34. The Empire of Caos

The president smiles at you.
"Good evening, my boy, everything is going well. We wanted to summon you here tonight because we have an important matter to discuss with you."
Alright. You may proceed.
The president takes a deep breath and looks at you.
"Caos, we have been very impressed with your performance on the field, and you are a huge asset to the team. But as you know, we are a business, and we need to make sure that our assets are generating revenue for the club," says Florentino.

The President continues.
"We have been looking into ways to generate more revenue, and we have come up with an idea that we would like to propose to you," says Florentino.
I am all ears.
The president leans back in his chair and looks at you. "You see, we believe that expanding our merchandise line could significantly boost our income," he explains, his eyes glinting with enthusiasm. "Not just the usual jerseys and hats, but also exclusive collaborations and limited-edition items that can attract both fans and collectors alike."
"We have noticed that you have a very strong following on social media, and we believe that you could be a goldmine for us in terms of marketing and advertisement," says Florentino.
What do you propose? You can say it. "Well, I think we should start by launching a series of promotional campaigns that leverage my platform to engage our audience directly," he replies, a smile spreading across his face. "By creating buzz around these exclusive items, we can tap into the excitement of our fan base and drive significant sales."
The president leans forward and interlocks his fingers.
"We are thinking of making you the face of Real Madrid's marketing campaign. Your image and popularity could bring in a lot of money if we play our cards right," says Florentino.
Alright. It was just that, right?
The President smiles and shakes his head.
"No, there’s more. We also think it will be beneficial for the team on the field. With an increased popularity, we can attract more sponsors and investors, which will benefit the team as a whole. We also think it will help with recruitment—other players will want to join us because they will get to play with you," says Florentino.
I guess that is all. We are on the same page.
The president nods and stands up.
"Yes, that is all we have for today. We are glad that you are on board with this idea. We will be in contact with you soon with the details and will let you know when we want to start rolling out some of the marketing and advertising materials. You have a good evening, Caos." Says Florentino.
