water dragon, in addition to being pushed back, also suffered a frozen slash from my attack. Despite this, the water dragon and the other dragons survived my attack.

"Even though I used ~Glacier Strike~ which was more powerful than Irene's usual, it only pushed the Dragons back. I thought that attack would be enough to defeat all the Dragons, but it seems I was wrong. It seems I really need to use an elemental slaying slash to completely annihilate the Dragons," I thought.

After executing that attack, I landed back on the arena floor. The spikes that had previously appeared in the arena had disappeared. Then I summoned the ice swords that had separated while attacking the Dragons to surround me again. After that, I immediately shot back towards Senior Vyn.

As I tried to approach Senior Vyn, a slash suddenly came towards me. I dodged the slash. The slash hit the arena floor, leaving a deep scratch on the metal floor. I looked around to see where the slash had come from. It turned out to be Senior Vyn who had launched the slash. He was holding his sword, which had been kept at his waist. Not just now, but since the beginning of the tournament, Senior Vyn hadn't seemed to use his sword.

"This is the first time I've seen you use your sword, Senior," I said.

"I usually defeat my opponents easily just by relying on the objects I create. But I know I can't defeat you just by relying on that, so I chose to use a sword."

"Now, feel this, Rid," Senior Vyn said.

Senior Vyn launched a long-range slash at me, but I managed to dodge it. But the slashes didn't stop there, as Senior Vyn continued to launch a series of long-range slashes. The slashes left numerous scratches on the metal floor of the arena.

"This slash is so sharp it can even scratch metal. Make sure not to get hit by it, Rid, because I don't know what will happen if it hits you," Senior Vyn said.

I continued to dodge Senior Vyn's slashes. While I was focused on dodging the slash, the other Dragons began attacking me again with their elemental blasts. All six Dragons simultaneously launched elemental blasts straight at me. I didn't have time to dodge the blasts because I was so focused on avoiding Senior Vyn's slash. And finally...

*BOOM

The elemental blast hit where I was standing. The combination of the six elemental blasts created a massive explosion when it hit the arena where I was standing. Thick smoke appeared in the arena, blocking my vision.

"After being hit by an attack like that, there's no way you can survive, Rid. This is my victory," said Senior Vyn.

"And this also fulfills my promise to you, uncle. After being hit by that attack, he must have been seriously injured," thought Senior Vyn.

While Senior Vyn was lulled into a trance, thinking he had already won, I immediately shot towards Senior Vyn from behind the smoke.

I immediately slashed at the Iron Dragon that Senior Vyn was riding. The Iron Dragon was sent flying, leaving a large ice scar on its body.

"What!? What happened?," said Senior Vyn, shocked.

Senior Vyn immediately looked around to see what had caused his Iron Dragon to be hit.

"Rid?!?! How did you survive that attack? Didn't you have no time to dodge my attack?," said Senior Vyn, surprised to see me still survive his attack without even a single injury.

"Even with those glasses of yours, I'm sure you can see what's happening. Okay, I'll tell you, if I don't have time to dodge your attack, I can just block it with either my weapon or my magic. It's that simple."

"It seems you're so confident in your victory, senior, that you didn't even check what happened after your Dragon Blast hit the arena," I said.

I then tried to approach senior Vyn and his Iron Dragon. Although I managed to slash the Iron Dragon, leaving its body scratched by ice, it wasn't completely destroyed. However, approaching senior Vyn and his Iron Dragon wasn't easy, as the other Dragons began attacking me. They attacked me with claws, tails, and elemental blasts. But I managed to evade them all.

"Looks like I have to defeat them all first, then defeat the Iron Dragon that senior Vyn is riding," I thought.

I decided to defeat these Dragons first. As I thought this, the Water Dragon began to spray its elemental blasts at me. I dodged the attack and headed straight for it. Once I got close, I jumped high, aiming for its head.

But just as I was about to slash the water dragon, a fire dragon appeared between me and the water dragon. My slash hit the fire dragon instead of the water dragon I was supposed to hit. My slash had no effect on the fire dragon.

"It seems my suspicions were correct. Your slash, which can cut elements, can only be used for one specific element. If it's used on an element you're not targeting, it will have no effect," said Senior Vyn.

Before I knew it, Senior Vyn and his iron dragon had already approached me. The iron dragon tried to attack me with its claws, but the ice swords surrounding me immediately moved to block the iron dragon's claws. However, the iron dragon's claws were so powerful that they shattered all my crafted ice swords.

After destroying my ice swords, the iron dragon's claws came at me. But I managed to dodge the attack. I then moved to the Wind Dragon and used a ~Wind Splitting Slash~ on it, but a Water Dragon suddenly appeared and blocked my slash. My slash had no effect on it. I continued to the other Dragon and attacked with the same slash, but it was again blocked by the other Dragon.

"It's useless, Rid. You won't be able to defeat my Dragons because your technique has been read," said Senior Vyn.

Currently, the six Dragons were standing around the one in the middle, preparing to unleash another burst of their elemental energy.

"Looks like I'll have to use that technique. Well, there's no harm in it, and I've already learned it, it would be a waste if I didn't use it," I said.

I jumped high into the air, reaching the level of the six Dragons' heads. The six Dragons, who had previously been about to direct their elemental energy energy downward, began to follow my movements and now aimed theirs at me, who was in midair. Before they could launch their blast, I immediately launched a slash at them.

I immediately slashed the necks of the six dragons surrounding me. Their necks slowly fell apart, and their heads began to fall from their bodies.

He was so shocked that he didn't notice the head of the iron dragon he was riding begin to fall to the arena floor. Senior Vyn fell as well. Just as Senior Vyn was about to fall to the arena floor, I launched my attack at him.

I launched a thrust from a considerable distance at Senior Vyn. Senior Vyn was struck squarely in the stomach by the attack. He was sent flying and slammed hard into the arena wall.
